Wow! All the great info packed into 1 awesome video. We will be visiting Telluride this winter so this info is so helpful. Will check out your other winter video too. Thank you so much. 😊
Ouray is a stunning little town. Been about 12 years since I went there but loved it. Loved the Million Dollar Highway out too. Do you take bear spray with you when hiking in Colorado, Kevin?
We do take bear spray with us when hiking in Colorado. I have some friends who laugh at this, as there's only black bears here. But it's always better to be safe in this regard, especially with us since we hike a lot before sunrise in the dark
We do still use it! But both Bri and I have an A74, not the R4, but we both have the hybrid photo/ video 4, the R3 and the 3 are our backup cameras for jobs
@@KevinEassa WOW, thank you for messaging me. I'm taking my family on a Christmas road trip this year....we are staying in Pagosa Colorado and are going to visit Durango.... anything special going on aside from the train, for the holidays?
@@anarizmoore of course! If you’re going to that area, you cannot miss The Springs Resort in Pagosa Springs, best hot springs in the state by a long shot. The million dollar highway is a beautiful drive if it’s open and if you have the right car
@@KevinEassa I want to visit the million Dollar highway but some my family gets a little nervous when we travel through the Rockies...my sisters and I are going to visit Sedona this spring and will do the million dollar highway. Awesome vid! We're looking to relocate to CO and you made a STRONG case for Ouray! Is the fitness center a full gym or more of a "swimming/spa complex"? Thanks!
A knew Colorado before it got all messed up😢 there was a good reason for them to hate us Texans one of them what's crazy she beat the side of our motorhome overpopulated homes commercialization of property couldn't leave it in the pristine beautiful God made Colorado couldn't Preserve could not preserve the fascinating mining ghost towns a hotel on the side of a cliff probably slid off decades ago I'm sad for your state you don't know what you're missing yes it's accessible whoever that's what made it so much fun was the Jeep trails rough and rugged I wonder how it looked before on some of that? Why could you guys not enjoy the way God made it?

Best time of year to visit?
depends what you’re looking for! Winter for a snow globe vibe, and summer if you want to hike! Or if you love fall foliage then late September!
Where are the dinosaur tracks?
In Ouray?

What part of Colorado did you decide to move to?
@@anarizmoore we haven’t yet. Lots to think about still.
Columbine lake is a longgggg way from Ouray…I wouldn’t call that a moderate hike
I guess relative for moderate, but we think it’s the perfect day trip from Ouray !
I have never climbed all of my life,no interest to die,or blow out my knees ! At 70 years old I cherish my life,
