Cool build, i love the sound of the boosted 07K, like in the new rs3. I'm currently trying to "finish" LS swapping my 83 944, but the 07K was the only other engine i gave serious consideration to installing. I went LS for several reasons, but mostly getting it running should end up being about 1/3 the cost of the 07K. Also I joined the local "porscheuhhh owners" group and i figured the purists would hate the LS more.
Oh and LS swap the world, obviously.
LS swaps are always badass, but I decided to go the spendy/time consuming route, haha. Good luck on the build! Hopefully I’ll get to see it some day

I do like the idea of the 07K swap over an LS, it’s more unique and the 944 already has VW/Audi roots anyway, so that piece is interesting. You gotta be all in with that kit price though. 😂
Yea it was definitely a full send. I plan on sitting on this car for a long time though, it’s been a dream car since I was a teenager. Love your content by the way! Helped me out a lot when I was tinkering with the stock motor and I still reference your videos for other miscellaneous repairs. Thanks for all you do man!

Hey, thats my engine! Its ok porsche is VW family, swap is 100% approved from this VW guy!
Also the bolt patter is diff for lambo headers and the fireing order is diff too.

I'm wanting to K swap one and make it as lighta s possible for the track. A mini vette that's easier on consumables etc.
Sorry just one more thing a whinny boi is better on the 2.5 than a turbo, 2.5 is a bit weak low rpm, but 12 psi is recomended most boost.
What is the plan for wiring? Dose the boost brothers have a harness in there kit?
Yes, plug and play harness and standalone engine management are options with the kit and it’s what I’ll be running

Did you go with the haltech or pe option with their swap kit?
@@ericdiaz3048 I haven't bought theECU yet. still not sure which one to pick. I think I'm leaning towards haltech though
