The PC boots and Windows is starting but not able to access the windows menu or launch any programs. Any software that normally starts automatically (such as Steam and other does not launch). Any tips on how to solve this would be most appreciated 🙏 PS - Apologies for my bad english 😇

right click on your taskbar, any open space, then click "Taskmanager" In task manager, on the left click "Startup Apps", there you will see all the apps that start up with your PC, they will have the status of "Enabled" or "Disabled", right click on one your want, then select Enabled. After you have selected all the ones you want, restart your PC. Let me know if this works for you.

Well, it will work, but its getting to the point that its not enough. Sure, its good for games, but you have all of Windows as well, and it takes up a good chunk of that. You can hold out for a little longer, but when I build a machine for me, for myself, its 32GB or higher.
hey boss, i have a quick question. in my bios for the ASUS z690 TUF Gaming Plus Wifi do you recommend i manually set the PCIEx16(G5)_1 slot to Gen4, Gen5, or leave it on Auto? I see a difference between setting to gen4 to gen5, where 5 seems more stable and 4 seems like it responds faster but less stable? can you confirm if you notice any different and if not, do you recommend setting it to gen5/auto speed?
@@ThisBytesForYou got it. i have an rtx 3080 and i see that some people manually set the main PEG slot link to gen4 for compatibility, do you recommend doing this? won't the pcie 4.0 slots get used instead of the 5.0 ones if i set it to that manually?
Yes, since it is a Gen4 device. Gen 5 is backwards compatible, like Gen4, 3, 2, 1, etc but is not forwards compatible, so if you set it to Gen5 is may not POST.
I bought the same product and wanted to ask a question. Is it normal for the screws to look loose even though they are tight and for the underside to ''move''?
my friend, I wish I could tell you, but sadly I have to return Sapphire cards after I review them... gets me real upset but being a small creator, its the only way I can nab them
i'm planning to pair this with my current i7-7700 (upgrading from a 1050ti) and i am aware of possible bottlenecks but is there anything else i should know?
this is a lower end card, which should actually pair well with that cpu, how much ram do you have and what is the speed? Just know, you will need your OS to be full UEFI compliant and GPT. What is your motherboard manufacturer and model number as well?

yup, thats what they are for, you can use them as a 6Pin PCIE or an 8Pin PCIE, if you are using them as a 6Pin, you will have 2 pins just dangling out and that's OK. You will be fine.
@@ThisBytesForYou wow thanks boss.....anyways as far as I know the pcie 2.0 and 3.0 only gives 75w, and the 6 pin gives extra 75w, but the rx 580 sucks 185w, will it be fine?

You also dont need to disable on board video, you can leave it too, it will still work as long as you plug your monitor into the new graphics card you just installed.

You should be able to, the chipset has no issues with it, but maybe the specific board does, let me know the manufacturer and model number. A few things to look out for to make sure it will work though. 1. Make sure you are on the latest BIOS 2. Make sure you are on EUFI, not legacy 3. Make sure you are using an HDMI 2.1 cable or DP 1.4 cable. 4. Make sure your OS drive is set to GPT, not MBR.
@@ThisBytesForYou I'm using the MSI b450 mortar max and looking to upgrade from a rx570. CPU is a 3600 with stock wraith cooler. Also what would be better HDMI or DP for connecting to the monitor? Just found your channel and vids doing research. Love your work. You have earned a new subscriber
I prefer DP, because its a much more stable and steady connection, the current standard is 2.1 but there are not real 2.1 monitors, but 1.4 works great. HDMI is at 2.1, widely availably and it works great, it is slower than DP 2.1 but its hard to get a dp 2.1 monitor, so getting HDMi 2.1 or DP 1.4 would be good for you no matter what, sorry if I am confusing on this hahah. The reason I get into HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 is if you go lower than HDMI 2.1 or DP 1,4 you are almost guaranteed issues with AMD. So I hope that helps and I thank you so much for your support and kind words, it means the world to me.@@WiTRoOner
Because GPT is newer, allows for 2TB and larger drives an integrates directly into your BIOS, which since you are enabling UEFI will work correctly. Question for you, why wouldn't you?@@WiTRoOner

Waiting on your performance review video of this card, but it looks like this card is a disappointment from AMD in terms of performace according to what I've read so far. They even dropped the price before launching it.
Thank my friend, working hard on it, this card comes at a really bad time in my life, just lost my job and a bunch of family things are popping up, but still working to get it out. The price drop was discussed to all of us in the media a few days before it launched, I am surprised it's received such negativity, but you will see more from me on this. Price to performance,... is it really a disappointment, when its the most affordable card, I don't think it is, that's just my opinion but more on this soon.
Im good buddy, I just got a job, I start on Wednesday, its paying less, but its a lot higher in the totem pole (I can't say where I work though), thanks so much
wow, is English not your first language is it? Realize, 20 minutes because I am showing someone how to do it, the process itself takes like 7 minutes. Be pretty crappy to show someone how to do something extremely fast... they would not learn anything. You might be the perfect candidate for a console. You wrote "Take 20 minutes to install a gpu mine as well get a console with that 😂" So, I assume you wanted to write "might as well" So it would have been "Takes 20 minutes to install a GPU, might as well get a console with that" Which aside from the grammar issues makes no sense because you are stating that it takes 20 minutes, well, since it took 20 minutes, now go buy a console 😂. So maybe you meant to write "Takes 20 minutes to install a GPU, might as well get a console instead of a GPU." 😂 And it's good that you added the 😂 because you had to show your perceived dominance in the situation.

@Thisbytesforyou, i have a question for you. I travel a lot for work and have some time to kill at times when working. I am looking for a portable solution to game when im in hotel rooms. Portability and performance are equally important. Should i get the Rog Zephyrus G14 with the 6700s and higher resolution or the Rog Ally that games at 1080p on a small screen? Their fps look the same(ish) but at different resolutions. What would you do?
Personally I would recommend the Rog Zephyrus G14, not only can you game on it, but you can check and write emails, watch youtube, create videos for youtube, edit videos, etc... on the Ally,... you can play games. Its nice if you have the money to have them both, but 1 vs the other, the laptop wins to me. What do you think?
@ThisBytesForYou I appreciate it. I also am working on a masters degree so it would help with that as well. So what are your thoughts on the 6700S mobile gpu? The screen is the same as 1440p but 16:10 ratio. That gpu has 8gb vram. Do you think it would be sufficient in most games?
@@danielhulan3058 good stuff my friend, yeah it would be good though at 1440p I think it might suffer a bit, 1080p you would be solid. I will be releasing my 7600 review soon so it would help I think. Masters, congrats my friend, lots of hard work will pay off for sure.

Just upgraded from 1070 to RX 7600 and I'm just wondering if 16gb of DDR4 RAM is enough for playing games on 1080p or should I upgrade that too?
Well, it will work, but its getting to the point that its not enough. Sure, its good for games, but you have all of Windows as well, and it takes up a good chunk of that. You can hold out for a little longer, but when I build a machine for me, for myself, its 32GB or higher.
My mouse won’t show up when it’s time to chose troubleshoot on the choose an option screen
is it perhaps Bluetooth or wireless, that may not work here, you may need wired in safemode
hey boss, i have a quick question. in my bios for the ASUS z690 TUF Gaming Plus Wifi do you recommend i manually set the PCIEx16(G5)_1 slot to Gen4, Gen5, or leave it on Auto? I see a difference between setting to gen4 to gen5, where 5 seems more stable and 4 seems like it responds faster but less stable? can you confirm if you notice any different and if not, do you recommend setting it to gen5/auto speed?
Only if your devices are Gen4 or Gen5, try not to leave too much Audio and update your BIOS.
@@ThisBytesForYou gotcha. and doing this wont change the lane allocation? like it wont use PCH lanes instead of CPU lanes?
No, as long as it doesn't state it in your manual all the PCIE slots are controlled by your CPU.

With all the new games coming out that uses lots of vram why do they only put 8gb in the card lower end nvidia cards have the same

Also, not everyone is a gamer. Video editing and productivity, office work, and a lot of works are there for which people buy this card

1. Make sure you are on the latest BIOS
2. Make sure you are on EUFI, not legacy

Take 20 minutes to install a gpu mine as well get a console with that 😂
wow, is English not your first language is it? Realize, 20 minutes because I am showing someone how to do it, the process itself takes like 7 minutes. Be pretty crappy to show someone how to do something extremely fast... they would not learn anything.
You might be the perfect candidate for a console.
You wrote "Take 20 minutes to install a gpu mine as well get a console with that 😂"
So, I assume you wanted to write "might as well"
So it would have been "Takes 20 minutes to install a GPU, might as well get a console with that"
Which aside from the grammar issues makes no sense because you are stating that it takes 20 minutes, well, since it took 20 minutes, now go buy a console 😂.
So maybe you meant to write "Takes 20 minutes to install a GPU, might as well get a console instead of a GPU." 😂
And it's good that you added the 😂 because you had to show your perceived dominance in the situation.
