I'm 67 years old and have been playing Wildlands for several years and love it. (It's actually the only game I'm playing right now several times a week). I only play Open World Games and as far as I'm concerned, this game is the best one of them all, and I've pretty much played them all. My second favorite Open World Game is Skyrim, third GTA5. I have already preordered "Starfield", just waiting for its release in 12 days. I also can't wait for GTA6 and Elder Scrolls 6 to be released. I just hope they come out before I die. All that being said, I will continue to play Wildlands forever. I love this game so much. It's a dream of mine that Ubisoft would remaster Wildlands for the new consoles and add a Zombie DLC to it. Wildlands is the perfect game to add Zombies to.

It is still hardcore tacitcal shooter, depending on your settings. Playing with no hud with advanced diffuculty on ghost mode makes the game quite immersive.
The world is actually really well detailed, NPCs have their own daily schedule, there are lot of cool details referencing real life locations and history of Bolivia.

I bought the game when it first came out 2018 , fast forward today I never came close to finishing this game not even a qt , without the ugly gun shoulder placing and somewhat clunky character models and gear , this game way better than breakpoint, and the enemies are tough in this game

Just passed the campaign mode for the second time not to long ago and can’t wait to start a new one. Best shot tier game out there in my opinion.
As a veteran from 2018, Wildlands will always be a better choice than Breakpoint. And sure there are some bugs but the game is full of action and dull moments at the same time.
Adding to this, people say the combat isn't the best, but considering the developers gave up on this game a while ago its a pretty great game.
I think it's safe to say that Breakpoint's world can't keep up with Wildland's world. 😊

Got the Just For You special for this game on Xbox and the Ultimate Edition, usually cost $120, now discounted only for me down to $14.40. Been contemplating in getting it because the deal is very good plus I did play this sort of game a little bit. I might get but I wish these sorts of games came with more badass customization on my avatar.
This is still better than most shooters of today.
Once a game sets a benchmark, it is hard to beat.
This game really shines on hardest level with no hud! It's a total different experience then.

Still play it to this day. Reminds me of old Socom 2/3. If it's too easy, turn off HUD elements and turn on that Tier Mode + Ghost Mode.

10/10 must have, played it since 2017. The permadeath campaign mode called Ghost mode is amazing.
I bought it during the Steam Autumn Sale and am currently playing. I think this is one of the best tactical shooter out there.

Villages aren't empty, they're full of civilians but once you run through it with blasters they all run away and hide, try exploring villages without being in a gunfight and you'll experience the nice side of Wildlands, bands playing music, children playing with each other, civilians going about they're days, also try this on pc, also I understand the frustration but consoles aren't made for shooter games, just because you can't preaim or aim fast enough to enjoy tactical gameplay with controller compared to the accuracy and swiftness of mouse

Had this since its launch, haven’t played for literally years, thought I’d give it a go a few days ago, god damn, it’s a great game.

For a couple of years to play this game. Found it a month ago for an acceptable price. Love it. Plenty of guns. Love the semiautomatic sniper rifles.
Don't love the Unidad soldiers. They will never go away once triggered. You have to get out of their sight far enough. Than they give up. Sometimes I have a Fat Cry 4 vibe. (Play Far Cry 4, than you know what I mean). And sometimes I feel like in a modern Far Cry 2 game. Overall love it. Very detailed and thought-out.

I played this quite a few years ago after AI & Games' video on how the squadmates worked, and it was quite fun. Nothing super special cos it's Just Another Ubisoft Game, but systematically dismantling an enemy stronghold was quite satisfying.
Totally agree. Getting past layers of drone jammers, mortars, SAMs and towers was fun. Shame there wasn't more of that. Otherwise... Ubisoft is Ubisoft.

After 2+ years i finally put the disc in my PS4 console and beat the game in 2023.
It's worth playing it.

I still play this gem of a game can't help myself with annoying Unidad or the cartel it is just awesome.
Do you also sometimes start a fight with Unidad with a weapons cash close by to take revenge and kill as many as you can?

It is an adventure to go through this game. The "skilltree" is rewarding, the atmosphere of the game's world is really well done. And the guns feel good.

Just reset my world so I can do TH-cam videos on this I wish they had a customized item shop tho so u can buy individual guns and customizations like breakpoint that was the one thing I liked about breakpoint

I hear that! Co-op can make mediocre games SO much better.
That's my take on so many games, although probably for different reasons. Careers wreak havoc on one's social life and free time. So Coop play is almost all I bother with.

I played Ghost Recon: Breakpoint before playing Wildlands, but I find Wildlands more challenging compared to Breakpoint...
I love this game, it scratches my MGS itch. I just turn off AI teammates and play solo dolo tackling boliva like a silent ghost.
This was free for my subscription but I couldn't pay for it one time and it's no longer on Playstation plus ubisoft knew how good it is and leave it at full price and abandon breakpoint
It was on sale not long ago for 9$, along with breakpoint. Breakpoint was abandoned a 2 years back
Not worth buying breakpoint though since it's online only and they might kill it like the crew...

i just played this year, i unlocked tier one mode and reach tier 37 and halfway done to 36 then i stopped tier one mode. its too broken and unbalanced. compared tier one mode to extreme difficulty its like day and night differences. even extreme difficulty is like a childplay compared to tier one mode. my nomad die in TWO hits for fvck sake in tier 37 locked in advanced difficulty. the game is indeed better than breakpoint but breakpoint is more pretty in visual.

I played breakpoint first on ps5. I tried wildlands cuz of what people say but the menu was terrible graphics were far worse and the game play sluggish. For me breakpoint on ps5 beats it by far.
False info from the getgo. Every kill in is a one shot kill from any weapon as long as you are not detected.
