    I remember when these came out in the 90s. It had a string you had to thread then pull. It really does work the wrist and forearm I still have two somewhere in my collection of exercise equipment.

      I remember from the 80’s. That thing is really old.

      I was about to say the same thing. The spring is a nice touch because I always lost the string 😅 they are cool though

    Just be careful y’all…that shit spins so fast!!! I have a scar from the moving part touching me

      Good warning. I totally want one and would use it cuz it's cool.

    • @keqrou
      @keqrou ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@busyrandas someone who uses it regularly it does work, but assuming your not me it's not worth it. Using dumbells and doing reverse grip forearm curl and other movements are more effective. Only reason I need it is because I have wrist injuries on both wrist from mountain biking so I struggle to perform those movements

      You know it’s spinning insanely fast when it looks like it’s barely spinning

    • @dirtpoorchris
      @dirtpoorchris ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@keqrou I dunno man I get that shit to like 20,000 rpm and quite a bit of lactic acid builds up in the forearm and you can feel the tendons getting a good workout too.

    • @keqrou
      @keqrou ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dirtpoorchris trust me, it is no where near as good as just dumbells. and yes, it is good for youre tendons but not for hypertrophy.

      how do you get over the initial pain? i’ve had post traumatic tendinitis and arthritis in my wrist after falling on ice (no fractures) for 4 months after injury and 9 more months later i still get some pain sometimes and whenever i try to spin it around like this, even just my fist with no weight, i get severe acute pain. i just don’t know what i’m supposed to do

    • @tlo1216
      @tlo1216 ปีที่แล้ว

      @user-pf5lw9jn7v I'm not a medical professional, but for me I just did everything light up to the point before pain. Don't really know what to suggest, but trying to stay within that line has worked for me

      its good for flossing the wrist tendons and a bit of handgrip if you get it real fast, but you feel the burn more in your top forearm like the popeye muscle.

    Someone finally made one of these with the spring built in? I remember having one of these that you had to start with the string. And if you lost the string, you better help that you can flick it fast enough to get it started.
