The definition of Dive Everywhere 😂 Your story telling ability never ceases to amaze me 😍 Despite only 1 fish being shot in 25 minutes I was still engaged the entire video. I don't know how you do it, but I guess that's why you're the number 1 spearfishing channel in the world! Also good to know I'm not the only one who still struggles to sleep before big dives haha I absolutely love seeing videos showing the reality behind spearfishing, I think there needs to be more videos like that rather than just killing montages! Looking forward to seeing your next masterpiece 🙂
watching your videos is what got me into spearfishing. I may not be able to dive deep or dive for very long but the feeling of being under the surface and looking back up is a unreal experience that I will never get over and I thank you for getting me interested in it. Shooting fish is great epically one you've been dreaming of but what you see while searching is what I enjoy the most.
I do not know how I ended up here as I am completely foreign to spearfishing let alone fishing and I was captivated by your video from start to finish. Your story telling is really great and the images you shot are breathtaking. Excellent work!
Well done ! Welcome to my world. I live in Norway for years and dive each week. Most impressive is when you need to break the ice to go into the fjords - amazing experience!

Some days we come up short and other we get to put something on the plate. I look forward to more of your experiences. I appreciate your ambition to keep suiting up when so many others would have stayed in the lodge...
That was one of your more enjoyable videos. It's all about the adventure. Keeping it real. Anyone can dive in the tropics, those conditions take a special breed. Nice work man.
Absolute amazing scenery. Camaraderie on such trips will go beyond levels you know. As many others say, 1 fish in 25min but you still keep us engaged the whole way! I always look forward to a new vid. Onya to all 4 for trying in such conditions!
Another great video Daniel! I've been waiting for this one for a long time. I had a similar trip to Lofoten in 2020 - very cold, got sick, caught next to nothing, flight home canceled but nobody had informed us. I needed a few month to digest the trip before I could truly appreciate how memorable an experience it actually was.
Thanks for getting this type of glorious footage. Stay at home mom of 2 here and my mouth dropped open when seeing that bait ball as it came in so focus at first I thought where is it then it focused and it was amazing. I know that moment you were waiting for, for years, was to you worthless but to me just the experience would be a great memory to hold onto. I never let my hopes get higher than I can hold onto. I’ve learned this over the years with loss and many things in life shut not working out. However, I always tell myself now even if my hopes are crushed I can’t let it ruin my day. I have watched my girls get their hopes so high I couldn’t hold on to them but instead of letting them crumble I reach ups no hold on with all I have and try to make the best out of a bad situation. Because even when times are hard or the world is become ugly I can always find beauty within.
If one is fortunate enough to have them, then one discovers that life is about experiences. Otherwise, what’s the point? Whether it’s diving in the frigid temperatures of Norwegian waters that are surrounded by stunning coastline or lying on one’s back in an open field while eye-witnessing spectacular meteor showers in South of France on a hot August night. I’ve the firsthand pleasure of the latter, and was able to enjoy (from the warmth of my flat!) your great adventure. Cheers 🍻, Daniel ! No regrets.
I enjoyed this thoroughly. Your persistence is inspiring. The fact that there was no "happy ending" makes it tense until the end... Great video Dan! Watched it from beginning till the end! This is the real picture of spearfishing for those who think that spearfishing is like a walk to supermarket to grab some fish for the dinner! Best storytelling of the spearfishing trip I have seen! I got same plan for the skrei(large cod), but had no chance to realise it so far. P.s- for such water/weather conditions a full-face neoprene mask is pretty handy to protect exposed face area.
Such a good story of your trip. I really enjoyed it. It gave it a real sense of realism as so many videos just edit best moments together but that's not reality. Thanks for being so honest about the stuff that didn't go to plan. Still looked like an awesome trip with great people that you'll never forget, but maybe for not for the right reasons 😂. Good stuff.
