Seriously? I mean really, how does a military cover band protect our freedoms and protect our lives? Seriously, I’d like to know. None of this translates to the role of our United States military. Are they talented? Yes. Very much so. But why are my tax dollars paying for this? If you say it’s a necessary part of our military, let me ask you this: Would you be okay with a police department taking our taxpayer funded police officers off the streets and assigning them to play in a band full time? Hell no you wouldn’t. Or what about taking sanitation workers off the routes and assigning them to full time entertainment duties? Or firemen. Or street workers? Absolutely not. So why the hell is it acceptable for our taxpayer funded military to so? Things like this are exactly why government spending is out of control.
@@tntkop Well our job is also to be humanitarian. It is our job not just to keep fellow Americans safe but also to make them feel safe and make them happy. Especially in uncertain times everyone needs a good morale boost. Not just for civilians but also fellow servicemen. Also music is uniting. In other countries we share our music and they share theirs and we all smile and have a good time together. It's a sign of peace to other countries when tensions are high. Our military isn't just for killing. Its for making the world a better place and what better way to do that then music?

Great music, well performed is universal and helps join us together. I was a young student nurse in UK in early 1970s when Bohemian Rhapsody was launched. QUEEN are best UK band ever. Thse US soldiers perform great songs, with fab backing brilliantly. MAGIC. 👌
I'm an English man, retired in Thailand now, a fan of Queen. I loved their music, it was fantastic. The best compliment I could pay these guys and girls was that their performance was the best I've ever heard, second only to Queen themselves. Well done, I was sitting at home applauding every song.
This video reminds me of the TOPS & BLUE BAND of the US AIR FORCE. Many years ago they came to Clark Air Base in the Philippines and was very impressed by the their talent of singing. Not just soldiers but also great entertainers. It was unforgettable show. Same with is video. Thank you for sharing.

Learned how to soldier in the FRG forty years ago, but have been in and out of bands for more than 50. Freddie would blush with pride I think to see his work performed so magnificently. Can not even imagine what the completion for those billets would be like. They definitely reflect great credit upon themselves and the U.S. Army.

This is an outstandingly good musical performance from an army group performing, quite difficult and challenging Queen songs. All the best to US from Sweden.
All these soldiers are professional entertainers recruited to do what they are doing. Notice they are mostly E7 or above and none of them are very young

I wish it were possible to find every freedom loving person on earth and invite them to join our American family. So many born here have no idea what our nation stands for. Those who oppose the bad things that people do, blame America for allowing it. America allows people to think for themselves and stand against evil as individuals. My mom was in the 402nd Womans Army Corp Band 1941-1943. She also played in the officer club. She would have loved to see this performance.

Wonderful to see the US Military show their appreciation of a British group that became legendary- at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert last year also opened with their songs and the real Queen tapped her tea cup to start of the concert to introduce the legendary Queen music ❤️👍🏻🇦🇺

C JJ - What is truly amazing is that just FOUR guys, all musical geniuses, wrote and performed all of those songs and so many more and didn't need a choir and orchestra to do it.
To me, that’s what made Queen unique.
No two songs sounded alike.
It was as if every song was sung by a different band.
I was thrilled to hear everyone singing. But seeing people fighting for their lives in a war that never ends, and singing so beautifully, it was exciting, wonderfull, beatif

My dad played trumpet in the base band when he served on Guam and later stateside...these shows are great. I saw one a few years ago, just wonderful.

My dad was stationed in Port Hood, WA during WWII and sang in the local nightclubs as Atlas Jackson Swoon. He's gone now but the memory lingers.
