...and on tablets, there's a gear shaped icon - if not 3 dots - in the upper right corner of screen, just tap the screen, it will appear. Tap & find Playback Speed in the list that pops up, tap that, and you can slow video down to one quarter of the speed (or 50%, or only 75%). You need to show the front loop n back loop of the V...n show the bumps on the other side of the V also...n the yarn on the hook doesn't count as a first stitch.. great tutorial ❤
Yes this was helpful but I do need help going to rhe third roll I haven't quite got the hang of going back and forth yet I know I'm not your best friend but I would greatly appreciate it everyone has different learning processes in the way you're taught I haven't been able to learn for some of the other until I came up on your video I am like when I get to the end what am I supposed to do thank you so much.
😮, I really wanted to learn how to crochet so for my bday about 3 months ago my sister got me a beginner's crochet kit, my sister spend the entire day helping me make one single crochet and by the end of the day I got one very long string done, I felt bad cause I have slow learning disability and adhd so when my sister tried to teach me she had to repeat the steps too many times and I kept getting irritated and having mini breakdowns cause I couldn't understand, since then ive made wonderfull strings but I kinda lost hope with crochet and put it to the side for awhile cause I wasnt able to figure out how to make the seconed row, I finally was able to make a second row because of this video, I was only able to do a small 3 inch string of the seconed row cause the yarn I have is super small so I dont think ill be able to continue with the small string I have on to row 3 but im looking forward to buying a yarn that's similar to the one your using and hopfully ill be able to see the loop holes and pull them apart better cause its kinda hard to do that with the yarn I got from the beginner kit, even tho I only was able to do a 3 inch worm of the second row I still feel super proud and satisfied, I finally did it and now I know how to do it again for next time when I get a thicker yarn because of your video, im absolutely gonna follow cause I hope to learn more from you, thank you so so much💞 🎉
Omg thank u so much. But no one told me the minute I had it I automatically felt better than everyone 😂😂 like I will make all our clothes n the apocalypse 😂😂

THANK YOU! I watched So many tutorials to try to make this! You really helped me out. Thank you so so much
You are so welcome! Thank your comment!
This is useful because even though I have been making patterns -and my own stitch- I’m still a beginner and forget a lot of stuff 😅
You are so welcome! Thank you. 💚💚
Thank you! I started crochet yesterday and this was very helpful!!!! I was having trouble at first but now I got it :)
Glad I could help! This is great news. Keep going. It gets easier. 💚
Oh my goodness, thank you so much for this video!!! Such a big help 🙏🏼
You're so welcome! Sorry for the late response. Some of my comments just randomly show up. 💚
OMG!!! TYSMMMM!!! I’ve tried so many videos & then found yours! You explain it so well & show it so clearly! I still have it on the slowest speed but that’s ok! I’m picking up fast! My mom showed me how to do the chain when I was real little but I never knew how to do the next row. I subbed to your channel! Ty again 😁
(Btw, I’m using the same thread & color but also gonna mix in dark grey!)
You're welcome! Thank you for the support. Did you keep going? I hope so. 🙂💚
@@AhselAnneCrochet I did but messed up & took it all apart 😆 but I made a different one & got that one done. Gonna work on the same color one again soon. Thanks again!!
This is great and helpful for newbies. Thanks so much for sharing. 🥰❤️
Thank you. I hope this helps her some.💚
I’m not sure if this is even the right stitch for the scarf kit I bought elsewhere but this is the first damn second chain video I was able to follow.
haha 🙂. This comment made me laugh out loud...haha. I'm glad you were able to follow this stitch and it will work perfectly for a scarf (despite the kit's instructions).
Sorry for the delay in responding. I'm just now seeing this comment. Did your figure it out?
that explained a lot more than other videos i've watched
Cool. Thanks 🙂
I love how the video is so clear
Thank you!
Can you please make a tutorial for the third row also as a begginer in crochet this video is very helpful
Okay. I will. I meant to do it already but I got busy. I'll try to have it posted tomorrow or next day. 🙂
Hello, th-cam.com/video/XAN9_Nq4zeE/w-d-xo.html I just posted another video. Hopefully this one will help. 🙂💚
This helped so much, thank you!
You're welcome! Thank you for your comment. 💚
😮, I really wanted to learn how to crochet so for my bday about 3 months ago my sister got me a beginner's crochet kit, my sister spend the entire day helping me make one single crochet and by the end of the day I got one very long string done, I felt bad cause I have slow learning disability and adhd so when my sister tried to teach me she had to repeat the steps too many times and I kept getting irritated and having mini breakdowns cause I couldn't understand, since then ive made wonderfull strings but I kinda lost hope with crochet and put it to the side for awhile cause I wasnt able to figure out how to make the seconed row, I finally was able to make a second row because of this video, I was only able to do a small 3 inch string of the seconed row cause the yarn I have is super small so I dont think ill be able to continue with the small string I have on to row 3 but im looking forward to buying a yarn that's similar to the one your using and hopfully ill be able to see the loop holes and pull them apart better cause its kinda hard to do that with the yarn I got from the beginner kit, even tho I only was able to do a 3 inch worm of the second row I still feel super proud and satisfied, I finally did it and now I know how to do it again for next time when I get a thicker yarn because of your video, im absolutely gonna follow cause I hope to learn more from you, thank you so so much💞 🎉
Thank you for the playback speed hack. Maybe it is old but I didn't know lol. Great info!!!
Glad it was helpful! I use it often when I'm trying to learn something new. 💚
