I had the bamboo plan in water and it started turning yellow, then I planted it in soil and it was growing ok and then it started turning yellow, so I switched it back to water only and the leaves tips are turning yellow and brown, dry tips. the color is light green. The plan grew tall. Should I move it back to potting soil? cactus soil or regular plan soil? Thank you.
Hi Zillarsh 52! Thanks for following my advice. Putting the lucky bamboos on soil also is putting it on its natural environment. The plant naturaly grows on soil and not in water.
Cactus soil do not use normal soil

Whether you grow in water or soil, neglecting to fertilize and provide proper nutrients will allow your plants to decline.
What can I use to fertilize it?
The leaves look very yellow at the end. Isn’t that a bad thing?

Plant canes sideways in soil, every node will shoot straight up making many new plants for you.
