On page 24 of the owners guide the helpful tips number three when switching from pressure cooking to using the crispinn lid it is recommended to empty the pot of any remaining liquid for the best crisping results. Nobody is saying this on TH-cam.
I have been using mine for over a year and I must say, IT IS THE GREATEST GADGET I HAVE EVER BOUGHT! It makes the best jasmine rice, pot roast, chicken nuggets (for the kids, wink), chicken wings, ribs, fried rice, chili, HARD BOILED EGGS (yes the best I have ever made), the list goes on. I have put mine through the ringer with every recipe on purpose to see what it can do, it can do it all. Say goodbye to a crock pot that takes 8 hours when you get the same results in 1 or less. I am not part of their company , just a big fan!
I just bought one and now I am soooooo excited!! I've never had a pressure cooker before and heard so much about air fryers that I had to treat myself before I really treat myself. I'm going to be making so many things!!! Your comment has me hyped!!
pressure cooking pushes the flavor into the meat, don't have to keep checking anything unless you're making fries or something that need stirred. i got the deluxe and love it. eliminated 4 things in my kitchen dehydrator, slow cooker, air fryer, and pressure cooker. i use mine pretty much daily.
I own it and I think it’s worth every penny. I like to bake/grill chicken without pressure cooking. I still add water to the bottom to keep the meat moist, and it works beautifully. I get crispy brown chicken on the outside but super juicy inside. Love it!
My boyfriend bought this & I absolutely love it we make everything in it from roasted chicken, fish, meat loaf, veggies everything lol it’s definitely a Win!
I don't have instructions in Russian, but thanks to the subtitles of yandex translator, you can understand how to make a culinary masterpiece. thank you
Thank you for the directions and the review. Just got one for Christmas. Don’t want to buy any more unhealthy rotisserie chicken from the store, I want to make my own.
LOVE my Ninja Foodi since I don’t have to get my whole kitchen hot when use my oven and there is sooooo many recipes that save me time for a busy family and HEALTHY! 🙋🏻♀️✌🏻
I love my Ninja Pro Foodi and that is what I will stick with. I have used it to make steaks when the weather outside was so horrible and they came out great. It makes great beef jerky, fries and just about anything else. Shalom
I bought a Phillips air fryer for 180$ 3 years ago, so I think this gadget is great. Hope this channel provide a clean up clips, so the viewer could have a better understanding indirectly
Did you get one?? It's really easy to clean and fun to look up recipes here on youtube and EVERYTHING I've cooked in mine for the past 6 months has turned out soooo yummy!! I really hope you pulled the trigger and got one for yourself - you would/will LOVE IT!! 👍👊
How do you fit this machine under the top cabinet on the counter top with the lid stays vertically attached to the system if you want to use the pressure cooker?
Looks good but she’s right about a brine. Throw some brown sugar, garlic/garlic powder, onion/onion powder, and mixed with oil on the skin. Tastes like Boston Market skin.
I have watched several You Tube shows on cooking a roasted chicken in the Ninja Foodi. In addition i read my manual.. Every show used a different time in the pressure cooker from 15 to 22 minutes. One You Tube show which pressure cooked 15 minutes said chicken was not cooked to temperature. I wish there was a chart to assist by showing minutes per pound.. I guess I experiment tonight..
I think this type of stuff is awesome for people who don't have a full blown oven in their kitchen. I'm moving out to a new city and I will be renting a room in an apartment. If the kitchen doesn't have an oven, I'll probably invest in one of these for meal prep.

Don't get it twisted, peeps. If you've never owned an air fryer, you're not going to get a deep fried kind of crust for all the foods one would normally deep fry. It's literally just a convection oven. On price, you can totally get an instant pot and air fryer below $120 or below. I have
I honestly find the second lid attached on top kinda annoying and in the way when cooking, however it is still kinda convenient as there is no need to go through the trouble to take out another air fryer
@@amandagagnon6289 I absolutely LOVE this all-in-one gadget! You are so right, I haven't used my brand new stainless steel pots/pans set since buying the 8qt Ninja Foodi about 3 months afterward! I don't think about meals and prep until my stomach starts to remind me of the void within... the Ninja Foodi is sooo fast and easy for me and finding recipes is almost a lil fun here on youtube! Lol
My Kids bout this for me last Christmas best this I ever got it is so worth getting. Had a cuisinart air fryer junk compared the the foodi. The pan was ruined in less than 3 months. Foodi had 1 year and still wipes clean and no sticking.
honestly just put the chicken into the oven for 45minutes (about same time it took for this cooker)... done. Air fryer has it's place for quick 5-15min items.. .this cooker is not exactly small...
I had a fire in my oven and can’t afford to replace it right now but I had the Ninja for 3 years now…I have never learned how to use all of the functions until now
I'd like to know what happens to the added liquid during the air frying process. Do you end up with drippings to baste the final product or to use for gravy or stock?
I am really new to this but yes it is like a rich broth. In the future I will experiment with sauces and soups but at the moment I am just using it to mix into my dogs food, (honest kitchen dehydrated dog food). Needless to say...my dog is loving that, but I just learned that an ice cube tray works really nice for freezing it and moving it to a labeled ziplock freezer bag for later recipes.
It might just be Esther's diminutive frame, but this machine looks bigger than either an air fryer or a pressure cooker. Maybe not as big as two. But still sizeable. Monstrous even. If it's a problem for you, it is. If it's not, it's not.
Yeah! Thank you so much for doing this! I saw it advertised but wasn’t sure but Ninja has made pretty reliable products with vast improvements so this one was on my radar and will be in my kitchen.
I've had my ninja foodi 8qt for about 6 months and absolutely love it! I'm a single dad and this gadget works perfectly for my 17yr old son and me, as I don't usually put a lot of thought into meal prep and the ninja foodi is ready to make quick and delicious meals in a jiffy! Easy to clean up as well - perfect (again!) for this single dad of a teen boy! 👍👍 def 2 thumbs up from me 😁
For cooking it is nice, if you try to clean it, not so much. I would not get another one. If you try to clean the top grill in the orig. lid, it is really hard , even impossible . The lever for pressure cooking is not working. So for the price, they have to improve the cleaning for sure.
i bought this model after watching this video. With Christmas coming up and the recession and energy crisis in the UK, we are pinching pennies everywhere we an. I have a SmartMetre and can watch my energy on the monitor. Since I bought this Ninja I have stopped using my oven and stovetop. The kettle is next. The microwave is faster for boiling water and more efficient. Thanks for the review! 👍🏻
Don't boil water in the microwave. I noticed boiling in the microwave changes the water somehow. When I put a bag of any tea in microwave boiled water a little foam forms on the surface, I dont get that effect when I put the same tea bag in kettle boiled water....
Should have seasoned during the initial pressure cooking. That chicken is cooked well but totally unseasoned (in spite of the seasoning during the air fry stage).
Truth Seeker It’s not hard to clean. All the splatter is contained in the bottom liner, which cleans easily in the sink with some soap and a sponge. The fry basket takes a little scrubbing with a plastic brush or scrub pad and more soap and water. You should obviously spray off the pressure lid if you use it, and wipe off the grill on the fry lid with a damp cloth. But you don’t really clean the fry lid because it gets so hot that most grease just burns off during use.
I stopped roasting whole chickens. Instead, I now use the spatchcocking method and I use a cast iron skillet. Takes about the same amount of time and the results are awesome. That being said, if and when my current pressure cooker dies, I would consider the Ninja foodi. Hopefully., it won't be obsolete unlike the latest smartphone 😎

How u do it???
What size do you have?
I agree less use of our oven and kitchen stays cleaner 🫠
May want to mention that the chicken should rest before carving. Also, that the temperature of the meat should be 165 degrees for safety.
the best part is that when the chicken is done the display just says COOL
atomly I have to agree. 😂😂

cool as in meaning it is cooling down. Not "Cool 😎😎" lol

The Ninja Foodi is the best!! We’ve had the 8qt for almost a year and the results are some blazing fast cooked AMAZING food!
I watch this series faithfully, the host gives really good advice and reviews. Love this!!!
Shouldn't you have removed the liquid after pressure cooking? Also take the chicken out, dry it and then coat the entire bird with oil/seasoning?
I also thought something was wrong
Do you HAVE wait until chicken is done cooking to season?
Absolutely not.
