Wow, your message about self image and how it's influenced by our parents is so powerful! Thank you for mentioning the importance of what we are taught about ourselves in childhood. So many people don't realize thats the root and reason for their struggles. I never knew Jennifer had such a hard relationship with her mother, I hope she was able to work through it with a therapist. Sending much love from germany!
“This little girl that’s wanting to be seen and wanting to be loved by mom who was too occupied with things that didn’t matter” I keep repeating that to 9:44. It feels so reassuring to hear that from someone you’ll never expect to say those things yet anticipate the person you’ve meaning to hear this from.
Her mother was stunning in her youth, but had a kind of predictable beauty, we’ve all seen it before. But jennifer has a very unique beauty that’s both girl-next-door and impossibly glowy and ethereal at the same time. She has great hair, skin and teeth, arguably the most important hallmarks of beauty she has perfection of.
Me too. Even before surgery she is cute as all heck! Her mom I just ... meh. Not memorable and uptight looking. Jennifer was and is absolutely stunningly beautiful!
I think Jennifer is striking!! She really is the "whole package". If I was her mom, and she was my daughter I would be so proud. I think having that hardship with her mom made her stronger in life and who she is today. Someone who is real, honest and personable.
Honestly to me, I always thought she looked very pedestrian. She has really pretty eye color but to me I would never stop in tracks to stare at her but she's a great actress and has done a lot of great work
I love the balance she strikes in terms of anti aging procedures and still showing herself ageing organically. Very important lesson. I wouldn't wanna look 21 when I'm 50 coz... Growing older is actually quite sexy☺️ I'd just wanna look like a smouldering 50.
I loved that bit of advice at the end of the video! I love how you encourage people to love themselves and do their actions based on their own needs and perception of themselves and not others
I wonder about Gigi hadid... she looks so natural but if I learned anything from your videos it’s that the best work is done very subtly and only noticeable upon inspection. I hope you consider doing a video about her!
I have a narcissistic mother too. Thank you for your compassionate approach to everything in this video. For the longest time in my life I was insecure of my facial and bodily features. I have come a long way from where I was in terms of self love but sometimes that self critical voice still emerges and when it does I gently remind myself that it's my mom's insecurities and not mine that are coming through that voice.
Your content reminds me of Shallon Lester’s. But instead of basing your statements on your own feelings about the celebrity, you use evidence, such as Jennifer’s quote about her mom, and don’t claim to have all the answers. Keep up the amazing work❤️
Her content is nothing like Shallon. Not even close enough to compare. The only common factor is celebrities. But the topics regarding them, the objective of the channel and the delivery are miles apart.
Bianca Michelle From the perspective i look at things, the similarities go a bit deeper than just celebrities. Both Shallon and Lorry ultimately give their viewers a “takeaway” through their content (or that’s how Shallon portrays it at the least). They both manage to entertain the viewer with the topic of celebrities, some of the most admired people in society, while simultaneously informing the viewer about a particular message. These messages are very different, no denying that; but they way that the use celebrities as in order to deliver them is what makes Lorry’s channel remind me of Shallon’s.
There was an interview she did with The Breakfast Club I think where she stated she was very insecure and got "everything" done. Booty, teeth, nose, fillers and yet she's still insecure...she was beautiful before and after but it's sad that what we think will make us happy does not fulfill us.
What I really love about your approach is that you never dehumanise the ppl you analyze (what unfortunately happens so often in social media) That you even mention her mother and the issue of toxic parenting habits. I'm not really into plastic surgery but your vids are just so informative and full of good energy 💛
I will say, as much as I love Jennifer, I really hate when celebrities try to pass off obvious nose jobs as “I had a deviated septum”. We hear it. ALL THE TIME.
Yeah Kate Beckinsale is a beauty but between the first Underworld and its latest installment, as well as some of her newer work, there's some changes but I just kept thinking she just got older.
I really liked your comment about Jennifer being the "girl next door" women could relate to. Angelina Jolie on the other hand is generally hated on by women because of her extraordinary beauty
Maybe for some this is true but to be honest you have to remember not everyone likes Angelinas look. Some women and men probably think a softer look like Jennifer Aniston is actually prettier too
This is so true. They are both attractive in completely different ways 🥰 Jennifer is approachable, cute and pretty. Her looks and personality are relatable so a lot of non-famous women look up to her. Angelina is hot, stunning and intimidating. She’s a very rare beauty and it’s less relatable; more unattainable. Because they are completely different you can’t really compare the two, and you shouldn’t anyways
@Charles. In all fairness. Angelina Jolie has had quite a bit of work done herself so guess what? She's not the true beauty you think she is either. I guess the only ones that are the true beauties are the Christy Turlingtons!! Who never had a needle, scalpel or knife near that gorgeous face!
Hating on other people because they are beautiful is not healthy, we as women need to stop doing it. A lot of them do not feel beautiful due to it. I was bullied because I was the fat kid with glasses, when I got older, lost the weight and got contacts, I felt no different because the hatred was still there but for a different reason.
She's so beautiful! I always wondered about her chin. It's something I noticed, but could never figure out. I actually think her chin looked better before. Beautiful either way, though. Can't believe her mother didn't think she was beautiful, she's always looked beautiful imo.
Maybe it’s because she looks a lot like her Father. Jennifer Anniston’s parents divorced when she was young and sometimes the bad feelings the ex has towards the other can be amplified if the child bears a strong resemblance to one parent either in looks or personality. Just my two cents.
I love Jennifer Aniston! She seems so cool and laid back. I started using Aveeno when she became there spokeswoman. Seeing her nose before surgery gives me hope I can fix mine. Also, you look even prettier than usual!

I love that you talked about the parents voice in your head at the end. That was so kind to mention that a parent's criticism is a projection. It is very important to get that message through. I can not believe Jennifer would ever say she was not stunning. She is absolutely stunning!
Thank you for the comment about how parent's insecurity can influence child. My mum said so many times that she thought that I will need rhinoplasty straight after my birth. That made me believe my nose is my biggest flaw. Now I am in early 30s and I am starting to realise, there's nothing wrong with my nose. I think Jennifer made mistake with surgery of her chin. @@LorryHill Thank you. I am grateful for being poor and not doing any changes on my nose, because I have a feeling that Greek noses will be back in fashion 🙂

How have the skincare procedures you list mitigated the damage of years of smoking and sun exposure that J.A. subjected her skin to? In general, so many of the celebrities you’ve discussed are smokers so it would be interesting to learn how the effects of long term smoking on appearance are addressed by cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists. Sun exposure, too.

Hi Lorry, this was another great video. Hearing that story about Jennifer's mom made me think about Bella Hadid and her mom Yolanda, she seems like that type of mother. Kids need uplifting parents, not the those who put them down.
She doesn't seem happy with her cheeks and always tries to hide them with her hair for some reason. Her hair functions like a curtain, which shows her smile, her eyes, and very little of her cheeks. She was naturally pretty with a nice face.
Lorry Hill 🤣🤣🤣🤣 No, you seriously look really radiant.... It looks like something from within for sure... Happiness, skin, food.... Whatever it is, it surely is showing! You look sooo pretty and you are such a beautiful person inside! Sometimes I want to be mean because being nice is overrated and you remind me how beautiful it is to be a beautiful person inside 🌸❤️
I think Jen's face was starting to look a bit filler puffy at one point but it has reduced. I remember under the eye it looked like the cheek extended to the eye. I am interested in Margot Robbie. She's had good work done. My boyfriend used to say "you two have the same bulldog cheeks" (endearingly...is that possible lol) when she was on 'neighbours' in Australia. But now her cheeks are high with no nasolabial lines and her chin seems to have grown. She used to be my doppelganger but now we are more like cousins lol.

So many people don't realize thats the root and reason for their struggles. I never knew Jennifer had such a hard relationship with her mother, I hope she was able to work through it with a therapist. Sending much love from germany!
I’m so glad that part was ok! Thank you Emiliana ♥️
I really like your delivery of these topics ... you have a soft relaxing voice.
Thank you Wendy ♥️
Plz do dove cameron !!!
omg yesss

“This little girl that’s wanting to be seen and wanting to be loved by mom who was too occupied with things that didn’t matter” I keep repeating that to 9:44. It feels so reassuring to hear that from someone you’ll never expect to say those things yet anticipate the person you’ve meaning to hear this from.
I know; it’s sad and surreal
Honestly, I prefer Jennifer's look to her mother's.
I disagree, her mom is stunning. I find Jennifer looks more like her father.

Me too. Jennifer is stunning
You're so kind and soft, people like you are so rare!! I'm so happy I found this channel
Aww that’s so kind !
Love to see your son at the end of your utubes.
I think Jennifer is striking!! She really is the "whole package". If I was her mom, and she was my daughter I would be so proud. I think having that hardship with her mom made her stronger in life and who she is today. Someone who is real, honest and personable.
Jen is so cute!
PLEASE do Gwen Stefani!! She looks like a completely different woman!
I will !
Lorry Hill thanks, Larry, I can’t wait! I love your videos!
Agree! What she's done to her mouth alone is worth a whole video LOL
Honestly to me, I always thought she looked very pedestrian. She has really pretty eye color but to me I would never stop in tracks to stare at her but she's a great actress and has done a lot of great work
I've never gotten the appeal of her, either. Very plain Jane to me...
Only a man could write an idiotic comment like this, pedestrian? You plonker
@Jean Genie I always found her masculine looking too
@@fardiachowdhury9758 then what does feminine look like to you. Wow, this is gonna make me really insecure now
I don't think she was overly pretty naturally, but she has had very nice work done.
Add Jane Fonda to your list please. She looks so graceful even at this age. Though she has had things done to herself.
Also, Elizabeth Hurley. Please!
So glad you liked that part !
I wonder about Gigi hadid... she looks so natural but if I learned anything from your videos it’s that the best work is done very subtly and only noticeable upon inspection. I hope you consider doing a video about her!
@@riorio745 Lorry made a video on gigi she's completely natural
@@jjasmineluv Both Bella and Gigi have had surgery, it's clear to see. Just Google to see before and after pics.
@@funinthekitchen844 ik bella had surgery I didn't know abt gigi tho since her vid said she's completely natural
Keep up the amazing work❤️
Jordyn Barron-Walker Lorry is never mean! In fact she is so sweet and speaks with empathy. The other person, however...
Hell no shallon Lester is so rude on her videos shallon Lester and Lorry are very diff
I really like the positivity and how lorry talks about them with nice words
I’m very curious about SZA because there are many rumors that she did get surgery
Most likely if she did it would start with her nose no offense
She’s had loads done but her drastic weight loss helped cover it up but she definitely has had some tweaks - she looks great though
I’m pretty sure she did. Her face looks drastically different. Especially in the eye area.
There was an interview she did with The Breakfast Club I think where she stated she was very insecure and got "everything" done. Booty, teeth, nose, fillers and yet she's still insecure...she was beautiful before and after but it's sad that what we think will make us happy does not fulfill us.
she def did
What I really love about your approach is that you never dehumanise the ppl you analyze (what unfortunately happens so often in social media) That you even mention her mother and the issue of toxic parenting habits. I'm not really into plastic surgery but your vids are just so informative and full of good energy 💛
Aww thank you ; that means a lot to me ❤️
@@LorryHill omg thank you for your reply. Yes your work is much appreciated 😭💛
She's an amazing example of having work done but not looking "done" - she looks amazing and natural xo
love that you discussed body surgeries as well. you should do more of these :)
I will !
I will say, as much as I love Jennifer, I really hate when celebrities try to pass off obvious nose jobs as “I had a deviated septum”. We hear it. ALL THE TIME.
Megan Fox and Kate beckinsale next
yes, megan definitely had some eye and nose work and lip filler too
Megan looks like a completely different person. Still beautiful, just different
Yes Megan has had so much done
Yeah Kate Beckinsale is a beauty but between the first Underworld and its latest installment, as well as some of her newer work, there's some changes but I just kept thinking she just got older.
She still looks so naturally beautiful. I honestly didn’t see any difference
I'm not seeing it either. She looks identical to her youngest pics, just older.
Can you do Caitlyn Jenner? I think feminizing surgeries are super interesting
That would be really interesting
Pleasee, also Gigi Gorgeous or Laverne Cox
Diana Muller Thies Gigi has talked about all her surgeries. She’s had a looooot.
@VV hmm maybe ! I’ll add her to my research
I never thought a plastic surgery channel would make me feel better about my own appearance. So educational and interesting to watch :)
Angelina Jolie is a goddess
She's so beautiful! I always wondered about her chin. It's something I noticed, but could never figure out. I actually think her chin looked better before. Beautiful either way, though. Can't believe her mother didn't think she was beautiful, she's always looked beautiful imo.
Maybe it’s because she looks a lot like her Father. Jennifer Anniston’s parents divorced when she was young and sometimes the bad feelings the ex has towards the other can be amplified if the child bears a strong resemblance to one parent either in looks or personality. Just my two cents.
@Mortal Silence it's her personality and her sense of humour.
I like her chin before, too.
I love Jennifer Aniston! She seems so cool and laid back. I started using Aveeno when she became there spokeswoman. Seeing her nose before surgery gives me hope I can fix mine.
Also, you look even prettier than usual!
Aww thanks so much ❤️
I use aveeno bc of her too lol!
PLUM THUM It’s good? What you think? (I love Jennifer’s skin) 🙈
@@anonimotion yes, I like the lotion because there's no strong fragrance. also not greasy. it melts into your skin. I use the daily face moisturizer too. 😉
Please reconsider using Aveeno. They're not cruelty free.
The kardashian’s!!!!! Always wondered what Kim and kourtney have done to their face
who's got that many *hours* to watch those videos? :P

Technically Angelina Jolie has a masculine face with her jaw structure
Can we please get an analysis for Emma Watson’s face?

You have the sweetest tone of voice. Maybe I’m pms-ing but your little speech about parental projection touched me. Thank you for another great video.
Aww thank you Amanda 💕🥰
I love how Jennifer Aniston gives off the low-key, girl next door, kind of vibe❤️
Obsessed with ALL of your videos!! But most importantly I really love how much time you put into researching and understanding your subject. I respect how you boost them up and talk about why or how they decided to get surgery. You come from a place of education and not judgment and that shows immense maturity and apathy in you. I also noticed your decision to relate with your viewers by giving us some words of affirmation and encouragement. You truly are a breath of fresh air and I look forward to all your future content. You're amazing!!
Aww this means so much to me; how kind of you to write this to me; thank you so much 🥰
@@LorryHill I may be kind but I'm also honest and I feel like beautiful women who are also sweet (like you) get a lot of backlash. So I just wanted to pay it forward and be a voice of authentic and organic positivity.
You look so great in this video Lorry, I swear, you're glowing! I think definitely a big part of Jennifer's appeal is that she looks so warm and welcoming, and according to those who know her her personality is like that too. She just seems like a really nice, lovable woman.
Thank you Caterina (love your name) totally agree; I started liking her more doing this video ♥️
I honestly appreciate that she does little things here and there, but knows well enough what overdoing it- and trying to correct every wrinkle will do. It's refreshing looking at her and seeing that she has crows feet, and some fine lines- but still looks stunning.
Very true about mom's insecurities being projected on their daughter... My mother does this to me... But iv overcome it... Well it is atleast a good lesson iv learnt how to be a mother to my own daughter if I have one!!
Thanks Lorry, as usual loved this video. Knowing that all these celebrities had plastic surgery is having a positive effect on my self esteem. I've always loved Jen Aniston, and I knew she had plastic surgery. I think what surprised me the most was the yearly skincare upkeep -- $32K?? That's a lot more expensive than a bottle of Aveeno!
Lol; right ? I think another secret to her skin is that she spray tans which is less $$
Love your videos, how you're not even calling out diets by name, and your overall positivity. One of my fave channels!
Aww thank you !
I would love it if you did a video about some kpop stars, koreans are known for plastic surgery but somehow idols always claim they have nothing done or don't talk about it.

I LOVE what you said about parent-child relations. Thank you for being so kind!
Can you do a video on Taylor Swift?
I believe she's completely natural but want to know your opinion about it...
AFC She has veneers.
same!
Lip fillers, and her eyes look like she’s had subtle work done.
seeingyouaround she recovered from an eating disorder, so it’s unfair to compare her body
AFC I have seen photos of her from 13/14 and she looks the same, just older now
She looked perfect before surgery and she looks perfect now. Lovely look even now.
I love that you talked about the parents voice in your head at the end. So much of the ways we want to augment ourselves in the present whether it’s our looks or our personality comes from that seeking of latent approval that we never got from our parents. 💛 Kudos to you for opening up this very important conversation.

So this photo kept coming up for Nancy Dow; I saw one website reference Kovack if you look at Jen’s baby photo with her mom there is a huge likeness to her either way. I found it really strange that her mom was a successful model but with no photos anywhere of her modeling ?!?

That was so kind to mention that a parent's criticism is a projection. It is very important to get that message through. I can not believe Jennifer would ever say she was not stunning. She is absolutely stunning!
I like how Jennifer doesn't exaggerate natural features like most celebrities.
It was such an amazing face feature that really made her stand out. It's sad how Hollywood pressure people to fit in, rather than being authentic
Aww that’s simply awful; I’m sorry you went through that ♥️
@@LorryHill Thank you. I am grateful for being poor and not doing any changes on my nose, because I have a feeling that Greek noses will be back in fashion 🙂

I love that quote from Peggy. I love how positive you are. Your videos are amazing, Lorry. I'm excited every time you upload
That’s a good question!
I am so glad that she isn’t “overdone”. I only hope she won’t go for some other crazy procedure, like many celebs do and then look like completely different people.
P.S. Nicole Kidman please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi Lorry, this was another great video. Hearing that story about Jennifer's mom made me think about Bella Hadid and her mom Yolanda, she seems like that type of mother. Kids need uplifting parents, not the those who put them down.
You’re so right; Bella was my first video of this theme so I didn’t know her situation like I do now -it’s unfortunate!
Came back to this vid bc I really want an update on Jen! Seeing her recent Allure cover. 😄 Ily Lorry
She doesn't seem happy with her cheeks and always tries to hide them with her hair for some reason. Her hair functions like a curtain, which shows her smile, her eyes, and very little of her cheeks.

It’s sad Jennifer mom was hard on her looks because she is naturally so beautiful 🥰
I can tell she takes very good care of herself
