Id be tempted to get cam lever or thumb lever bolts for the kemimoto, that’d put that thing right in the sweet spot for coverage and adjustability

Great review. I saw your first review and was about to buy the Puig, but I'm glad you updated the review. I spend most of my time on the road and I've been avoiding the highways because of the buffetting.

Love the adjustable visors. I may look to see if I can get a bigger windshield. I live in Medellin Colombia and we don't officially have the Honda 300 Rally we have Honda XRE Rally. It doesnt come w wind a screen so I will have to by anyhow. Also no reversed forks. I have an around-the-city bike a big yammy 950 bolt. but not built for trips here So it's between this bike and the KTM 390. I'm leaning toward Honda right now. What I do like is your paniers as back of the bike protection. Where did you get them from? also what exhaust did you put on? Sorry good vid and I got pulled off your topic.

Interesting that you say you are looking at the Honda and KTM, my next project bike is the 390, probably for the same reasons you are considering it. My panier bags are Tusk Pilots and the rack is by Outback Motortek. I will soon post a 3 video series on power mods for the 300Rally. Air Box Mods, Yosh Pipe, and EJK piggyback EFI controller. Ride On!

Great ! But do you also have a recommendation / review for which windscreen to get for the crf 300L ?

I only recommend products that I have experience with. And I do not currently have a 300L to test with so unfortunately I don't have one that I can recommend for you at this time. Thanks for checking in with me though...If you find one you like feel free to share with the group here...Good Luck!

I got the new KemiMoto with metal hardware. I love it.

Have you got to ride much with the metal hardware one? I seen reviews on it claiming it loosens up while riding and breaking etc but I'm wondering if those were somehow put on cause of the old plastic mounts but reviewed onto the new metal hardware version or something.
Was wondering if it's still been doing great and if you've put many miles on dirt roads with a lot of vibration yet?

    What size is puiq?

Hi the Puig visor is 230mm x 90mm or (9 x 3.5 inches) and here is the link if you need it: amzn.to/3F7n21O It works remarkably well for such a compact visor, you won't be disappointed especially if you like to ride off road. Cheers!

@@dualsportgarageyou talked kind of like maybe the kemi moto gave better wind protection but rated it numerically lesser so I keep feeling somewhat confused? How much difference is there between the kemi and puig you think? Would one be a clear winner for wind protection on the highway for tall riders you think? I'm 6'4" so wondering which did best at the top of your head if you're 6' even.
Feel like I like the puig but curious if it'll be anywhere near as good in the summer with the visor up at 6'4".
The kemi just looks weirder to me so hoping the puig is about just as good for someone my height. Also like to get on trails often enough it looks like it tucks nicer like you said.
Does the puig do better than the new metal hardware designed kemi moto for vibration on back roads?

Wow sorry I missed this! If you ride technical off-road the Puig is the way to go...smaller, easy to remove, and still does a good job with wind flow. But, if you are a dirt road & tarmac guy the new Kemimoto is better for wind protection. Hope that helps.

@@dualsportgarage I got the Kemi. I think it'll be fine off road since I really only ride off road like 30% of the time. More of my riding is down old rough logging roads than it is through a lot of brush or anything like that. The new hardware does seem like it'll be decent. The wind protection is great with it. This setup is better than my 09 klr650 was with a tall screen honestly. It's also more comfortable than my klr650 was with the factory seat even. My klr650 I tried a factory and custom seat yet some reason the seat made me sore no matter what within 45 min to an hour or so.
