I bought a lucky bamboo last week, it has 2 stems and I kept it in sunlight for one day and it was light sunlight in winters here in Delhi, India,,, but it turned yellow . Now I have kept it in shade in the same room it was earlier. Will it come back to life?

Don't know the background of your plants because you haven't mentioned it, but generally, the roots should be completely submerged in water. That way, the roots will remain fresh and healthy. Exposed roots will lose moisture causing wilting, which will result in bamboo leaves turning yellow.

I have had at least 3 of these over the years and my issue is the large stem will turn yellow and die, when I cut into it its hollow and dry so I cut higher up on the stem and it was solid all thru so I put that in fresh water with only one frop of fertilizer. will it live?

Wow, you had the plant for 3 years, that's a long time. It looks like you cared well for it. You've done the right thing by removing the hollow stems. Hope it grows back. Let us know what happens .🌿😀🤩🌞

I have 3 stems of lucky bamboo ( bought 4 months ago ) growing them in water
None of which grew roots, and all 3 stems went yellow. HELP from a rainy Scotland

That doesn't sound good. Did you use rocks/pebbles too? The yellowing of bamboo stems can be hard to reverse. One way to revive your 3x bamboo stems would be to grow them is soil. That's usually the last option when nothing else seems to have worked. Meanwhile, replace the water, move your bamboo to a shadier spot away from direct sunlight and see what happens.

My lucky bamboo in soil pot has turned yellow most likely from to much water. Can it be saved? Should I just leave it in the soil pot to see if it will come back to life? Or replace with new bamboo?

How to save my lucky bamboo potted in soil that has turned yellow? Is it from to much water?

Too much water can be the cause of the yellowing lucky bamboo. Also, check the placement. Make sure it is not in direct sun light.

Sometimes when it’s in soil the plant can start getting root rot which can cause things like this, specially if the pot does not have proper drainage
