Just got a 2025 Crosstrek Sport this past weekend. I absolutely love it so far! It's honestly pretty peppy, and I'm enjoying the way it feels on the road. Handles beautifully.

The Canadian version of the 2024 Crosstrek Limited has a sunroof and is built in Japan. Otherwise, the 2025 is identical. Can't wait for the first snowstorm.
I own a 2021 Sport.Love the gas mileage especially in summer.No wind with ac on 33 Mpg easy at 80 Mph.I wanted to trade on a Wilderness but do not like the final drive ratio.The new sport is not for me either.The Limited is kind of inviting.I would like 17 inch wheels instead.Sunburst pearl will be my choich.Will see.BTW nice video explaining everything.

I love the new crosstrek limited , wheels nice , engine better but why with the orange under the black seats I could live with trim but not the seat inserts that are orange I have new heard of quality of leather having orange inserts

Me too! Drives me crazy. When I buy a car, I get that removed.
Wish they get rid of that stop/start features. I have a 2021 limited I had to buy a separate auto stop start eliminator to turn it off completely.
That is a wasted feature. At les leave it off and who ever wants it can turn it on.

They give the option to turn that off now.
So the dealership will turn off now for you for good cuz there is a switch That turns it off but when your car turns off it automatically turns back on again

Bought the Wilderness for additional ground clearance and 3500 pound tow capacity.

I would consider one made in Japan. Only issues based on this is the larger screen and the orange stitching. Have 23 Forester. Looking at Outback, my hesitation is Indiana.
All of the internals are still made in Japan, it's just the final assembly that is conducted in Indiana.
Anybody: how is Crosstrek outward visibility? The Forester has been great, but it's gotten so big.
The 2025 Base and Premium trims will still be assembled in the Gunma, Japan, factory. This is according to Subaru's press release this past October. So, if you want the 2.5L engine in a Crosstrek assembled in Japan, the Premium trim would be the one to get.
Still no heated steering wheel for 2025.
I’ve heard people say that the crosstrek engine will shutter or vibrate at upper speeds. Also at this price, I would think about getting an Outback or Forester. Why is smaller vehicle so expensive?

@ there’s only a $1200 increase between a non hybrid Toyota vs a hybrid one. I suspect this won’t be much different and I’d gladly pay just for the smoother more reliable drive train.
No "Limited", we want you to review BASE models we might be able to afford!

I’m a 72yo retiree and I would never buy a ‘base’ anything. I’ve always gone for the higher level models.
The base, STILL have the 2.0. The 2.5 is why we chose the premium trim. It needs a Power liftgate. We have a 2020 Forester premium trim. And it has the powered liftgate.
Wheel lock $177 ?????????!!!! corrupt dealership.
