Thank you for continually documenting these processes. Much appreciated. One correction I would offer is that air can be compressed whereas fluid cannot. That is why fluid is used rather than air. The compressability of air is what leads to a spongy feel.
You won't believe this! Been restoring and customizing a 996 for the past year making it a show bike. One last thing being done was installing gold wheels and our local Ducati Dealership dropped my bike off the lift. Mind blowing!
@ 650ib, love your content, I got my dream bike end of last July, ever since I’ve been riding motorcycles I’ve always wanted a Ducati, found a used 2017 959, picked it up & 2 weeks later I wrecked it after hitting a curb doing roughly 25/30, luckily only thing i hurt was my pride, but the bike had some damage, alot more than I bargained for after having a friend piece it back together I picked it up knowing something wasn’t right, brought it to my local Ducati dealer & after losing my job over the winter & a large repair bill, my bike still sits until I can afford to go get it. I watch your content because you seem like such a genuine down to earth dude & I hope to one day get to ride, not race, along side you. Thank you
Hey Bro. Sorry to hear about your accident but I'm happy you weren't injured. Your bike will get repaired soon and we look forward to seeing you on the road with it 💯🦾🙏🏿
Love & respect from India. Following you from 4 years and counting .You are my mentor who actually gave me the real wisdom of super bikes & pure love for these machines. You are living my dream sir.💯 I so wish may one day I ride besides you. & do smack down . And of course, Mr. Zack “the professor”Much admiration and respect .
I didnt know how to get off collar from support calliper (10:10 minutes), after your video a lerned how, thanks a lot. I bought a stylema callipers put on my F800R 2015, but I didn't yet because this doubt.
Wet boiling point is brake fluid is boiling point with certain percentage of water present in the fluid. Brake fluid nature is absorbing water from the air and water will drop the boiling point of the fluid. Boiling fluid is bad for brake and will make the brakes feel spongy and mushy. That's why we need to change and flush brake fluid regularly.
This channel has been there for ages with only less than 500K subscribers. I believe getting those mods to real action will gain more viewers and subs, this channel needs track days with real feedback on the performance of these mods. Superbikes are built to scream not get hairstyles at the workshop. I love this channel and would love to see more coming out of it.
Thanks for GREAT video! So great brake setup!! The brake fluid (oil) will suck in moisture from air. When it is new it is dry and when it is old it is wet (after absorbing 3.7% water by volume) and when it gets hot then the water will vaporize and cause mushiness in form of air bubbles. There is silicone brake fluid that does not absorb water and thus doesn't need changing, but you have to have a new system or wash all old fluid out before you can apply.
I dont think there is magic between freshly changed fluids no matter they are ten bucks or a hundred a bottle. Pure fluid does not compress, so the difference as he says is the boiling point. But to get feel with more expensive fluid is a matter of opinion I think.
Bleeding the ABS is only possible if you have BMW’s diagnostic tools, or the GS-911. With the GS-911 it’s a simple procedure and only takes a minute. Always worth doing after sumping the brake system imo.
Hey man much love from the UK, i love all these build series! but what do you do with all the OEM stock parts you take off? do they go with the bike to whoever wins it?
Bit of misinformation in this video. The nissin calipers are pretty good stock with vented pistons, the Stylema's arent really an upgrade (unless you have hayes) like the GP-RX's would be. Also the K67 stock master cylinder is 19mm pre 2022 not 17mm. With Stylema calipers you'll need a 17mm master cylinder as it uses smaller 30mm pistons, the 2022+ nissin calipers have 30mm pistons too.
I'm surprised Zach is doing the zip tie on the handle thing. It does not release excess air. All it does it set the memory of the caliper seals. That's why the effect diminishes within a few rides. It's useless.
@@ferociousfrankie it's 1 zip tie, not saving anyone's time trying to make a point against it expecting someone to know useless tips. There's been plenty of other folks I know with success from this method on dozens of bikes without diminishing effects.
@@ferociousfrankie ok bud keep trying to make a point outta nothing. You're far from more qualified than Zach but keep dreamin' one little zip tie getting you bent outta shape xD
This was an awesome video with real live examples of how our parts work with each other! Thanks again for another amazing video!
Thanks for the compliment and you're welcome 🦾
Got this exact brake setup laying around the house. Just having to order new brake lines. Thx Zack for the clear instructions!
He said you're welcome 🦾

I changed my brake fluids a few times. Zach is very good at explaining the whole process.

Ib Zach is a Genious
Indeed he is 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Not a genius he’s a great mechanic who loves what he does and makes a fine living from it. The geniuses are the people who invent these things

Gotta agree with Zack on this one...front fender is a little too chunky! Bike looks great otherwise!
Filming your intro in my driveway, also it’s not farm country 🤣 just the middle of nowhere.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's beautiful out there
Liking the upgrades! The 2023 M1000 just sitting in the back looking like a menace. Waiting for the M1000 content!

I thought everyone knew how brakes worked. I guess not. Glad I grew up wrenching on my Mx bikes .
Nice Job Zack! Love the tips and tricks! Thanks ib!
Dope episode.
Zach bringing the cerebral always makes the vlog.
Congratulations on 400k ib 👊

Thanks for sharing Zack the master mechanic !!!!! ✊💯
Is the cosa corsa master cylinder brake light switch plug and play or does it need to be modified?
Man I love your content you should upload more often videos I can't wait ♥️
Thank you very much ❤️❤️❤️❤️
May i know the brake efficiency after installing these calippers? It become like the previous models like 2015-2018?
Notifications on cuz I'm fast as F😮 love from Miami Beach Florida Sky champion on powamoto 🎉
Thanks so much Bro!
Keep it going sir! we want to see more upgrades! 😃
Can i use the calipers with the stock master cylinder? And whats the part number for the caliper?
Awsome job man .
You should expand the new bike winning build series into canada as well .
How much it cost to make the same modifications? I mean all of it on this bike. And also how many time that take? thanks in advance.
Do you know if the 2014 s1000rr brembo calipers are a direct fit on a 2023 s1000rr bmw calipers?
Gucci sunglasses are amazing
Thanks Bro 🙏🏿
love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩
How about blue color M sport calipers?
Hey 650 I still have not seen the C8 Z06 video yet.
Coming this Saturday 🦾🦾🦾
My opinion, but this bike looks WAAAAYYY better than the HPX build. Very nice, ib.
Great Video. Beautiful Bike 👍🏿

I’m so scared to sign up again for another bike 😢 I lost hundreds dollars on the HP4 built.
Out of all your bikes, do you have a favorite?
2023 Ducati panigale V4 R
I ❤ brembo
Cool can't wait..😀

IB how can I win a dream while I am all the way in Namibia Africa?,do you cover shipping cost to where the person is in the world?
Please release the carbon busa video.
The red color of the bike will look killer with a couple of Carbon fibre parts and accessories.
People in India are just gonna watch and dream abt owning this beautiful machine .
Maybe some of them own them ?
All tym fav bike S1000RR Amen 🙏🏻 ❤️🫂💯
The castrol brake fluid is more expensive than the brembo
A carbon fiber wheels would've been so fitting on it.

wow keep up the good work👀
Let me get this straight, u spent 40k on a bike that needs a brake upgrade? 😂 if i spent that much on a bike upgrade should not be possible.
