- For my final ride in the Canary Islands I chose the island of La Graciosa, a short ferry hop from Lanzarote. La Graciosa is a beautiful small island with very few cars, dirt roads, an amazing volcanic landscape and beautiful beaches. However on the day I went, it was somewhat difficult to enjoy its beauty!

Another great vlog, great attitude you know it means the world as a hobby when you just want to ride anybike just for the feeling of 2 wheels and freedom. That said it could have been choppers for hire, now that would have been a nice challenge lol, loving the Apidura new basket range too you had on that thing 🤣

Me and the wife were staying just up the road from you in Costa Teguise. Didn't take my cycling kit this time and instantly regretted it at the first site of a group of roadies flying past. We paid a visit to the North and saw La Graciosa from the Mirador Del Rio cliff top. Well done for getting over there and giving it a go. Shame about the wind, but I do love Lanzerote.......especially the weather 😊

Some of your calamities do make me wince sometimes but that was a brilliant recovery for what could have been a another disastrous outcome - and very funny 😅

Great video. This is what cycling is all about, the adventure. If you truly want to lean into the cycling snobbery, we don't call it a rubbish bike, we would call it "underbiking".😅
