Playing one of my favorite Metallica songs, Blackened from the album ...And Justice For All. I recorded the audio from my Line 6 spider II amp plugged straight into my computer and it's a bit scratchy but I'm saving for a new amp, haha. I then made a video of me playing it and left in the video's audio too so you're hearing what I'm playing as well.
My guitar is an ESP M-II, it is not a Kirk Hammett signature but it is the same model.

same here I started at 11 on acoustic then jumped on to metal and playing by ear then went to Metallica and slayer. playing as I grew up and in high school I was in talent shows and graduated and still playing. I 10000% agree with ya.

as a guitarist myself, who spent almost a year trying to learn this song, perfectly, you seem to do this with just the utmost of ease, and it's truly amazing your gift--sounds amazing, and I bow to your awesome skills.
From a true Metallica fan who's been to seven of their shows, I wish Kirk could play this cleanly on stage. I'm not taking away from his chops and I know a sold out auditorium under hot lights is different. I just know you nailed it.

Maybe he could, with a drummer who's able to play cleanly at least 10 seconds of this song. But we'll never know.

I kind of agree, but in Kirk's defense he is playing an entire set, under hot lights, on a large stage with an earbud plugged into the monitor. Hard to hear the rest of the band sometimes.
Kirk can hear the entire band perfectly with his monitors. They have the most high end monitors money can buy. He has been playing metal since the 80's there is no excuse for sloppy playing when you've played the same song for that many years. There are bands with higher technical precision metal that are tighter and play their songs perfectly in huge stages with those hot lights.

I typed in “Kirk Hammett Blackened”, got this instead, and was completely satisfied to not continue my search. Absolutely perfect cover-amazing. Can’t do it yet myself.

I saw that vibrato you put on a powerchord about half way through and I really like that. Not many people put vibrato on powerchord but I love doing it and it's nice to see other people who do it as well. I think I heard somewhere that Kurt Cobain did it as well so that's pretty cool.

Holy crap…I remember getting Justice album for Christmas in 1988. I was a senior in High School listening to this album over and over again during Xmas break while building a model Chevelle.

Blackened is my absolute favorite Metallica song. I've been listening to it for almost 16 years. I've heard every cover, and every remix. Your video is one that I have found myself coming back to, from time to time. Great job. Not just here, but even in your other videos. I'm happy to see you're still rocking on.

Very amazing guitarist, but you didn't play the 6th fret on the low e string every other time. You just kept doing 7 7 787 7 7 787 (8 on 4th string).

Hard Rock and Heavy Metal runs through my blood since I was 8 years old when I started listening to my favorite band AC / DC .Now I am 55 years old !!! Metallica opened my mind to other styles and Blackened is one of my favorite songs.I think Metal runs through your blood too so keep going!!! Cizzie is the gold standard in these Metallica covers. As an irrelevant sidebar, I love that she has no visible tattoos. She does not need a decoration to make her cool. She has the skills from within. She may have been born in the wrong decade. Modern music does not have a lot of the shredding that she excels at. I wonder if she enjoys "pop" guitar.

As an ageing rocker, it is so heartening to see someone so young, especially a girl so awesomely talented and who hasn't been brainwashed by the fake and blasphemous so-called music industry today and the manufactured garbage it churns out to distract each new generation from `real' music with `real' actual musicians and songwriters. Well done Cizzie. Now, you have a much bigger task to do. Don't let your amazing talent go to waste. If you aren't already in a band, form one yourself or inspire your generation to reject the fake garbage they are constantly being fed.
