As an englishman i was blown away to discover at 30 yrs of age that the most beautiful country on earth is right next to mine! i love scotland! great video and great spot you found
Thank you for sharing that video of your tent.. Would you be happy to share the location pls? It would be a perfect pitch for a local overnighter.... 😎
@@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors haaaa, get one in yer shopping basket 😂 you know you must have one. Have a look at the measurements first though. Can do the tie out mod, it just keeps the outer off the inner. Plus you can make the inner permanently attached to inner by changing the clips…. I think.
I’m incredibly jealous of anyone who lives in or near Scotland. There’s so much choice in location and equipment you could use. All without the worry of being moved on.
I like your English Accent 💜💜 Sometimes I don't understand your English Accent Because I can understand American English Accent 🤣🤣🤣But I am enjoying your videos all the time 💪👍🌷💜🌷🌷🌷
Good vid showing the tent! 👍 A couple of things from other videos I have seen, you can add carabineers to the inner tie points to keep the inner and outer together when packed up, and there should be 2 guy lines attached to the same points on the pole/rib, so you have one going forward and one going backwards (at an angle), it will be much stronger overall then! This Paul Messner video shows it : th-cam.com/video/qP-z4ECnQU4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nD07jLVLMXPK_4Bq
@@andyreact cheers. I just made some temporary lines up with what I had. Just got some 2mm guy lines and tensioners so will make up some new ones and as you say a few extras. I’ve never seen other Bobcats with the extra lines on the spine, just in that video. For the size of the tent it has some amount of pegs. I was thinking of attaching inner to outer with something. Just wasn’t sure what. Would the standard cheap 1-2 inch carabiners do ? My Helm 1 compact goes up in one, which is great. I’d also bought two additional tie out points for the rear of the tent to pull fly from inner but not had an issue with one touching the other …. yet. Used this tent more than any other since getting it. Cheers.
@cowalexplorer I don't have the tent yet (might go buy it today! 🤣) but yeah the cheap carbineers like you have on your lantern should do the job, smaller the better probably. I've also seen someone use a pole to hold the rear guy line up at an angle, that helps keep the outer away from the inner. 👍
@ aye, seen the pole lift too. Just something else to carry. 🤣 It’s a great wee tent, think Go are doing them at half price just now. My tents still airing since my last vid in the woods, it collected smoke all night. Might try and hook it all together before packing away. 🤔
You’ve done marketplace and TikTok shop, think your next one is Temu. They’ve got a few hot tents on there that I’m dying to see being tested in the wild.
@@Moffatmountainadventures the TikTok experience was my daughters fault. Set me up an account then she could use the shop. She wanted girl things and I had to make up the order for free delivery so bought the poles for 8 quid. I’ll need to check the hot tents 😂 I did get a hot tent off Amazon for £60.
