You have given me a place to start. My material is different than yours, so my results are different. I would like to see a video on what the Q-Pulse and Frequency are and how the settings affect their output. In relation to speed and power. The black is way too slow for engraving. Would take hours :(

do these rust after time? is there a way to color mark/engrave without affecting corrosion resistance on stainless steel?

The only color I heard of rusting over time on Stainless Steel is Black- I haven't experience rust on any of my color marking including black. Most of my outdoor plaques are stainless steel.
