    You should've kept in the exchange between McCoy and Mr. Nakahara after the verdict.
    McCoy: Mr. Nakahara, I'm sorry.
    Nakahara: I was in the Midwest last year for the opening of an auto plant. When I left, someone threw paint on my car. It was disturbing, but expected.

      Yup and the crazy thing is that the jury did not take into account that she put herself in the situation that made it so she killed the victim and even then being assaulted sexually doesn't mean she's at risk of death especially in that situation.

      @@SpeedUpThatComputer Her battered woman act was so convincing, even Dr. Olivet was fooled. Throw in some good old 80's style Japanaphobia, jury didn't stand a chance.

    People who are drunk often fall into a small group of specific patterns. So do people who've been through major traumas.

      For a man yes. If it was the other way around, there is no way he would be found not guilty. We find the man guilty of assault when we have the video of the woman assaulting him multiple times before he defended himself. In countries like Spain the difference is codified in the text of the law. So yes, Self defence is difficult *for men*

    I remember this episode. McCoy and Kincaid lost due to the defrnsr case was stronger and put questions the of who's the real victim here.

    • @RhaegarTargaryen1st
      @RhaegarTargaryen1st ปีที่แล้ว +1

      McCoy from 3:48 to 4:23 said it all.
      The defense won because they played on the anti-Asian bigotry of the jury. They had no case. The racist jury nullified the law.

    Is the witness allowed to narrate instead of give a direct answer per your rules of court? Anyway, this is good entertainment.

      But Heard didn't study this case enough, she got alot of the factors that won for this woman wrong. Plus the jury hated her.
