I think Anakin would be much more energetic, but ultimately, Vader’s hate would focus him better. Anakin has the flaw of losing control when pushed a little to far, Vader is laser focused. He’s always angry and full of hate and he knows how to use it.

yep, Vader not only has more control over the Dark Side and his emotions, but the amount of grief and self hate inside of him would give him an advantage in force power, but wether that is enough to counter anakin´s physical advantage i can´t know

@@mauriciojaralopez2878 yep, Anakin would outperform Vader in every physical and power/output related category, however Vader would likely win regardless due to the shocking amount of combat experience he has vs other lightsaber and force users. The uniqe thing about the Dark Side is that the power has a power source and that is anger, simply put Dark Side users could become more powerful with the force the more angrier they get. Anakin could not control his anger meaning he would lose control, meanwhile Vader has mastered it and could use it to his advantage while also keeping a calculative mindset.

IMO, Vader was stronger in the force, but Anakin had the POTENTIAL to be stronger than Vader. Anakin hadn't yet topped out when he became Vader, and as such Vader grew to a much higher power level over time. Unfortunately, his potential was curtailed by things like missing limbs and the constant pain of his suit. Sure, as a Sith, Vader tapped into that pain and suffering he was going through, but his power would have been much higher had he not been defeated by Kenobi.

Despite Having arguably the greatest force power he didn't really use it all that often because he didn't have great control over it (and he was prone to using darkside moves). One of my favorite ideas in Star Wars is "falling" to a side of the force
The most interesting thing anyone in the series ever said about it was Darth Caedus (at the time Jacen Solo, in the "Legacy of the Force" books) he says that you can use the dark side just like the light, as a tool and an ally and that if you have the will, you can avoid falling to either side. It even suggests that Luke has "fallen to the light side". That he's become unbalanced and that he's now shackled by the rigid order and slow moving nature of the light side, not allowing him to take action when it matters.
They even talk about some unknown Sith Lord who Jacen had never heard of and when its asked how he stayed so invisible to history, it's said he didn't do anything evil! He just drew on the dark side like someone who wasn't a LUNATIC! (cough Bane, Sidious, Vader cough) If someone is actually not insane before they start drawing on the dark side, maybe they don't do lots of murders and all that!
Maybe Anakin would have never "fallen" to the dark side if he had been allowed to draw on it. Fueling his power with emotion, but being taught to not fully give in to it.

@@richardblack3385keep in mind, it was Vader that had the strength to defeat Sideous, NOT Luke. Luke was crying on the floor like a baby and big papa threw Darth Hideous down a hole. The mercy of obi-wan(a lot like the mercy of bilbo towards gollum) ended up saving the day in a very indirect way.
ALSO keep in mind that order 66 had been done with, so it doesn’t matter if he kills Anakin, Sideous is in charge now and he can find another apprentice whenever. Sideous is also hugely powerful and influential on his own, he was and would be completely fine without Vader. In fact, the chosen one was the only one in the whole canon at that time that did have the power to stop Sideous, so killing him would always be a huge blunder.

    Power comes from four areas:
Strength (including physical, abilities, speed, flexibility, etc.),
    Skill,
    Experience,
    &
    Motivation.
Vader is so amazingly complex because he is always at different levels based on when in his story he’s at.
During the Clone Wars: he had massive strength (especially in the Force), and motivation to protect his soldiers and his wife. However, he had no need to be skilled, seeing as he was so strong, and he was actively gaining experience, meaning that the Vader during Order 66 had massive power in three areas.
After he got his armor, his strength was massively dropped, and his motivation crumbled without his wife and (theoretically) dead children, leaving him essentially crippled.
Between that and his next appearance: he had to re-train himself to be far more skilled than ever before, and use his pain and rage to substitute his motivation. He also learned to apply his new mechanical strength and remaining force strength, and of course: getting bonus experience; meaning that when we see him during Fallen Order, Rebels, and Obi-Wan, he’s really freaking powerful with all four.
However, after Ahsoka “dies” and he drops Obi-wan, his motivation crumbles. He mostly just hangs around his castle in his bacta tank, just waiting for orders and otherwise not doing anything, essentially crippling him again, as his negative score in motivation offsets his moderate Strength, impressive skill, and absolutely massive experience.
But then he finds out Luke is his son. Guess who becomes more dangerous than any other point in his history? But then he starts to question his path, thanks to Luke. And which part of his power do you think starts to waver, leaving him weakened once more?

"A prosthetic arm. Yoda felt his spirits sink, although he'd been expecting the

That says nothing about the loss of the limb being the literal reason for a loss in ability, only tangentially, which makes sense because losing a limb would hurt a Jedi's ability to be at peace. They would feel negative emotion, some type of loss of confidence, possibly even attempts to seek revenge. Aka exactly what happened to Anakin. It is not because of some arbitrary loss of midichlorians, it is the result of suffering.

If Anakin had someone he wanted to protect enough he would win. In the end during Return of the Jedi Anakin did finally win the mental battle against Darth Vader inside of him in order to save his son Luke. In Revenge of the Sith Anakin only overpowered Dooku after Obi-Wan who at this point was still his brother and father figure was rendered unconscious. Sure Dooku then taunted him but I always thought protecting Obi-Wan was still a big factor in Anakin's win here as he was unwilling to leave Obi-Wan after the battle carrying him on his back saying "his fate will be the same as ours" so he was clearly on Anakin's mind during the battle. At least that's how I interpreted it LOL

He adopted techniques for all of the styles including Form 2 Makashi, Form 3 Soresu, in addition to all the other major forms. I think he is intimately familiar with Anakin Skywalker's Fighting style and tactics. He would be prepared for anything Anakin would try and has already thought of how to employ his strengths while taking advantage of any of Anakin's weaknesses to overcome him. He is without doubt the greatest Jedi Hunter/Killer the Galaxy has ever seen. Anakin would prove challenging but I believe Vader would prevail.

The Dark Side is just flat out better for a 1v1 duel. We've seen that countless times - the only Jedi who actually beat Palpatine in a fight was Windu, who had learned to channel the Dark Side via his new lightsaber form. Maul and Dooku both regularly took 2v1 or worse odds, and even Savage ran through Jedi like tissue paper. Vader claps Clone Wars Anakin, though a hypothetical fully realized Chosen One Anakin would be on another level of power.

I'd like to add the rules and laws of predators here. A predator has the luxury of showing vulnerabilities or creating vulnerabilities simply because they are stronger and skilled enough to cover up those vulnerabilities in an instant once an attack or a threat occurs. Prey do not have that luxury. Prey use an extreme amount of energy in order to prevent the creation of any vulnerabilities, simply because of the fact that they know that they must be in the moment of readiness when an attack occurs just to be able to survive. Predators and prey move in different ways. Anakin always impulsive and going with the initiative is a result of him always thinking that he is not good enough, his lighting attacks and hyper speed maneuvers is a result of him feeling like he needs to be more predatorial in order to overpower his opponent. A real predator with real skills and strength does not do this. Predators play with their prey.

5:46 the key word here is density. It doesn’t matter how many midiclorians you have throughout the body, it’s the density; ie the count of midiclorians per cell. If it was midiclorians throughout the entire body that determined force sensitivity then that would make an elephant more force sensitive then a mouse because of size. But that’s not the case.

But Vader spent years with the dark fueled by his hate after being maimed. Anakin potentially could’ve been more powerful and balanced in the Force but his conflicted nature. Pinning Vader against Anakin now as Vader went on to become as strong as he did and leaving Anakin right where he was when he was cut down then Vader obviously wins. But an experienced Jedi Master Skywalker against an experienced Sith Lord Darth Vader would be more of a fair fight however as I just said I believe Anakin would be far more powerful than Vader could ever have hoped to become. To be fair to Obi Wan, at the point he delimbed him and left him burning on the side of a lake of lava Anakin had marched on the Jedi Temple ( which was full of the very young, the very old, and the wounded and little else ) and killed everyone there, personally slaughtering children that were looking to him for help ( something he got to see a recording of straight from the security feeds ). Then when they get to Mustafar Anakin force choked his very pregnant wife and didn't seem to care in the least as he went to go attack Obi Wan.
He had no idea Anakin would survive, or that Palpatine would get to him so quickly ( seriously, just how close are Corsucant and Mustafar? Injuries like that don't leave you living very long )
As to the question from the vid? I'd give the fight to Vader. He might have taken a bit of a hit in raw power, but then Obi wan was weaker in terms of raw power and still left Anakin extra crispy. Vader is far more focused and less reckless and has spent years honing his skills specifically to hunt down other force users and kill them, one at a time or in groups. Anakin would be toast ( again )

    • @General_Weebus
      @General_Weebus 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Anakin used the dark side and killed the Jedi's most powerful enemy at the time in Count Dooku, yet wasn't given the rank of master. Mace Windu was the youngest Jedi to be put on the council and Anakin was supposed to surpass his record because he was the chosen one and just killed Count freaking Dooku. The Jedi then order him to spy on his friend after denying him mastery and don't explain why very well. They treated Anakin like shit and with every else that was going on his life its no wonder he trusted Palpatine more than them.

Vader losing midichlorians after his injuries on mustafar isn’t a theory, it’s a fact. Vader at his peak power was only 80% as powerful as Palpatine where before he would eventually become twice as powerful and possibly beyond, and a part of Vader’s surgery into his suit there was a massive concern over preserving the midichlorions still alive in his
body. His last remaining natural limbs being cut off and the burns all over his body destroyed a pretty decent chunk of Vader’s midichlorion count and potential in the force.
