I met Ben last year on old man of Coniston. He took me and my mate round all the caves then we camped on the summit. Top lad him. Mint vids mate keep em comin 💪🏼
Yeh hes restored my faith in bald men proper nice lad shame hes shit at challenges though (youll have to watch the end of the norway video for that reference ahah) but thanks for the comment plenty more videos on for you to watch and plenty more coming over the year
Glad you liked it helvellyn is a great spot and i was very surprised the tent survived but it definitely didn’t provide a good nights sleep so a 4 season tent will be coming to the channel soon!
Glad you liked it, it was about an hour 45 from swirls car park but I probably added 10 minutes or so walking from the layby down the road as I didn’t wanna pay for 24 hour parking ahaha think all trails said 5.5 mile + 2,700ft of elevation
Thanks for the sub! Helvellyn is usually windy this time of year so its a definite go to for testing the tent not sure where to test the new 4 season tent that’s arriving with me tomorrow any suggestions?
@@herethereandeverywhereYT well my default is the Brecon Beacons but maybe too far for you. In the Lake Diatrict I would love to see a camp on Fleetwith Pike overlooking the lakes. Proper 4 season tent territory and you can go from the Honister Pass I think.
Ive wanted to try the beacons for a while i definitely need to make a trip down there soon but this weekend ill definitely go do fleetwith pike thanks to your suggestion
We don’t actually know they were random lads who just wanted to do there first camp so we offered they stayed near us just incase anything got too bad and as for the pantha i was shocked it held up but also very impressed however it is a summer tent hence why ive been out to buy its winter replacement video coming next week on that!
Sorry i missed this comment its a summer tent because of the majority mesh inside where as my vern 1 has hardly any mesh which is a proper 4 season because the tent goes right to the floor
Its good value for money kit hence why we all have so much of it but as for the pantha it survived a night I didn’t expect it to so it gets a 5 from me however it might get abit of time off until the weather gets better so in the meantime ill be in the market for a proper 4 season bit of kit
@@herethereandeverywhereYT Righto. Just wondering if that’s why it was damp inside or if maybe the condensation. My guess is the seams as it looks windy enough for ventilation not to be an issue. I’ve heard these things are actually very waterproof if you seal them, and just OK if you don’t. Wonder if HH includes seams? Prob not.
Ive not had opportunity to seal seam it yet but im definitely going to do it over the next week or so then ill get to test it out in some rain but as for the dam every tent there that night was damp so my guess is it was because we were in the clouds but thats just my guess

Aw snoop sat watching you set the tent up inside is so cute 😪
Hes a good boy
Great video mate, great test for the tent too! Strong winds testing it's limits 👍🏼

@herethereandeverywhereYT look forward to seeing it! I've never done Helvellyn, but it's on my list!
Yeh you should definitely do it on a clear night it has one of the most beautiful views of the Lake District you can see for miles
Another sick video mate, keep it going🎉
Cheers brother looking forward to the one we filmed this weekend that forest drive was sick!
Great video mate, how far was the hike up and which route did you take?

Great location for a wind test! We had some winds up on Cribyn last week. Subscribed to see more.

What was the tent that snapped a pole ?
Great performance by the oex pantha .id rather be in that than a bivi up there .

What did you get ?
Youll have to wait for the video to come out i cant spoil the surprise ahah
@@herethereandeverywhereYT When you say it's a summer tent, do you mean it's cold? Or is it jsut not really meant for high winds?
Sorry i missed this comment its a summer tent because of the majority mesh inside where as my vern 1 has hardly any mesh which is a proper 4 season because the tent goes right to the floor
team looking strong with the OEX kit! Thanks for putting the Pantha to the test. What you recon, 5 stars then??

Hi, when you say you haven’t used it yet I take it you haven’t seam sealed it either?
No but as there was no forecast for rain i thought id try it out regardless
