    I am a Spanish speaker, I don't know how to speak English, the TH-cam translator helps me a lot to understand, I have learned more with Sorin watching his videos than other Spanish-speaking technical channels; Thank you Sorin for being very didactic and an excellent teacher

      It's so impressive how these translation tools give us access to content from all over the world. The fact that I can understand comments from people speaking other languages is so fascinating to me.

      @pepeluis670: If I feel too forced (work, shopping, a visit abroad) I speak English (with a Spanish accent or tone and I see the faces of my interlocutors... (laughs). Another way of saying it, since I don't want to lose any detail or sense of some word during the conversation in another language, I watch the videos twice, the second time in my mother tongue and with a notebook in hand. A brotherly greeting (we speak the same language).

    Sorin, love your videos and keep up with the good work, however, I'm a bit sceptical on using plain tap water on electronics. When I did electronics back in the day I was told to use de-ionised or distilled water to avoid mineral deposits on the contacts of the electronics and short when water evaporates. Well done mate! Bravo 🎉

      Just look at Adrian Black from Adrian's Digital Basement who is washing all his computer motherboards with tap water, just putting them under the shower. You can see that for a brief second in any of his videos, in the Intro. No problems so far and he washed hundreds or maybe thousands of them. He talked about this and showed the process in some of his videos. And he is not the only one who is doing this. Maybe tap water is not the perfect way to clean, but it's working. A isopropyl alcohol rinse after washing it's advised.

      Tap water is fine. Repaired hundred cashregister mainboards that had liquide damage (pubs).
      The trick is the drying, we always used compressed air to blow away the water an dry the pcb.

    I had a 25mm chain gun in the US Navy that stopped working and I suggested to my shipmates it was the blackbox that was faulty. We say blackbox because its hands off. I open it to find salt water inside. A good rinse in fresh water for awhile and a nice hot hair dryer and the bullets were flying again.

    How did the sound chip die? One possibility is there was liquid damage, it just wasn't that noticeable. Another is that while the board was being washed some of the sugar solution from the cola or whatever it was got under that chip. But ultimately - who knows? Great video.

    (16:25 - 16:35) In this case, the thermal camera leaves no room for doubt: IC TAS5770ACO running HOT but without its previous fault analysis work... PCB "doesn't know how to float"? • @CarlosGarcia-d3e
      @CarlosGarcia-d3e ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AzuaraRuiz-md1bi : Thanks for the info. I went to check the mouser page and you're right (3.32 bucks), the only thing that puzzled me was that when I downloaded the datasheet (right there on the mouser page) it references this part number TAS2770. I saw the schematic for each terminal and it corresponds to a 30 pin IC that uses reballing like the one in the video. Another way of saying it, so TAS5770LCOYFFR = TAS2770 (they are pin to pin equivalent) and both made by Texas Instrument. Again, thanks for your answer because it makes us investigate (deeper) and that's how you learn. Motherboard? Yes, it is very expensive (prohibitive). All the best.

    Hola Sorin , soy de Argentina y me llegó para reparar un equipo igual A2338 , por derrame de líquido, el dueño trato de encenderla varias veces y luego de funcionar 5 min se apagó. Cuando la abrí, se veía como esa, conseguí limpiar todo . Pero el conector de power Charger estaba en corto, así que quité el conector ,para mí sorpresa está quemado en el motherboard, logré retirar los pines en corto , y encendió. Pero ahora no carga la batería y en la pantalla sobre el lado inferior izquierdo hay como una mancha. Puedo preguntar dónde descargaste el esquemático?? Desde ya muchas gracias. Estoy aprendiendo mucho contigo!!

Warm the shaft of the toothbrush just the other side of the bristles with the hairdryer without burning your fingers. The toothbrush will bend and you can get up to a 90 degree angled head. Send your MacBook to Louis Rossman, he will charge you 1200 dollars and replace the amplifier. Sorin got this job from a local "repair" shop. That means fixed fee. Probably 60 pounds or less. He cant waste time in replacing that stupid chip. He did his job. The MacBook is turning on. The customer can recover his data.
