All I can imagine is obi wan screaming at Vader trying to get to anakin "Anakin. You have a Daughter! A Son! Do not make them grow up without their father! Do not make them grow up without the good man I know you are. There is still hope anakin, you can still make everything right, you can still be the good father I know you can. But you have to want it."

Edit: to clarify, Vader second suit was made only for palpatine to be able to control him more easily whereas the first suit had that as second priority to “keep him alive”
Great point!! Just my thoughts. Vader eventually did defeat sideous to save Luke. In a duel to the death 80% of the time sideous wins. Whether it be over all power, experience, manipulation etc. But when Anikin clears his mind, focuses on the task, and lets his blade do the talking... he is truly unstoppable.
He can’t. There’s multiple statement putting Sidious above Vader. And when Vader tried to beat Sidious he got bitched, his confliction for Luke wouldn’t impact that fight at all.
I like the idea of force ghost Anakin appearing in front of Obi Wan and saying “when I left you I was but the learner now I am the master” but in that revenge of the sith joking style they had.
Given Padme's workoholic nature I imagine her fighting the fight against the Empire and kind of ignoring her children similarly how Leia did her work and ignored Ben.
I absolutely loved the fact that it was Vader alone who killed Palpatine and brought balance to the Force. It felt so... right. Such a beautiful and rightful ending for Anakin.

gorgeous story, probably one of the most beautiful stories. When hearing you describe the sadness that overcame anakin before he took control back from his vader persona almost had me in tears. I actually kind of wish this is how it ended because of the beauty of it all.

You should have included Anakin's last fight with Obi-Wan taught him how to support his life with the Light side of the force, in lieu of his damaged suit. Obi-Wan's last gift to him.
The suit may have shut down. But in that moment the chosen one wasn't just channeling the dark or light. He channeled both, in balance, it gave him the strength to defeat the dark, and make peace

What if bail organa wasn't an idiot and he just told the empire his daughter was missing, since he's a senator and they would just get her back, or he hired a bounty hunter, he's rich even the most vile bounty hunter would just get leia back and take the money without hurting her, that's their job

cool continuation would be showing the aftermath of this story as the empire begins to crumble as polititions such as bail organa would transform the empire into something like the republic but remenants of the empire would still show, and as the ISB launch there investigation they discover the security cams of the senate building when Anikan went of his slaughter, and when he killed all the inquisotors.
