The freelancing counterpart to MechWarrior 2, where the Inner Sphere strikes back! A bit buggy, but perhaps the most influential of the Mech2 trilogy. "Look at the bright side, kid. You get to keep ALL the money."

WIPEOUT 3 AND SPECIAL EDITION - Best of OG Wipeout
Its a cheap game too so im interested lol looks nice
i’ve never heard of this game and just stumbled upon your channel, but i was hooked by your high quality commentary and analysis, well done video!
Hey everyone, before buying need a small tip , are the servers still online for multiplayer? Had it on pc from day one , now I would give it a try on xbox, cheers
08:22 you absolute psycho, you absorbed an autopilot??? 😆
having tried the ps2 port first, and the psp version much later,i can say the ps2 version is infinitely more difficult than the psp version.the ps2 version has a lot more of collision stacking than the psp version, making the two hardest difficulties much, much harder.it took me some time to master it on psp,but i could never finish it on ps2.i got stuck much before the end
i cant even say its ¨to futuristic¨ i mean we are getting closer sure somethings are still out there but alot we have similar stuff also we have Jon Bernthal so thats automatically 5/10
The PS2 version can be quite a good way to play if you use an emulator with a 60fps patch. Plus with emulators like PCSX2 you don't really have to worry as much about the corruption glitch as it uses a separate virtual memory card for each game.
Anyone still playing rhis? I need allies lol
I really feel sad for 2015. it ended up being criminally underrated. And it honestly EA should have given Ghost a little bit more dev time. Just a bit more more polish. A bit more content to play. A few more body kits. The game feels a bit sparse and barren and while its successor HEAT does have the content 2015 lacks, the vibes just arent the same.
I wish this was on Xbox ffs. I'm desperate for another anti gravity racer akin to F-Zero GX and Fast Racing Neo.
Almost 10 years ago when I was 6 I saw this from my sister's PlayStation and that made me surprised :)
there's no other game like breakpoint. for better or worse. they might've tried to copy from other games but it is its own game now. you don't get the same experience anywhere else. there's so much freedom on how you can play this game. I'm just hoping ubisoft never shuts their servers down.
Them bushes were heinous
What lovely track did you use for playing in the background here? gives off deep pulsating sensations
How can I download it or purchase it on pc
"One of those rare cases where it's actually for the better" It seems that he forgot about the abundance of PS2 Europe shovelware.
13:12 it’s such bs
Duuuude you're back finally!! And with MY favourite MW of all!! What a great comeback
Thanks Lucian! Glad you enjoyed Mercenaries, its right up there with my favorites.
I paid full price for this game when it 1st came out and was very disappointed recently i heard it was different so tried it again and im loving this game now and i also thing its better than wildlands now.
"Dudes a little fox!" 😆 Congratulations on 5K subs! Your channel deserves sooo many more!
Awww thanks so much!
At the time, I rarely had access to stores that had a good inventory of games. I did manage to get Mechwarrior 2 and Ghost Bear's Legacy, but I never had saw a glimpse of Mercenaries. (The mail order game stores had iffy reputations, so they weren't an option either) So I've been happily flying clan colors since.
Well that works too!
I love wipeout. Always have and I still play it on my ps5 now. Loved it on hand held
My PC at the time could only dream of running MW2, but I used to visit a friend with powerful rig just to see this one moving. The memories, man…
Heh! I was lucky enough to play it at the time, but not nearly this well.
I got sucked into the mechwarrior franchise, and i think you might be the cause of it. I became aware of mechwarrior through one of your earlier videos, and now im even reading the books and recently bought 5 on sale, so thanks for that XD
I'm so glad for you, enjoy!!
i grew up w this game 30 years ago and this is a good review of it
Thank you!
I just started this game about 5 hours ago after first playing Wildlands for a few days and curious how the sequel looked and felt. I'm absolutely having a great time. Before this I played through stalker and was looking for something similar but maybe better until stalker polishes up a few things. I had literally never heard of either of these games, or at least never went near any Tom Clancy for some reason so I'm experiencing it with a clear mind. This is literally my all time favorite game now probably because it's new to me. I was reluctant to give cyberpunk another go but I'm glad I did... I always wondered, though, if I had waited to play cyberpunk NOW I would have had the best experience... Well I'm getting it from this game specifically. And it feels like a manly game. Not a soyboy game. I appreciate that since it is war and all. It ought to be brutal.
Its ight. If I had known about the wide screen bug fix I would have liked it more. The only good song I liked was smartbomb but the other soundtracks were forgettable. It was fun to play through and I like how the ship visually showed damage but its one of those games I probably would play again.
The Achilles heel of the Omega Collection is the inability to play your own music in game. HD/Fury on the PS3 had this feature and allowed your own music to flash to the beat when in zone mode and applied echo sound effects when you go through a tunnel. I know with the PS4 you can play spotify in the background or whatever but its not the same. Apart from that, the graphics, adding VR, the new ship pick up voices, its a superb collection.
I paid $1.99 for this game and have been sitting on it for a while. I just started playing it and wow, it awesome. I get some of the so called downsides to the game. But i am from the greatest gaming generation who grew up with an NES. Heck i even played DOS games on pc. (If you know, you know) So whatever flaws this game might have if compared to modern games, it still towers over games from the past. I guess its all how you look at it. I can say that if i had this game as a kid it woukd have easily been one of the best games. Ive only been playing it for a few hours but i am completely happy with it. For the price, its easily one of the best games in my lineup, by my standards of course. If you want to love this game too, just dont be a nit picker and you will!
I got this game digitally from Xbox to play on my series X months ago. I really enjoyed the game due to being Rocketeer for a few hours at a time. I'm 53 so to me games are playsets to pretend I'm in a different world and immersed. I'm young at heart and enjoy things for what they are. Not what I want. And find amusement where others miss the fun . Keep on Rockin in the Free world Bub Bub.
I love the wipeout series and I believe the Automobile version is Ridge racer. Look at the aesthetics and gameplay. Drift is important in both IPs. Anyway, I like this N64 version of wipeout. But Ridge racer N64 sux in my opinion. Really enjoyed the series of videos produced by The review den. Keep on Rockin in the Free world...
My favorite wipeout was fusion.
TDU I PS2 and PSP still is an underrated masterpiece even in 2025.
Didn’t this game have a casino money glitch?
Turn off all HUD and you'll be blown away
My Dad bought me this game right when it came out. I probably spent 10,000 hours on this game.
0:16 This is the exact moment I decided to like and subscribe.
So glad games have come so far that now I can buy a complete game and run around at top level with 0 cosmetics bc they are all downloadable crap that costs money. Nothing feels better than a constant level 1 esthetic
Song name at 17:00?
can we play netmech????
This game kickstarted my interest in the series, and yet nowadays it's the WipEout game I play the least haha. Oops. I love the PS2 and I respect this game for getting me to where I am today. Also OST still rocks
This was amazing, thank you
I just got the ultimate edition which comes with all dlc everything every made for the game and it was only $30aud which is about $20usd so very cheap considering everything you get so I had to get it. However I still haven't played wildlands yet and I have the ultimate edition of that game as well I also got it on sake for even less from memory. I start with wildlands and then have a break for a year then play breakpoint so I don't get burnt out.
Just started wild lands and I love it! This video has given me confidence that I’ll live Breakpoint too. Added to the list 😁
I built an old Windows 7 PC over Christmas with a 3rd gen Intel I7 and a GTX1060 GPU. I've been playing TDU2 solo (still have the original boxed CD) and loving it. TDSC has been a bit of a disappointment.
I remember the 2D pixel art version on the phone and thought it looked better and played better than these newer games, this new version reminds me of the new 1942 which is not that good imho. Good review although I disagree with a lot of your points.
What's the name of the background music you used in this video?
I effectionately call it Costco Core, and I absolutely love that we get the AC NEXT experience in this day and age. Shame that it seems that the sequel, Nimbus Infinite, has a bit of a rough spot. Will you be covering that?
5:08 dude, is this modded? I do not remember LRMs being able to go indirect like that in MW2.
Can you play this on PS5 the physical disc?
