@Showofcrafts • Why don't you show WHAT you are making BEFORE you start the instructions? You don't even tell us in the descriptipn box. I'm not going to spend my time watching until I know what I am watching for. When I want to watch a mystery, I will watch a movie, not a "How-to" channel. 👎🏼
Thanks. Hopefully, soon, all the diy will be like this. Presenters will have to be skilled enough to show that they are! And we'll never have to hear, not only chit chat, but those awful over used lines like " let's get to it," let's jump right in," I'm going to show you how,"(? no kidding? It IS a tutorial isn't it?) And my all time personal favorite, "Then go ahead and," then just go ahead and," then you go ahead and. . ." Sure we can turn off the sound but there's usually no written notes, and the tute is so much longer. Also, this way we only usually see hands, not ppl who look like they just rolled out of bed! Won't it just be glorious?!🫠😍🤩
@Its me or whatever You know I do this all the time too. I save good clips to re-watch so it's convenient for me. And I am also a creator if you want to know. Get down you High Horse and stop shooting at ppl you don't know That's it.
If you want to see the projects at the end, move the red dot on the timer to the end. If you move it slowly you will be able to see a small window of the video as you move it along. I usually do this rather than watching until the end as I may not be interested in knowing how to do it. I also go to the Settings and change the Playback speed to 1.25, 1.50, or even faster. The sound will be distorted if you go to 1.50 or faster, but if it's just music in the background I put my volume right down low. However you will also find that much of the speech you will still be able to understand it at 1.25, and depending upon how slow the speech is, you will still be able to understand it even at 1.50. You will find the Settings in the top right hand corner where there are a few little dots in a vertical line. You can then return to the start of the video if it's something that interests you. I do this with a lot of videos because I get frustrated if things go on too long just because someone has a very slow drawl. I've even done it with a few audiobooks! 😀 I hope that this will ease some of your frustrations.
I thought it a charming way to show how to do it. Love the way you show the "machine stitching" and pressing and yes we don't know the ending but for the time invested it's a nice surprise.
I love love love these quick and simple things to make. Love that the instructions are to music. Too many talk a lot. I can do these in 10 minutes and I can scroll forward to look at the finished product and did i mention I can make these in 9 minutes. Keep them coming, so fun.
Pattern #2 - the jewelry pouch - is exceptional. You can make it larger or smaller by just drawing around plates of various sizes. It can be used as a gift bag. This works up well on a serger (overlocker).
Please be more realistic with timings. No way any of these pretty items can be made in 10 minutes. Measuring and cutting fabric can take several minutes alone and that’s before the actual sewing and pressing.
Generally, when someone says the project takes a certain amount of time, they are referring to the ‘hands on’ time creating the item, NOT the time spent selecting and prepping materials and tools. Realistically, I could create any of these creative items in about 10 minutes, once I had what I needed to do it.
I really like the little travel kit, and the mask-holder/wallet. There's no way a slow sewist like myself could make these in 10 minutes, though - half an hour maybe, LOL! Nice video - the pacing is good, the instructions are clear even without narration, and it's easy to see every step along the way. As others have mentioned, it would be nice to know at the beginning what the finished project will be.
Yes. That's the only mistake, having to waste time moving to the end of the vid to see if it's something you want to make in the first place. It's considered bad sport in the USA to elicit ppls cooperation before letting them know if they are even interested in the end result. Ppl resent not being given a choice.
@@sunshineandwarmth. What you are saying is true but I think people everywhere feel the same way. I just skip ahead to see the project before wasting my time on something I’m not interested in.
Thank you for the tutorials and for playing it at a speed that is easy to follow. There are some projects I would really like to try, but I can never keep up. Could you please show how to make the flower detail on the eyeglass case. I would really like to try this one and I love the embellishment! This embellishment would not be a one of because it could be used on so many other projects as well. Thanks!

@@yvonnetomenga5726thank you. My thoughts exactly.
@@yvonnetomenga5726these kind of videos are a waste of time, I no longer bother to watch them
@Jennifer85987 I've learned my lesson in the past year. If the thumbnail doesn't show the end result, I tell TH-cam, "Not Interested."
I love your style of video. No wasted chit chat - just get right into it. Delightful projects. Thank you!!

Thanks for showing me I don't need any of these things so I'm not watching this video.
Could you show the finished project first? It's frustrating not knowing where we're going with this but projects are great. Thank you!.
I totally agree. I start to watch and then I just get frustrated because I don’t know what it’s supposed to be
Thought the same
Agreed. Thought the eyeglass holder was a Barbie pillow at first@
Totally agree. I quit watching because of that!
The 10 minute time frame is kind of funny.
I love that you picked two colors literally the same color as your background I LOVE THAT FOR YOU!!
The ideas are cute for those who have scraps in their stash. And don’t ever be afraid of working with zippers… they are so easy!
Practical, no-nonsense instructions, thank you

Yes, it's kinda like watching. "short" with a complete project at the end!
