Aww thank you for sharing your life with your horses , don’t have any myself so look forward to your videos . I just adore all your horses All Absolutely Beautiful & see how well cared & loved they all are Sshh Donut my secret favourite 😉
Thank you so much for being here, we really do appreciate you, I think there is a few people now that have a soft spot for Donut 😉 I can’t wait for this winter and next year to really crack on and see how he takes to the ridden job xx
Like the way the young lad is calm when the young pony doesn’t go as he wants. He’s calm and collected and just guides her steady. He will build her trust and she will be great in time :0) be a credit to his training abilities x x ❤
Thank you Yes there is no need to get angry or upset if they don’t understand, he knows to spend the time and teach her correctly now and then she will be amazing in the show ring in the end xx
You know I think Donut could be your HOYs ticket! I think he's going to be really smart. Lewis was great with the babies, so calm but clear and consistent. Pip is cheeky but so cute! Xx
Thank you 🤩 let’s hope so 💙 I can’t wait to see how he takes to the ridden side of it all, I can’t wait to see him in a show with both the babies, I had half trained Gambler before he took the reins, so I can’t wait to see him out with 2 that he has trained all by himself xx
Really enjoyed watching ebby and pip having a good training session and doughnut is turning into a lovely looking boy with be a good one once he's older and knows what he had to do
Wow donut looks amazing. Hes really listening to you. What a 🌟 he is. They are all beautiful well cared for ponies. I used to love jumping little logs and styles out on hacks. I was never the best at it. I was happy as long as my heels were down. Love how you make it fun for yourself, Lewis and the horses xx
Thank you so much, Donut is doing so well, he’s learning really quickly so hopefully we will get on him soon. Yes I think Lewis will enjoy jumping out on hacks, I don’t think he would ever become a show jumper but it’s always nice to do something different and it will be fun for Gambler xx
It’s amazing isn’t it 🥰 Haha yes she walks and trots perfectly just the wrong way round 😂 Fingers crossed it will be a couple of weeks then we will have Ebby at a show 👏
@Siobhan_Shivaun she definitely would 😂 We will do lots of practice with her over the next few months and then hopefully we will find a winter show to take her out to xx
Pip reminds me so much of my 3y/o mini cob. People don’t usually believe me when I say how strong he is ! I took him to his first inhand show a few weeks ago and he was so good, pip will get there too, she seems so sweet natured and is so pretty 🤩
Thank you She is such a sweet natured horse, I’m sure with a bit of time and patience she will understand what we’re asking of her. Well done for getting your boy out xx
They are all looking so good. You and Lewis are doing an excellent job in bringing them on. I have a soft spot for Donut in particular as he is very similar in looks to my old welsh d mare. Sadly she is no longer around, she would be 37 years old if she was.😢 I’m looking forward to seeing Donut under saddle, he is very striking and with his movement will definitely stand out in the ring.❤
Thank you so much ☺️ Oh I’m so sorry to hear that, she sounds like she was stunning 😍 The saddle fitter came out last weekend and checked that the bare back pad was ok to break him to ride in 😀 so everything is all sorted for when I think it is time to get on board 👌🏻 x
Wow how good does donut look , IT looks like he's getting the just of what your asking for . So nice to see Louis and gambler ,doing some jumping in hand .👍👍 sometimes it's good to think out side the box .AND do something different . EBay is taking it all in ,AND good on you for sharing your journey. Take care and all the best .😊😊😄👍👍👍
Thank you so much, yes he’s taking everything in so quickly 🥰 I think Gambler and Lewis will have lots of fun jumping and it then will help Gambler lose a bit of weight Take care x
Thank you Being only his 4th time in the long reins I’m not worried about him shortening his neck and dipping behind the vertical just yet, Once he realises what we’re asking of him and gets stronger in himself this should stop
Wow i tought dat donut was willow! Donut is zo big and dark! What a herd hou have all of the sudden 😍 a lot of work for you guys. My mare was a lot like crazy little pip, few people could bring her to the pasture, she is getting better now under saddle, but still a hand full.
He’s changed so much lately, really starting to fill out and look like a horse and not a baby. Pip is such a sweetie, such a lovely character, she will be amazing once she understands what we’re asking of her, A lot of time and patience but we will get there x
Am looking forward to the training journey with Ebbie....i thiiiiink that bit is called a French link eggbutt snaffle???. Donut is gorgeous, Loooove the colour of Willow. Have you ever thought of doing working hunter and going for HOYS with Gambler 😊😊😊😊❤
Thank you I love all the training of the youngsters, Yes I think your right regarding the bit, I have no confidence at all jumping 😂 and I can’t remember a course 😂 but there is always a possibility of us taking him round a working hunter course to see what he makes of it all x
Karen, Such an interesting video your Donut is really starting to fill out in the hindquarters beautiful movement. I know his name is Watling the Duke , but who is his sire and the sire of Louis's beautiful bay filly
Thank you 🤩 He has certainly been a slow grower but really starting to change and fill out now, His sire is Watling Welsh Magic And Ebby’s sire is Geler Spartacys
17:59 tiny little tank 🤣 Louis did great job with both girls 👏👏 good thing he’s young and fit… how many laps did he run around ring 🤔👏👏 21:10 can you wrap chain in panty hose or sock🤔
Haha yes she is such a tank 😂 He must have gone round about 100 times 😂 this is why I don’t do the in hand side anymore, far to much running for me now 🤣 Yes that is definitely something we can try x
It is so interesting to see how different each horse is. If I'm not mistaken, I think you got Pip and Ebbie around the same time? Thank goodness for Lewis' long legs and youthful energy as he probably has thousands of running rounds ahead of him in training Pip and Ebbie. He is lovely and patient with them both, as are you. Thank you for showing us your journey with them :)
Omg your barkchip arena isn't deep anymore. Absolutely nothing like how it used to be . How come what did you do to it? ( it's a brilliant change for the better btw!)
@@KarenBadrick1you’re telling me. Us in the UK really suffered, i could of started swimming in my back garden if it had carried on any more lol And Yes your arena looks fabulous …
I love how you sing ‘whoa’ while long reining. I am going to try that! Singing helps me a lot with calming them, too.
Thank you 🤩
Yes I am constantly talking or singing to them to calm them and it really does work

I love Donut's two tone tail!
Pip's a bit of a madam "I want to go that way!!!" 😂
Ebby is looking fantastic, can't wait to see her at a show!
It’s amazing isn’t it 🥰
Haha yes she walks and trots perfectly just the wrong way round 😂
Fingers crossed it will be a couple of weeks then we will have Ebby at a show 👏
@@KarenBadrick1 shows need to left the ponies walk round on the left rein!! Pip would be in with a great chance then!! 😂

Donut is looking great.. A long road ahead backing them but you will get there. ❤
Thank you 🤩
Yes a long road ahead still, but I like to take it slow and make sure all the ground work is there before we get riding x

Donut looks great! He does seem to have the tendency to shorter his neck and dip behind, gotta watch out that that won't become a habit.
Thank you

It’s called a double jointed egg bit snaffle :-) and he is doing amazing well. Well done for all your hard work xxx
Thank you so much ☺️

We’ve not done a thing to it, last winter was one of the wettest years on record so every where was just water logged

@goberianchloex3646 I’m just praying it’s not as wet this winter 🙏haha
