Yes, viscose is a nice fabric - touch, movement, keep you cool in summer. But the process of making it is more harmful than making polyester. It's very dangerous for the workers themselves. :(
I don't remember being told this about viscose, back when i learned about fabrics.. It's only recently that i learned this. When i (re)started sewing and i had to learn about the different fibers and weaves... Because i can't really sew without knowing this stuff... ;p

Which version or the Free range slacks are you doing? I am just finishing a hacked version (into shorts) of the cropped version in a cotton poplin. But I think I will do the tapered version in a navy linen. Going to learn to do flat felled seams! Wish me luck. Love all your makes ❤️

Hi Mary, I originally made the tapered leg with the flat felled seams. I have a video on it on my channel. I love them. So I'll probably make the same. The shape and style is just so perfect. You'll enjoy making them too. Thank you so much for your kind words. xx

Mini vlogs are fun. The fabric looks great and your outfit fun. What type of commission work do you have most often?

Thank you. So I write projects for magazines (most common work I do) and we also make bespoke cushions for a local fabric design company. x
