This car comes with a 2.0 litre TurboCharged Engine called N20 which is prone to Timing Chain Failure, Stay tuned to see what's gone wrong.

If it blew while doing donuts my guess is oil starvation the n20 had very weak oil pumps the easy answer is get a baffled oil pan navardi tuning sells them
The engine was already on it's way out. However new oil pump & upgraded oil pan are part of the rebuild man. Thanks!

Long story short, these N20s aren't meant to do that unless they have been built properly but you need a lot of, a lot of $ to do it right. Had to flash back to stock on my stage 2 N20. Car was experiencing pinging even on Ron97 and this is the last thing I want to happen to me 😅

I have one but I never drift btw it is rear wheel drive and I full press the dsc button😢😢
DSC totally off, it's actually not that hard. You need to play with the pedal and find the proper rev range to get the most torque out of the engine to break traction.

Not gonna sell it, and I've already bought another car as a daily 🤫 So I guess now we can rebuild this better, and do some crazy stuff with it that I couldn't do before! Cause with this rebuild, I'm gonna make sure the engine is built better than it came from the factory!

Lol 😂 if you get a well maintained BMW, you're gonna be golden. Problem is most people buy these cars, drive them like BMWs, and maintain them like their average beater car. That's why people like me end up with complete shitboxes to fix 😂😂

It's a good choice if you get a well maintained unit and have money aside for maintenance 👌🏼
