Side note: a guy can have all these bases covered but if she has red flags none of it matters.
I have every point covered and she still left because, I suspect, she was borderline and I was unaware of the red flags. Lesson learned
Can you explain what you mean by borderline? I know it’s BPD… but what were the signs during the relationship and when it went south?
@@neomacchio4692 extreme emotional disregulation, self destructive behavior, alcohol abuse to an extent. She hid most of the symptoms the first couple years. By the time I realized her symptoms and knew what they were I was already attached and thought I could help/fix her. Stupid on my part I now know

@@mikea1534 absolutely damages the individual on the receiving end. I’m not the same three years later. They say run from BPD people but the worst part is typically regular people don’t know about it until it’s too late. Easier said than done

I’m a firefighter and she left because I’m absent 24 hours at a crack. So you can’t win.
My parents just celebrated their 50th anniversary. My grandparents were together 67yrs.
Might be a generational divide, but I once asked my grandma their secret. She said, "Once we got married, we stopped seeing our single friends socially. When they married, we'd see them again."

Yeah I'm the same height as that guy and I've never had problems getting girls. Even when I was a teenager skinny as a railing bad acne bad fashion I still was able to get girls. It's exponentially easier now that I have a masculine frame and a masculine presence but you don't have to be 6ft tall to get girls guess you really do have to be in shape with useful muscles, not Designer muscles

The fact women can not be loyal by nature tells me I need to just use them for thing. Men try to be good partners, but women can’t.
I lasted 26 years with my ex and we lived together. We obviously did fall apart but I don't think it was because we lived together. I dropped the ball in numerous ways though. And she did mention me being too focused on her. Codependent pretty much. But I think we were good for so long because I was engaged in a lot of hobbies that had me out of the home a decent amount. Landscape and wildlife photography, playing music with friends. It also may have helped that she worked nights, evenings and weekends so we didn't spend all that time together. Now that I think about it I think things started the downward trend when I kinda dropped off my hobbies and the pandemic hit. So we were spending more time together.
I get the idea of living separately but personally I love cuddling with a woman so I'd prefer living with her or at least spending the majority of overnights together.
You can spend the majority of overnights together. I found the key is to have your own residence and only operate out of her place with an overnight bag.
That way, if the bullshit gets too deep and you have to walk, you can be out of her life completely in 10 minutes

I might not even confront her on the bed making… just become less interested, more scarce.

The prix who don't like it, usually find out the hard way. I'm a trained fighter. Grew up in a ring and a world class gymnast. I've lost count of all the times I've been locked up. "Tough guys" are funny, bullies too
