I always assumed The Avengers group together when Fury unites them (at least in the first Saga) and he hasn't in the socond Saga, which has been what's making things like US Agent AKA former Captain America (unfortunately) try to take up the mantle and what will lead to _Thunderbolts_ happenning. In terms of moments the Avengers have been mentioned the big one for me wasn't mentioned: Fury mentioning in not understandable vagueness why he wasn't calling on them. It would be so much easier to say Special election, but that would go against laws up the wazoo concerning the presidental election. I think the blip moving the election cycle is really going to be the only valid answer to make everything fit and still be more closely tied to other events more currently going on rather than a two year gap. Personally, I like the whiter outfit over the bluer one as its another way to set him apart from Steve, but I also just think it looks cooler, imho. I think the reference in She-Hulk about Tiamut counts. It just doesn't answer any questions.

@@AbitofEverything4U I couldn't remember the exact wording other than remembering the quote made me, at the time, think it was the reason behind why the Avengers band together each time, officially. I didn't know which episode it was in or who he said it to.
With Japan seemingly having a big role in the story, I wonder if we may get a tease at one of Japan's superheroes either in the movie or as an end-credit stinger? If they're gearing up for X-Men, a character like Silver Samurai would be a neat inclusion.
This might be a wild theory, but I think the funeral is for Ross and either his death was faked (and maybe blamed on Japan) in order to introduce this new hulk. Alternatively he could have died and is brought back to life somehow with She-Hulk’s blood, but because he was dead when injected he is red instead of green.
Yeah, I agree, the lighting was great...and so was the pacing and the editing. It was a really good trailer. February is gonna be a great month in the movie theaters!
My off the cuff theory is that Giancarlo Esposito isn’t playing a villain. He’s played so many villains I feel like when joining the MCU he wouldn’t want to do the same thing again. I’m thinking that Ross being RH may actually not be revealed right away. Like in the comics. Maybe they think Ross was killed or taken by RH, and attempt to save him. By the end we find out him and the Leader were in cahoots. And the mysterious Giancarlo mercenary that’s been following them is actually a good guy the whole time. He was fighting Sam because Sam was on Ross’s side initially. Giancarlo can be former SHIELD, maybe Jake Fury or GW Bridge or any other similar character we haven’t seen on screen before.
@@MrGeoff-iv6re captain America the winter soldier parallels too. The older mentor having a fake out death. In TWS it was Fury, this time it could be Ross. But this in version, Ross would ultimately play an Alexander Pierce type role. Also, the mysterious mercenary that’s following them and trying to stop them? In TWS it was the winter soldier and in this movie it’s Giancarlo. Also, The former black widow that joins the fight when shit gets real- no explanation needed here, seems like we’re getting a direct parallel of this. Even down to the opening of this movie seeming to be the mentioned Mexico fight. In TWS it was the Lemurian Star fight. I think looking at those potential parallels could be a good way to theorize what’s going to happen in this movie. They had a winning a formula and I bet the reshoots were to ensure they follow the formula that TWS set up more closely, to help establish the new Captain America.

If you look at Sam’s white suit, it is not the same one from Falcon and the Winter Soldier it is a newer more streamlined version as it does not have the connected head piece that wraps up the side of his head and across the front, it’s stops at his normal shirt line at the base of his neck and he is just wearing goggles. Personally I hope this gets at least a bit of screen time because I liked the white it was just the head wrap that made it a little goofy in live action personally I think the tweak here removing that makes it perfect and I’m sad to see it go 😢

I do believe you are right about this taking place in spring. The Cherry Blossoms also hint at it being in spring as in Washington DC they typically only bloom late March to early April.

The Avengers only appeared a few times as an team to fight a threat. Against Loki in NY, to retrieve the scepter from Strucker, to stop Bonecrusher, fight Thanos and to reverse the blip. It’s almost like they’re a group of friends who meet up at an class reunion every couple of years.
Very good point… Yeah, I think they are kind of like a group that gets together when the threat arises and then otherwise heads home to their separate lives. I think the reason we see so much conversation from other characters asking where the avengers are is due to their public presence having been missing for over three years. And after losing black widow, Iron Man, and Captain America I suspect the public feels like the team just isn’t meeting anymore. So it’ll be nice to see them having a public presence once again.

Great observation. Yeah, it does seem to be a recurring them. In a world of super-heroes and super-villains, I suspect it makes sense that it would happen quite often. Even Winter Soldier dealt with SHIELD being compromised, so it's another major institution that was taken over from inside. Wild stuff!
This film looks so good (not story wise, but it looks alright to) it looks so visually different and has such a different ascetic, like the cherry trees which looks so different than most other films

Man, I'm more than hyped for this movie. Deadpool & Wolverine has sounded and looked great from the start, Agatha All Along shows promise, and Brave New World looks amazing. It may be a little jam packed, but I'm hopeful it all works out. This movie is going to make or break the MCU with how many connections it appears to have going on because if this movie fails, we're in trouble.
I totally agree...Brave New World has the chance to either unify the MCU and really get fans excited or has the chance to sink things if it isn't good. But that trailer sure makes me think it will be a huge success!

This was the most excited I'd gotten seeing a new MCU trailer in a long time! I'm really looking forward to Brave New World, for all the same reasons you mentioned toward the end there, all the tie-ins with various other MCU loose threads going way back to the Incredible Hulk, and more recently with She-Hulk, Eternals, Falcon&WS, Secret Invasion, etc. The MCU has needed this for a long time! And yeah, I'm really curious to know who this new character is that Giancarlo Esposito is playing! I have to say, back when I saw the first released photos of Harrison Ford as Ross, I wasn't entirely sure if he would convincingly play the same character, but seeing him in the trailer and hearing his voice, you can tell he studied William Hurt's performances as the character, and I'd say he's pulled it off rather nicely.
So many things to be excited about for the new movie. That trailer really got me pumped. And I agree, Harrison Ford seems like he’s going to do a fantastic job. I suspect William Hurt would be honored by the performance, as I think you are right that Ford really studied Hurt’s take on the character.
I'm definitely excited to see TBN as Leader finally, I'd guess if some of the Jets that Sam goes harder on are ones controlled by leader, and I like how Sam's new suit is a combination of his TFaTWS Falcon and Cap suits. Can't wait for Brave New World

Now to wonder if we'll get any lines about Arishem showing up in the sky.

I hope they do Isaiah Bradley’s story justice in this movie. It was really touching in Falcon and the Winter Soldier and it would suck to see him just die without any introduction in Brave New World… People shouldn’t need to be forced to watch the tv show to get his whole story

I prefer the white suit since it was so different to Steve's and gave Sam his own identity as Captain America pretty much. I can understand him wanting a sort of stealthier suit in this movie though, the white did stand out a lot - loved it though, glad we're getting it for a bit in BNW !
Everyone is saying they finally remembered the Celestial. Does everyone forget that all these movies got pushed back because of covid and the strikes? It feels longer than it actually is because so many projects didn’t need to be reshot and came out before. I’m sure that wasn’t the original plan.

Cautiously optimistic for this movie. Biggest things I want addressed are the avengers leadership, members, and structure and then Tiamet cuz it's absolutely insane we haven't gotten any real references there lol. I wonder if the skulls will have a role to play following secret invasion?
Yeah, that trailer definitely got me interested in the movie. It really has a chance to bring the MCU together after a few years of the stories feeling abit disconnected. Very excited for the movie to arrive!

I think marvel should be able to add a character from Israel if they want to. Despite what's going on, people from Israel descent still exist and why are we changing her origin to pretend she was never israelian. I know she's a political character, but if ww2 was happening today and they had a german or jewish character, that wouldn't bother me in the slightest. Same with this scenario. They should give her the comic accurate costume and make her the same character because they clearly added this character before the israel ad palestine thing started happening.
I agree with you that the character wouldn't bother me, even with the events in the Middle East. But there are already movements afoot to boycott the movie, which is the last thing Marvel needs. So I suspect they decided to move on from the character to allow the widest audience to feel comfortable watching it
This movie is probably the next MCU thing I am looking forward to the most. As you said the tone and the plot are very intriguing and it should more the whole universe forward. Let's hope they don't skrew this up.

This teaser was so good, excited to finally see Tiamut again and Red Hulk and Leader getting introduce, i hope Jen and Bruce make an appearance in this movie and a new hulk movie gets set up. I've heard they got to fight choreographers from winter soldier to come back for this movie and that the dog fights are Top Gun inspired. Cool to see Giancarlo Esposito in the mcu.

I suspect the film will take place in Sprung 2027 because of one major thing. This film is not just the first solo film for Sam Wilson as Captain America but his first film appearance in general. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier took place in 2024 which means placing it in 2027 means that Sam has been Cap for three years in-universe (maybe closer to two depending on the month), that is already a lot longer than it feels like it should be when watching the trailer but still new enough for Sam to still be dealing with the Not My Captain America arc

Yeah, I was surprised they revealed him so early, but then again, it was the worst kept secret in the world, so probably best they led with it to build excitement.

I'm not" dialogue really ticks me off because knowing Sam, master of comebacks, I can't buy that he didn't reply "You're right... I am Captain America." And I just think they made him say "I'm not" so as not to piss off the angry nerds who can't stand that Sam is Cap now.

Betty Ross will be at the funeral. Maybe Thaddeus Ross is the one who died and the funeral is the epilogue; or Ross might even fake his own death before becoming the Red Hulk.
Don't you think that fighter jet is actually Redwing? The vehicle seems to hover and that's not a Harrier jet, and the wings are too short for that flat wide body.
Yep, I think you are 100% correct on that. The trailer never showed Redwing leaving his back, but after looking at it again, I'm convinced I was wrong in thinking that was a fighter jet in the distance. Thanks for pointing that out!

*My theory on The Avengers splitting up and why the Multiverse Saga will create The Avengers again:* - The Avengers really broke up after Captain America: Civil War. After Endgame they mostly turned back to this. - Steve, Tony & Natasha are dead, Clint has his family & Kate, Bruce has his family, Thor has Love now. Scott has his family. - Sam is shown briefly with Bucky but also parted ways, Rhodey is shown to be in captivity/close to the former president. - Wanda is "death", White Vision is on it's own quest, GOTG are split up, Shuri is Black Panther, Captain Marvel is back on Earth now. - Ross is the new USA president and really wants another Avengers team. He'll recruit anti-heroes that he'll join, The Thunderbolts. - A Young Avengers team will be formed (as initiated by Kamala) & will likely be a huge part of Doomsday and/or Secret Wars. - It's all more branched now that they all have their own lives. The one who can contact all of them is still Nick Fury. - I'm pretty sure Nick Fury will stay in the MCU but will be killed, just like Hank Pym.

This movie looks so amazing already! I love the multiverse and the magic in the MCU but I love the "Street" MCU to and the next year would be a wonderful year for it! I would love that Sam form the new avengers 🎉 But now we will have a lot of groups in the MCU 😂 The Avengers, Thunderbolts, Young Avengers, Fantastic 4, maybe X-Men, Midnight Sons etc etc etc I'm so excited to see them 😊
I think I have an idea of when this film takes place. The cherry blossoms shown throughout the trailer obviously places this film in a Spring setting. However, some of the trees during the funeral are sprouting their blossoms, suggesting Early Spring, while some of the trees throughout some shots in the trailer are green, suggesting Late Spring, with the best compromise to satisfy both pieces of evidence being to place this film in Mid Spring, ideally April. In the first exterior shot of the White House, there is a Full Moon next to the White House, suggesting this shot, and most likely the beginning of the movie, takes place on April 20, if this takes place in 2027, or April 28, if this takes place in 2029. Of course, we’ll have to wait for the movie to come out before my theory is proven or disproven by future evidence we don’t have access to yet. Another theory I have is that the funeral is for Thaddeus Ross, as in he probably faked his death in order to become Red Hulk, which would explain why Betty Ross is there, besides probably to explain some information to our heroes. Of course, we’ll have to wait until later to see if any of this adds up.
Excellent theories. You make a great point about the cherry blossoms being in bloom and the full moon is another excellent timeline hint. I think you are spot on with that analysis. And I do love the Ross faking his death idea. It would certainly explain Betty Ross coming to the funeral.
Captain America in February, Daredevil in MARCH (I think it's March, anyway), Thunderbolts in June or July (I don't remember which it was), and hopefully Iron Heart, Armor Wars, and Blade. Plus Fantastic Four is supposed to come out next year, as well. Which seems pretty fast for me, especially considering they announced the cast fairly recently and started filming not too long ago. I hope the VFX team has enough to finish their work on the film. Next year is looking pretty good.

Bradley's dying wish in his deathbed would be transfuse his blood to save the life of Captain Wilson and unofficially captain wilson takes the serum that he swore that he never would. Mirroring the exact thing Ross wouldn't wanna become in his life ,hatred towards Hulk. 2. That video could potentially be two hours because you know the Weapon X program was an attempt at creating that serum that gave us freaks like Wolverine X23 and Deadpool When the Hulk experiment went wrong that was supposed to be trying recreate super soldiers using gamma rays everytime the effects of the serum have been tried to be recreated in the comics it goes horribly wrong The formula died with the asasination of the scientist that created Captain America That's another reason why Steve Rogers is so unique and why Sam won't have the same powers as him
Really hope Sam takes the serum. Really like the theme of Hulks and Captains being essentially on the same stuff depending on gamma or vita variant. It makes Ross being a Cap villain really logical.
The funeral can't be for Isaiah because if he tried to kill the president, he wouldn't get an honor guard funeral. Or if Sam has a broken arm, maybe the funeral happens at the end of the movie, and Isaiah's name is cleared. Other option. The President is reported dead after the assassination attempt, but goes into hiding to draw out the conspiracy forcing sam to work for Ross anyway. Final option since Betty is at the funeral in black and looks to be in mourning maybe this is still at the end and after Cap and Red Hulk fight, Ross is presumed dead. He's not though and Ross has to go on the run in an ironic twist like the original hulk. This also explains Sam in a sling.

I agree...Mackie has done a fantastic job as Captain America so far. Such a great actor. And I do think Torres will be a terrific sidekick. While he didn't have a big role in FATWS, I really liked what we did get to see of him. Gonna be an awesome movie!

This whole Alliance with Ross lasts probably like maybe an hour into the film(maybe). Its going to be interesting. Questions I have will the public know their president is now a hulk? Or will they and how does that play out for the government. 2. How the hell can Sam fight a hulk. Even Steve Rogers couldn't(Or can't) match up to the OG Hulk.
My attempt to articulate my takeaways from the Captain America A Brave New World Trailer. Sam and Red Hulk will have a face off. Sam will hold his own however just as Sam is losing we'll see is true power. Inspiring other heroes to unite and we'll see a mirror off Endgame. Old members and maybe new members unite to defend Sam. They defeat Red Hulk and form the New Avengers. Their base will be Tiamat. They guard it from different groups trying to weaponize it. Ross will be a patsy. The true villain will actually be a group of Villains. The one that will be pushed as the main member will be The Leader. He'll be behind creating Red Hulk. I think Ross and Eli Bradley are both being mentally influenced by Leader. I loved his just Green hued outlines in the trailer. During the movie Espinito will be seen as just a mercenary character but I think he could be the actual head of the villain cabal if Leader is apprehended by the end. My theory is he's Red Skull. I think he was transported back to earth after guarding the soul stone. He made a mask that gives him the appearance of Espinito. He's manipulating events to create unrest in society. He's gathered other villains to aid his goal. Manipulating them. Characters like Val, Sharron, the Ten Rings, Kingpin, Mordo. I think his goal is to create tension between nob powered people vs super powered people. Ross is going to want to be a champion for non powered people but Red Skull and Leader (is legitimate ally)will want powered people to be on charge. Sam will want to unite both groups. I think Red Hulk will be the mix of Leader's Blood(the Hulk aspect) and Red Skull's blood(the Red aspect also being the prototype super soldier formula can explain the heating powers of Red Hulk). I think this movie will be the beginning of themes we'll see in the saga after the Multiverse. The tension of a world with powered people and non-powered people. I lean into the rumor Tiamat is composed of adamantium and it is a metal that can absorb radiation the way vibranium absorbs vibration. Making it something Ross would want to kill Hulk but also something Sam could use against Red Hulk. Heck if the rumor Hulk will fight Wolverine in DP&W the could establish a Hulk's weakness to adamantium. In short this trailer got my gears turning. For example Espinito could be the first of different Kang variants. Instead of one actor playing all. This is different actors playing different versions. I think we're going to see a bold new Avengers team thats going to be a independent entity that focuses on being champions against corruption bigotry and oppression. Those are all my thoughts. These are just my opinions. they're not facts. I'm happy to hear others thoughts.
Wow...those are some fantastic theories! I agree, the trailer really got me thinking of all the possibilities. The movie has a chance to bring together so many storylines from across the MCU and then propel the story forward for the next several movies to come. Great video as always. I have some additional thoughts about the timeline placement: I think it makes sense for the blip to change the election cycle. Lets say that Biden was elected President in Spring 2021, then everyone blipped back in Fall 2023 and Ritson elected in Spring 2024. I think Ritson declaring war on all alien life in November 2026 probably backfired and the American people wanted a new President instead (or he's killed, who knows?). Say hello to President Ross, elected in Spring 2027, only 6 months after Secret Invasion. This also lines up with all the cherry blossom trees we see in the trailer. Another reason I like this timeframe, is this places Cap 4 only 2.5 years after Eternals, which I think is okay since the military would have taken control over Tiamut which could be an in-universe reason as to why we haven't really heard about it since. Hopefully they go with an April 2027 time rather than 2029...
I hope iseah don’t die but even if he does marvel can still do a prequel story of his time as captain. I would love to see that maybe it would Be best as a marvel special episode

They are gonna do the comic thing where he seemingly dies but then red hulk appears and It’s a mystery to first time viewer as to who it the identity of red hulk. This is assuming that they don’t just give red hulk Harrison Fords face. In the past Mcu movies hulk looked less like banner but that started changing over time. So I hope RH looks so monstrous that you can’t guess that it’s Ross. Like avengers 2 hulk monstrous

I always assumed The Avengers group together when Fury unites them (at least in the first Saga) and he hasn't in the socond Saga, which has been what's making things like US Agent AKA former Captain America (unfortunately) try to take up the mantle and what will lead to _Thunderbolts_ happenning.
In terms of moments the Avengers have been mentioned the big one for me wasn't mentioned: Fury mentioning in not understandable vagueness why he wasn't calling on them.
It would be so much easier to say Special election, but that would go against laws up the wazoo concerning the presidental election. I think the blip moving the election cycle is really going to be the only valid answer to make everything fit and still be more closely tied to other events more currently going on rather than a two year gap.
Personally, I like the whiter outfit over the bluer one as its another way to set him apart from Steve, but I also just think it looks cooler, imho.
I think the reference in She-Hulk about Tiamut counts. It just doesn't answer any questions.

With Japan seemingly having a big role in the story, I wonder if we may get a tease at one of Japan's superheroes either in the movie or as an end-credit stinger? If they're gearing up for X-Men, a character like Silver Samurai would be a neat inclusion.

This might be a wild theory, but I think the funeral is for Ross and either his death was faked (and maybe blamed on Japan) in order to introduce this new hulk. Alternatively he could have died and is brought back to life somehow with She-Hulk’s blood, but because he was dead when injected he is red instead of green.

My off the cuff theory is that Giancarlo Esposito isn’t playing a villain. He’s played so many villains I feel like when joining the MCU he wouldn’t want to do the same thing again. I’m thinking that Ross being RH may actually not be revealed right away. Like in the comics. Maybe they think Ross was killed or taken by RH, and attempt to save him. By the end we find out him and the Leader were in cahoots. And the mysterious Giancarlo mercenary that’s been following them is actually a good guy the whole time. He was fighting Sam because Sam was on Ross’s side initially. Giancarlo can be former SHIELD, maybe Jake Fury or GW Bridge or any other similar character we haven’t seen on screen before.

But this in version, Ross would ultimately play an Alexander Pierce type role. Also, the mysterious mercenary that’s following them and trying to stop them? In TWS it was the winter soldier and in this movie it’s Giancarlo. Also, The former black widow that joins the fight when shit gets real- no explanation needed here, seems like we’re getting a direct parallel of this.
Even down to the opening of this movie seeming to be the mentioned Mexico fight. In TWS it was the Lemurian Star fight. I think looking at those potential parallels could be a good way to theorize what’s going to happen in this movie. They had a winning a formula and I bet the reshoots were to ensure they follow the formula that TWS set up more closely, to help establish the new Captain America.

If you look at Sam’s white suit, it is not the same one from Falcon and the Winter Soldier it is a newer more streamlined version as it does not have the connected head piece that wraps up the side of his head and across the front, it’s stops at his normal shirt line at the base of his neck and he is just wearing goggles. Personally I hope this gets at least a bit of screen time because I liked the white it was just the head wrap that made it a little goofy in live action personally I think the tweak here removing that makes it perfect and I’m sad to see it go 😢
Great point! Yeah, I agree, the head wrap was my least favorite part, so perhaps I'll really end up liking the white costume when I see it on the big screen w/o the head wrap!
I do believe you are right about this taking place in spring. The Cherry Blossoms also hint at it being in spring as in Washington DC they typically only bloom late March to early April.

The Avengers only appeared a few times as an team to fight a threat. Against Loki in NY, to retrieve the scepter from Strucker, to stop Bonecrusher, fight Thanos and to reverse the blip. It’s almost like they’re a group of friends who meet up at an class reunion every couple of years.
Very good point… Yeah, I think they are kind of like a group that gets together when the threat arises and then otherwise heads home to their separate lives. I think the reason we see so much conversation from other characters asking where the avengers are is due to their public presence having been missing for over three years. And after losing black widow, Iron Man, and Captain America I suspect the public feels like the team just isn’t meeting anymore. So it’ll be nice to see them having a public presence once again.

Great observation. Yeah, it does seem to be a recurring them. In a world of super-heroes and super-villains, I suspect it makes sense that it would happen quite often. Even Winter Soldier dealt with SHIELD being compromised, so it's another major institution that was taken over from inside. Wild stuff!
This film looks so good (not story wise, but it looks alright to) it looks so visually different and has such a different ascetic, like the cherry trees which looks so different than most other films

Man, I'm more than hyped for this movie. Deadpool & Wolverine has sounded and looked great from the start, Agatha All Along shows promise, and Brave New World looks amazing. It may be a little jam packed, but I'm hopeful it all works out. This movie is going to make or break the MCU with how many connections it appears to have going on because if this movie fails, we're in trouble.
I totally agree...Brave New World has the chance to either unify the MCU and really get fans excited or has the chance to sink things if it isn't good. But that trailer sure makes me think it will be a huge success!

This was the most excited I'd gotten seeing a new MCU trailer in a long time! I'm really looking forward to Brave New World, for all the same reasons you mentioned toward the end there, all the tie-ins with various other MCU loose threads going way back to the Incredible Hulk, and more recently with She-Hulk, Eternals, Falcon&WS, Secret Invasion, etc. The MCU has needed this for a long time! And yeah, I'm really curious to know who this new character is that Giancarlo Esposito is playing!
I have to say, back when I saw the first released photos of Harrison Ford as Ross, I wasn't entirely sure if he would convincingly play the same character, but seeing him in the trailer and hearing his voice, you can tell he studied William Hurt's performances as the character, and I'd say he's pulled it off rather nicely.
So many things to be excited about for the new movie. That trailer really got me pumped. And I agree, Harrison Ford seems like he’s going to do a fantastic job. I suspect William Hurt would be honored by the performance, as I think you are right that Ford really studied Hurt’s take on the character.

I prefer the white suit since it was so different to Steve's and gave Sam his own identity as Captain America pretty much. I can understand him wanting a sort of stealthier suit in this movie though, the white did stand out a lot - loved it though, glad we're getting it for a bit in BNW !

Everyone is saying they finally remembered the Celestial. Does everyone forget that all these movies got pushed back because of covid and the strikes? It feels longer than it actually is because so many projects didn’t need to be reshot and came out before. I’m sure that wasn’t the original plan.

Yeah, that trailer definitely got me interested in the movie. It really has a chance to bring the MCU together after a few years of the stories feeling abit disconnected. Very excited for the movie to arrive!

I think marvel should be able to add a character from Israel if they want to. Despite what's going on, people from Israel descent still exist and why are we changing her origin to pretend she was never israelian. I know she's a political character, but if ww2 was happening today and they had a german or jewish character, that wouldn't bother me in the slightest. Same with this scenario. They should give her the comic accurate costume and make her the same character because they clearly added this character before the israel ad palestine thing started happening.
I agree with you that the character wouldn't bother me, even with the events in the Middle East. But there are already movements afoot to boycott the movie, which is the last thing Marvel needs. So I suspect they decided to move on from the character to allow the widest audience to feel comfortable watching it
This movie is probably the next MCU thing I am looking forward to the most. As you said the tone and the plot are very intriguing and it should more the whole universe forward. Let's hope they don't skrew this up.

This teaser was so good, excited to finally see Tiamut again and Red Hulk and Leader getting introduce, i hope Jen and Bruce make an appearance in this movie and a new hulk movie gets set up. I've heard they got to fight choreographers from winter soldier to come back for this movie and that the dog fights are Top Gun inspired. Cool to see Giancarlo Esposito in the mcu.

I suspect the film will take place in Sprung 2027 because of one major thing. This film is not just the first solo film for Sam Wilson as Captain America but his first film appearance in general. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier took place in 2024 which means placing it in 2027 means that Sam has been Cap for three years in-universe (maybe closer to two depending on the month), that is already a lot longer than it feels like it should be when watching the trailer but still new enough for Sam to still be dealing with the Not My Captain America arc

Yeah, I was surprised they revealed him so early, but then again, it was the worst kept secret in the world, so probably best they led with it to build excitement.

But in all seriousness, this movie looks great! Cannot wait to get a full look at the Leader, and as a big Eternals fan myself, finally setting a battle at Tiamut Island is so cool. Hope it becomes Avengers HQ similar to the comics when they used a celestial as their base of operations for a while. 2025 is the year of the superhero movie!

The "You may be Captain America but you're not Steve Rogers!">"You're right... I'm not" dialogue really ticks me off because knowing Sam, master of comebacks, I can't buy that he didn't reply "You're right... I am Captain America." And I just think they made him say "I'm not" so as not to piss off the angry nerds who can't stand that Sam is Cap now.

Maybe they’re introducing the idea of multiple teams like post civil war in the comics. All governed and each state has one.

Great video as always! Y'know what could be a cool idea for a video? Maybe a guess of characters that got blipped and who didn't, like the defenders characters we haven't knew about since the endings of their shows, maybe villains like Vulture or the Leader himself.

Betty Ross will be at the funeral. Maybe Thaddeus Ross is the one who died and the funeral is the epilogue; or Ross might even fake his own death before becoming the Red Hulk.

*My theory on The Avengers splitting up and why the Multiverse Saga will create The Avengers again:*
- The Avengers really broke up after Captain America: Civil War. After Endgame they mostly turned back to this.
- Steve, Tony & Natasha are dead, Clint has his family & Kate, Bruce has his family, Thor has Love now. Scott has his family.
- Sam is shown briefly with Bucky but also parted ways, Rhodey is shown to be in captivity/close to the former president.
- Wanda is "death", White Vision is on it's own quest, GOTG are split up, Shuri is Black Panther, Captain Marvel is back on Earth now.
- Ross is the new USA president and really wants another Avengers team. He'll recruit anti-heroes that he'll join, The Thunderbolts.
- A Young Avengers team will be formed (as initiated by Kamala) & will likely be a huge part of Doomsday and/or Secret Wars.
- It's all more branched now that they all have their own lives. The one who can contact all of them is still Nick Fury.
- I'm pretty sure Nick Fury will stay in the MCU but will be killed, just like Hank Pym.

This movie looks so amazing already! I love the multiverse and the magic in the MCU but I love the "Street" MCU to and the next year would be a wonderful year for it! I would love that Sam form the new avengers 🎉 But now we will have a lot of groups in the MCU 😂 The Avengers, Thunderbolts, Young Avengers, Fantastic 4, maybe X-Men, Midnight Sons etc etc etc I'm so excited to see them 😊

I think I have an idea of when this film takes place. The cherry blossoms shown throughout the trailer obviously places this film in a Spring setting. However, some of the trees during the funeral are sprouting their blossoms, suggesting Early Spring, while some of the trees throughout some shots in the trailer are green, suggesting Late Spring, with the best compromise to satisfy both pieces of evidence being to place this film in Mid Spring, ideally April. In the first exterior shot of the White House, there is a Full Moon next to the White House, suggesting this shot, and most likely the beginning of the movie, takes place on April 20, if this takes place in 2027, or April 28, if this takes place in 2029. Of course, we’ll have to wait for the movie to come out before my theory is proven or disproven by future evidence we don’t have access to yet. Another theory I have is that the funeral is for Thaddeus Ross, as in he probably faked his death in order to become Red Hulk, which would explain why Betty Ross is there, besides probably to explain some information to our heroes. Of course, we’ll have to wait until later to see if any of this adds up.
Excellent theories. You make a great point about the cherry blossoms being in bloom and the full moon is another excellent timeline hint. I think you are spot on with that analysis. And I do love the Ross faking his death idea. It would certainly explain Betty Ross coming to the funeral.
Captain America in February, Daredevil in MARCH (I think it's March, anyway), Thunderbolts in June or July (I don't remember which it was), and hopefully Iron Heart, Armor Wars, and Blade. Plus Fantastic Four is supposed to come out next year, as well. Which seems pretty fast for me, especially considering they announced the cast fairly recently and started filming not too long ago. I hope the VFX team has enough to finish their work on the film. Next year is looking pretty good.

1.so,my theory is that in the finale battle with RULK will slice away cap's shield and Wakandan suit burning down sam wilson.But, it is in this moment i guess, Captain America Gundam model suit shows(CAPBUSTER gift from JAPAN for Unison) made out of vibranium again but he fails to stop ross ,here comes our calvary the Isaiah bradley and saves him,so officially we will be getting to see a version of CAP VS RULK fight,even though both of them are super soldiers and strategists ,RULK has a upper hand and fatally wounds Captain Bradley. Bradley's dying wish in his deathbed would be transfuse his blood to save the life of Captain Wilson and unofficially captain wilson takes the serum that he swore that he never would. Mirroring the exact thing Ross wouldn't wanna become in his life ,hatred towards Hulk.

In this process, few blood samples will be stolen away by Eljiah bradley because he feels that i have been with my grandfather and this is my property and it should have been me grandfather would be transfusi0ng his blood with but not with sam,so he haves this serum and becomes a super soldier THE PATRIOT but the results are temporary , he has to take this more oftenly.

And at the very end as a respect for saving the world and outing the president , Sam will be honored with the Proto Vibranium SHIELD + Proto Vibranium Gundam suit + Golden Eagle the techno Advsior to Sam . i guess.

These Wars will be awakening Tiamut due to so much Radiation coming out of it and around it, These Vibranium war will be making earth into omlette making an another good reason as to, why earth 616* was incursioned and why we have to fight for it has one in the realm of contest of champions inside the void, if the heroes/villains are defeated then that planet would be incursioned - Gladiator Games in the secret wars.
9. Speaking of Battle at the washington DC , i think RULK would do minimal damage to it plausible ,but what if Leader implanted a Gamma Bomb that would kill the president and as the president ross has already taken the serum its because of this gamma bomb radiation Ross turns into Red Hulk / RULK.

That video could potentially be two hours because you know the Weapon X program was an attempt at creating that serum that gave us freaks like Wolverine X23 and Deadpool When the Hulk experiment went wrong that was supposed to be trying recreate super soldiers using gamma rays everytime the effects of the serum have been tried to be recreated in the comics it goes horribly wrong The formula died with the asasination of the scientist that created Captain America That's another reason why Steve Rogers is so unique and why Sam won't have the same powers as him

Really hope Sam takes the serum. Really like the theme of Hulks and Captains being essentially on the same stuff depending on gamma or vita variant. It makes Ross being a Cap villain really logical.
Yeah, it does seem to be hinting at him taking the serum. Will be interesting to see what he decides!
The funeral can't be for Isaiah because if he tried to kill the president, he wouldn't get an honor guard funeral. Or if Sam has a broken arm, maybe the funeral happens at the end of the movie, and Isaiah's name is cleared.
Other option. The President is reported dead after the assassination attempt, but goes into hiding to draw out the conspiracy forcing sam to work for Ross anyway.
Final option since Betty is at the funeral in black and looks to be in mourning maybe this is still at the end and after Cap and Red Hulk fight, Ross is presumed dead. He's not though and Ross has to go on the run in an ironic twist like the original hulk. This also explains Sam in a sling.

Captain America is my favorite MCU character! Mackie is such a charismatic actor and has brought so much to his character. So excited for this movie. How are we thinking Joaquin Torres will match up to Bucky as a sidekick?? High hopes

This whole Alliance with Ross lasts probably like maybe an hour into the film(maybe). Its going to be interesting. Questions I have will the public know their president is now a hulk? Or will they and how does that play out for the government.

My attempt to articulate my takeaways from the Captain America A Brave New World Trailer.
Sam and Red Hulk will have a face off. Sam will hold his own however just as Sam is losing we'll see is true power. Inspiring other heroes to unite and we'll see a mirror off Endgame. Old members and maybe new members unite to defend Sam. They defeat Red Hulk and form the New Avengers. Their base will be Tiamat. They guard it from different groups trying to weaponize it.
Ross will be a patsy. The true villain will actually be a group of Villains. The one that will be pushed as the main member will be The Leader. He'll be behind creating Red Hulk. I think Ross and Eli Bradley are both being mentally influenced by Leader. I loved his just Green hued outlines in the trailer.
During the movie Espinito will be seen as just a mercenary character but I think he could be the actual head of the villain cabal if Leader is apprehended by the end. My theory is he's Red Skull. I think he was transported back to earth after guarding the soul stone. He made a mask that gives him the appearance of Espinito. He's manipulating events to create unrest in society. He's gathered other villains to aid his goal. Manipulating them. Characters like Val, Sharron, the Ten Rings, Kingpin, Mordo.
I think his goal is to create tension between nob powered people vs super powered people. Ross is going to want to be a champion for non powered people but Red Skull and Leader (is legitimate ally)will want powered people to be on charge. Sam will want to unite both groups. I think Red Hulk will be the mix of Leader's Blood(the Hulk aspect) and Red Skull's blood(the Red aspect also being the prototype super soldier formula can explain the heating powers of Red Hulk).
I think this movie will be the beginning of themes we'll see in the saga after the Multiverse. The tension of a world with powered people and non-powered people.
I lean into the rumor Tiamat is composed of adamantium and it is a metal that can absorb radiation the way vibranium absorbs vibration. Making it something Ross would want to kill Hulk but also something Sam could use against Red Hulk. Heck if the rumor Hulk will fight Wolverine in DP&W the could establish a Hulk's weakness to adamantium.
In short this trailer got my gears turning. For example Espinito could be the first of different Kang variants. Instead of one actor playing all. This is different actors playing different versions. I think we're going to see a bold new Avengers team thats going to be a independent entity that focuses on being champions against corruption bigotry and oppression. Those are all my thoughts. These are just my opinions. they're not facts. I'm happy to hear others thoughts.

Great video as always. I have some additional thoughts about the timeline placement:
I think it makes sense for the blip to change the election cycle. Lets say that Biden was elected President in Spring 2021, then everyone blipped back in Fall 2023 and Ritson elected in Spring 2024.
I think Ritson declaring war on all alien life in November 2026 probably backfired and the American people wanted a new President instead (or he's killed, who knows?). Say hello to President Ross, elected in Spring 2027, only 6 months after Secret Invasion. This also lines up with all the cherry blossom trees we see in the trailer.
Another reason I like this timeframe, is this places Cap 4 only 2.5 years after Eternals, which I think is okay since the military would have taken control over Tiamut which could be an in-universe reason as to why we haven't really heard about it since.
Hopefully they go with an April 2027 time rather than 2029...

This is assuming that they don’t just give red hulk Harrison Fords face. In the past Mcu movies hulk looked less like banner but that started changing over time. So I hope RH looks so monstrous that you can’t guess that it’s Ross. Like avengers 2 hulk monstrous
