- Aerials footage of the tallest skyscraper under construction in the United States, 270 Park Avenue, New York City. 1,388ft (423m), 60-story building with 1.2million square feet of curtain wall. Its east & west facades feature diamond patterns made from commercial bronze. Scheduled for completion in 2025.
These men are standing on the edge of a precipice every day!!! They’re building our cities…
The Citi Corp and the Chrysler, once among the tallest in the city, are dwarfed by so many of these recent giants. Amazing.
More on this building please. I wish the old days could've been documented like this. Maybe show the interior being worked on, the elevators, trim work etc. I liked the topping off vid, especially at night!!

I have worked on a few 25 story buildings in San Francisco and the SF Airport, these jobs are amazing and the workers that build it are the real golden globe winners ,not the actors pretending to be us.😎💯👍 3:37

It’s nice to see a super tall that’s wider than a 7-11.
Most super talls are dick measuring contests for residential and you need small floor plates for residential, especially so when you want almost all units to be full floor.
The lowest tier floors are about the size of a football field - including the end zones.

Why they didn't clean the seal surfaces between windows inserts. It should be clean by air and grease by silicone, to protect the rubber and keep it seal against water and wind. Also, not all metal parts been covered by insulation, you can see open rusty metal without insulation, meanwhile the workers almost finished with windows frame installation

When I lived in New York, I worked at 270 Park Avenue when it was Manufacturers Hanover in a much smaller building than this (it was originally the Union Carbide building designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill). I don't see how this new building can be feasible economically with so much empty office space in New York these days, largely a result of the covid pandemic. Obviously this building was planned long before the pandemic.
It's very tall but it only has 60 floors. Ceilings that are 20 feet high?

America' s skyline only refers to New York City and Chicago.
I don’t see the views, only that these labourers/Roustabouts using their safety equipment all wrong, bit of coaching needed as fall arrest equipment must always be overhead to be effective as per design, not hanging horizontally. If there’s an onsite safety guy worth his salt, he should be intervening to correct these breaches on working at height safety standards. Other than that job looks to be straight forward enough.
