- Well....last week I released my interview with Bijay Shahi. There were a lot of questions raised, but ultimately I left it up to you guys to make the call about whether he was real or fake.
I felt like the demo he did for me was legit in the moment, but I now know I was duped. With all your suggestions and theories, plus some more digging on my part, I've found UNDENIABLE proof that Bijay scammed me and is a scam-artist.
Let's make it official: I 100% DO NOT SUPPORT BIJAY SHAHI AND BELIEVE HIM TO BE A FRAUD.

We are all deeply regretful for what he has done; he has brought our countries into disrepute.Information regarding Bijay Shahi running away after collecting more than NRs 50 lakhs from around 900 students from Surkhet is getting viral in different media/social media. According to Surkhet police, No such case has been filed in the DPO till now.
P.S. The abilities which he claimed to have as a memory king are also seen as false claims again.

1 do padmasaan
2 read book
3 write it down
4 convert these three into technique then remember 300 word in 1 minute
but in reality:
1 tell his friend to record voice in the mobile in the sink and write sitting in another room.
2 tell to close camera and make those interviewer away
3 then act as if he is writing in a uncomfortable way with a paper having zigzag cut
4 when interviewer face otherside, he gets that paper from girl and show that as if he has written🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If he was asked to memorise the whole book, his plan probably was to pass the page number, first word and the last word to the girl (by sliding it under the door). Or may be the whole time he spends chanting, he is actually memorising the name, publisher, edition, date, etc.
I also think she may have written down the name of the book when she was using her mobile (while she was standing next to Bijay Shahi and typing something). She probably has access to google books or some online library, where she can find the exact edition based on the page number, the first word and the last word.

Theory: You don't have to open the door to pass the paper you can pass the paper from between the door and the rug the fact that his body is blocking your point of view towards that part of the door just makes sense. That's the only logical explanation i can come up with.

Another thing: if he had such an amazing memory then you would expect that he would have much better English. Even with the short amount of time I’ve been learning memory techniques and without divine powers, my ability to learn the actual pronunciation of other languages has improved a lot!

I noticed that the interview video is not unlisted or anything, I think it would be good to put in a pinned comment or something an update on that video so that anyone going back to it who might not see this video isn't misled with your closing arguments. Though they weren't exactly positive, they were not saying he was an outright scam.
imagine being a smart person (at least it seems that way) and still believing a guy who says that he can memorize "by devine powers"... i'm literally speechless about this
Look up a man named Kim Peek. He can read a book in a very short time. He simultaneously reads the right page with his right eye and the left page with left eye. He does this in a matter of seconds. Then he memorizes nearly all of what he has read. You can ask him questions about anything. If he has ever read anything about the topic, he can recall that info and answer the question, as fast, if not faster, than Google. He is what we call a savant. It's well documented and he's not a fraud. Not sure if he's still alive, but there are documentaries on him here on TH-cam.
Kim also can't even care for himself. His father always took care of him and brought him to universities and other places where his skills could be tested or researched.
Now, to my knowledge, Kim never claimed to have divine powers. BUT, even if he did, his incredible skills are still a reality, regardless of how he *believes* he came to have them. So one cannot simply discredit the abilities of someone else who claims to have been given such abilities by a divine power.
That said, this guy from Nepal is a clear fraud. I just think it's unfair to pass judgment on anyone for believing someone who claims to have been given a divine power. It's also unfair to automatically label someone as a fraud without proof.
I hope my point comes across how I meant it.

*I am 100% sure that the girl took the help of an audiobook from the internet to write them down. Some writing mistakes in the paper are because the girl could not catch up on some words from the audiobook. At **8:09** we can clearly see that the girl is trying hard to see the title of the book. When she saw the title she went out and searched for the audiobook on the internet, I guess they took some paid subscriptions over some audiobook marketplace like "audible" beforehand which made it a lot easier to search for the audiobook online. And the reason why Bijay read those first lines out loud is that it would make it easier for the girl to figure out from which paragraph to start writing. She did the voice recording of Bijay reading those first lines out loud because in case she forgot those lines she could listen to the voice recording again and do her job. At the starting of the uncut video which nelson has provided, Bijay asked Nelson for the name of the book he would be given to memorize so that the girl would start doing her exercise early and finish it ahead of time.*

When he was reading it out loud in the begining, someone in another room was listening and righting down what he was reading. Then when you had to turn the camera they exchanged the paper sheets under the doorframe. Thats why you had to look away.

I agree with your conclusion that the whole thing is a scam, however, I do want to point out the fact that it seems that you contradicted yourself when you mentioned the dog earing of the page. Indeed, you mentioned previously that Bijay probably tore off the uneven edge of the paper you gave him (as a perfectionist might do) and therefore your argument about the dog earing doesn't stand as the dog earing was on the perforated part of the paper. I hope that makes sense. Like I said, I totally agree with your conclusions, apart from your suggestion about the dog eared part. hey just wanted to highlight that the page is different cause if you see the page that you rip from the book had black lines 12:39 and the one that you showed on 13: 25 had red lines on border (maybe its because of the camera would love to get confirmation )
Since there were other people sitting in the room, there could be a possibility that they might have been carrying a microphone. That way the y could have passed the information to the other room. @Nelson, You didn't check other people I guess and we don't know how the room was equipped. Not so hard to get scammed in those circumstances.
Aside from the possibility you mentioned, there also could have been a hidden microphone under any of the chairs, or in the desk nearby, in the ceiling, under the door, or anywhere else in that room. It also seems like he could have used a voice program to dictate the words that were written on the notebook paper.
Huge thanks to misguided Nepal for cracking the scam.

Looking at the paper he gave u and that still of what he wrote, the differences are MASSIVE. I kind of can't blame someone who (and I am making massive assumptions here) may have grown up in poverty, realises he has some skill, and then massively overhypes it in the goal of making some money. Perhaps he does have a pretty great memory, but sadly he went too far in his effort to monetise it and introduced obvious shenanigans into his game. Perhaps under pressure from his 'talent manager' or whoever. Nepal is a very, very poor country, so I can't feel too sore about someone trying to escape that. A shame he just took it too far. 😔

Girl wrote it. He copied what she wrote on a separate sheet of paper and discarded the original two papers (yours and the girl’s). That would explain his unchanging hand writing, the fact that it took so long, and why it’s so neat which is atypical of a person trying to fervently remember and jot down information especially an entire page full. It’s so obvious. The man was literally screaming while reading and trying his best to enunciate every syllable lol. The old guy already in the room helped the exchange between the girl and Bijay while your back was turned. Also notice the dynamic he had with her in the beginning - extremely bossy and domineering. He was almost instructing her on what to do and where to be - this is strange for a assistant but not all so for a confidant or a coconspirator. This theory also makes sense considering the slight mistake of imperfections. The original copy (the girl’s) was probably replicated to near perfection thanks to Bijay’s clear pronunciation but likely hastily so. Bijay likely found some difficulty in reading and understanding his “assistant’s” sloppy handwriting and made some mistakes. Let’s not also lose sight of the fact that English is not their first language so making a few grammatical errors by mere hearsay is understandable. Case closed 📖📘
