Do you find me strucks always right hand drive or is there some left hand drive ones please comment back I'd like to put a little plow on one of these Let me know
I moved to the Philippines a few years back and just purchased one of these Carry's about a month ago. We purchased some property high up in the mountains where there are no roads and these little trucks go just about any place. I couldn't get up the mountain with my Toyota suv. But this little thing just climbs. Even in the mud! It's stock right now but soon lift kit, wheels and a winch.
My father. In law had one of them in the uk. He used it for delivering milk. I remember once filling it with milk crates and then having a puncture on a dark farm track. No lights 4 am. I had to take the full load off to change the tyre then re-load it as the jack was too small to lift with load. Those trucks can take a lot of stick. We used to fill it to the top of the cab with milk on a Saturday when we doubled up. He didn’t deliver Sunday. Look after it and it will last a long time.
I use to have a suzuki forsa back in the day (1988). I had trouble starting it in -20 and lower temperatures, it just wouldn't turn over fast enough. But then I bought a battery blanket, which plugs in like a block heater. No more problems starting in cold weather ever again!
Great video. Constructively, the stereo being on distracts from what buyers want to see and hear. I never even power up the radio when test driving used vehicles.

How long do these have to run before putting out decent amount of heat? And does the larger dia. tires hurt performance very much? Thanks I really like your video.....
American are looking at that thinking "yeah, but what about during the summer?" Canadians are reading this and thinking "What are you talking about? This is summer!"
Interesting. I have seen older ones for as little as 5000 dollars. Would be great for work around the farm and getting feed and fertilizer . Maybe even go to the grocery store.
@@mikewest712 With the research I have done on them I don't believe I will be getting one. They are really quite dangerous. It would work well on a farm but I wouldn't use on the highway.
All it needs is a good heavy duty winch up front...Plow snow, be able to pull yourself out of a bad spot etc..I look at it as a street legal, warm, utility SXS.
How much money do these set someone back to buy a good used one. I would prefer one of these over a side by side any day nice mods done to it big props to you.

I think it's really cool so you don't have to run wires and install speakers, but it's more ergonomic and permanent than just using a bluetooth speaker.
Hello, I just got a 1999 Kia Metro Towner which is the same as the Hijet and I want to put new tires and rims. Can you share the link where you got them and information of what I need to buy ? Does golf cart rims fit? I see very nice ones on Amazon and ebay but don't know if the bolts pattern are the same. Thank you in advance for you help.

Canadians be like -30, might throw on a light jacket and long britches, heard it was going to get up to -15 today, get the kids ready we’ll go on a picnic after I show my truck off.
Interesting little radio. I’d imagine with a 1500lb or so curb weight and no engine over the front wheels it probably is still pretty easy to turn the wheel without power steering. Looking at getting a mini truck only down side is I have to get a 25 year or older model to register in the US.
Do you sell windshields i need one for my 2002 Suzuki Carry 4x4? A rock popped from a truck in front of me a cracked mine bad!? I'm in the states Arkansas. Likely bumpers and a stereo also.
Definitely one of our favorite tires. The Bed mat was original from Japan. You may be able to go by your local Farm supply store and see if they have some stall mats that might work
we run 14" rims with street tires all the time, but you can typically only go 23-24" tall tires to fit without rubbing the fenders so not much choice in a 14" atv tire that size
Just found this channel cool deal! I’ve always wanted one of these type trucks as an off road dick around.i subscribe to a couple places that import Japanese vehicles thanx for the info! Are those ATV/UTV rims and tires,? Look same as my RZR?ok they are should have watched video before asking my bad
The one that takes getting used to is the turn signal stalk - it's on the right side of the steering column. Left side is the wipers; ask me how I know... 😁
Yes but they're hard to find. The ones built for Japan are RHD; they did an export version called the Super Carry that's LHD (and has a 4 cyl gas or 2 cyl diesel engine) that's sold across Asia. Problem with getting one is they tend to end up in the more remote parts of the Philippines, Malaysia, etc, so unless you're there on the ground it ain't easy to locate one
I think Tesla or someone should make an electric version of this truck. I own an old and 80s s10 chevy and what I love about my truck is that the back sides are not two high so its easy to load stuff in and out. Regular modern truck beds like f150s and other makes are crazy high up so they make tailgates now with steps on them. they get higher and higher every year so really it is not useful. Of course this little guy is awesome easy for utilitarian tasks and loading and unloading!!!!.... I love the geo metro standard suzuki interior (I also have a geo metro, made by suzuki). Suzuki is super reliable. The should continue to make models like this!!!!

Very cool. Would love to see the 4x4 in action
Hey There nice trucks. When I was in the Dominican Republic I was tempted having one shipped to my residence.
battery sits outside...perhaps a battery heat wrap helps a ton.
is it safe sitting out like that? wont it get soaking wet?
Japanese mini trucks are said to be the strongest on snowy roads.
Love this little truck. You did a fantastic job on it.
Literally you can see it anywhere in a southern part of the Philippines, its like the people's car.😃
What a beauty. Ideal for fishing and hunting trips
That little stereo with built-in speakers would be awesome in a cab tractor or skid steer, although I imagine most PTO attachments would drown it out.
yes useless, sound quality is crap
I am also riding on the SUZUKI mini truck.
Headlights become clear if polished with a fine compound.
They make battery warming “blankets” that help out a bunch too.
what a great little truck for the farm
man this truck looks so cute
I live in Tennessee. I would love to have one of these little trucks with a dump bed and a differential lock. I'm very curious about price.
Another dude payed 5k for one 25 years old and 4x4 with 4hi+4lo+diff lock+dump bed with 30 thousand kilometers

Basically what it is. A lot of people would buy these if they were more available.
The temp inside the cab is 18c which is 66f. To convert Celsius to Fehrenheit just times 18c x2 = 36c +30c= 66
Cool little machine.

Great video. Would the heater work a little better if you had the selector in recirc mode instead of fresh air in?
For sure that would make it hotter for sure. +18c doest sound like much but when your dressed for -30 it's too hot!
