  • These are the 5 reasons why your lucky bamboo plant leaves turning yellow.
Lucky bamboo makes a great indoor plant that loves water,
and grows best in high humidity conditions.
Turning yellow often signifies that your Lucky Bamboo is
suffering from one or more problems. If you notice a few leaves
yellowing and dropping, then it’s probably nothing to worry about.
But, if there are several parts of your bamboo turning yellow, then
    this could indicate a problem.

Thank you for this I transported my bamboo plant that was in a very skinny vase for many years to a large terracotta plant there are two lucky bamboo plants in this large pot I filled it with rocks and I made a mistake and used tap water the stalk on my lucky bamboo turns yellow so I'm using distilled water now as I always did before and I also used a drop of Miracle-Gro house plant fertilizer I don't use it much hoping I can revive my plant thank you for this video God bless you from USA

I used tap water too. The tip of my bamboo plant kinda looked shrunken and yellow. Were you able to revive your plant?

A missing one is Low PH. If you (like I did) lower the PH of the water because you accidentally treat it like your other hydroponic plants and put a PH lower solution it in it will turn yellow.

Thanks. I was using RO water cause my groundwater is salty, which will stain the glass pot in which I had placed the plant. I will try your suggestion.

Thank you my friend ! ! I am guilty of at least 3 of these causes. Will change water now. I will clean the containers. Should I change the container now ? ? I was thinking of boiling the rockes to clean and fungus off of them. Thanks again ! !

Also 6. Transplant shock after changing the pot or soil the plant was originally in. Also cutting or aggravating the roots

The tip of my lucky bamboo is yellow and thin in between the two nodes. Is it too late to save this plant, do I need to cut a part off? What do you recommend I do?

If the upper part or the leaves only turning yellow, trim them. Yellow stems or leaves wont turn green again. If the whole stem is yellow, try propagation. wtch this video here - th-cam.com/video/MEzuagkppS0/w-d-xo.html

i can’t see bottom of container with rocks to see how much or when i should water.
    my last bamboos died, overwatering.
label on this one says water every other day, but that sounds suspect.
    any suggestions? great video, btw.

  • @DB052

    Bhai all that is fine
Question is who takes care of all these points in a village? But they still grow healthy. Not like germs and parasites and sunlight and warmth or cold are all perfectly controlled there... Or is it?

    • @GreenBackyard
      @GreenBackyard  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

They won't grow in every village. And they are not real bamboo trees. In there native place. All the conditions are favourable for these plants so they thrive easily. But we struggle with them because we cannot provide exact temperature, typ of soil, sunlight and all the other things for the growth of the plant.

am not sure if this happening to you too but I found the reason for my bamboo turning yellow is because these white fuzzy bugs that could be killing the plant were sucking all the nutrients
