Thank you so much! We sailed to Cartagena (Colombia) and spent New Years eve 2018 in a restaurant in the streets in the old town. We liked Cartagena very much!
Lovely video again. I love the humour and the history lessons. And ....... the mooring device Frederik didn't know how the English call those? It's a dolphin. Often referred to as a mooring dolphin. Funny, in Dutch it is called a "dukdalf", similar to Swedish "dykdalb".
Thank you for sharing the information 😀 A number of Swedish maritime terms have Dutch origins, so possibly is dykalb origin also Dutch. The Dutch where in Sweden sharing their shipbuilding knowledge, and around 1628 they where involved in building the VASA ship.
@@bushpoint The last I did not know. So many words and sayings are related to seafaring and agriculture. Sort of my love for ethymology. Dukdalf in French and German.......the same.
Thank you! We hope to show more of our summer sailing in the archipelago. There will probably also be videos from our motor cycle trip to North Cape, northern most point in Europe 😊
"Militärövning" heter "exercise" på engelska. Ordet "practice" används i sammanhang som avser något som "tillämpas" eller utförs av en person. Ordet "militärmanöver" kan tillämpas (häpp!...) i direkt översättning och blir då "military maneuver". En modernare mer aktuell terminologi på engelska som används i all officiell kommunikation är "war game".
Always a pleasure
Thank you!
Very lovely videos, greetings from Cartagena-Colombia!

Greetings Bushpoint crew. From your friend on Narragansett Bay...
Thank you our friend and we hope to sail to your bay, last time COVID stopped us 😊
Wherever you two go I want to go as well!
Sailing is really great, also in our home waters, more to come!
