So many things wrong with this video, that’s just the beginning. Red “boot” garden? Totally butchered the information about Temple Square. Redwood drive-in is permanently closed. Clearly this is just information coming from Internet searches. Don’t watch this video if you’re wanting to travel to Salt Lake. Go to a reputable source like Visit Salt Lake - the convention bureau‘s website.

I get it that English wasn’t the narrator’s first language, but if you’re going to present a travel log, you should make sure of pronunciations of the places you’re presenting.

So basically there's nothing to do in Salt lake
If you ever come to Utah there's a theme park called 'Lagoon' in Farmington just 25 minutes away from downtown. Its a lot of fun and the lines are not really long depending on the day. Usually I would say museums are boring but the museums in Salt Lake are actually insanely cool. If your a fan of 'High School Musical' we also have East High where it was filmed. Utah seems like a shit place but its actually kinda of beautiful! Our public library is also spectacular to be honest! Can't believe its ranked number 2 though, theres so much more to Salt Lake than just the places in this video!
Im gonna work at Lagoon Amusement Park as a Ride Operator this summer. Im from Turkey and this video just showed me how beautiful is Utah. Cant wait to come and live there for 3 months 😅

I live here....the air is horrific starting in January - the "inversion" is actually worse that LA. It takes a good snowstorm or rain to get rid of the inversion, and we can go weeks without a storm. Usually by April the air is pretty good again!

I was born there and I And yes, I still know the memory of me living there even though I moved out when I was 4. The air quality is absolutely trash.

I live in a tiny town in montana and going here for vacation, trust me bud you guys go a lot more than us, ima try in n out for the first time cuz all we got where I live for fast food is basically McDonald's, for things to do we got driving to Walmart and walk around or do drugs, if you're rich you can go skiing and stuff, tourist come to see glacier Park but I've lived here my whole life glacier park looks like the rest of the state and thats it

Was this video narrated by a bot? It seems like it uses terrible grammar throughout and some of its facts are questionable. Like saying the Great salt lake is a place to swim when in fact it's a very dirty lake and not pleasant at all and it will never be crowded because nobody goes to it. Also it's pronounced ekk-els theater.

Wow! Mentioning the Tabernacle, mispronouncing it and then showing the temple and never the outside of the historic tabernacle; a place my ancestors helped build and worshiped in. And to refer to it as a mere church? Disrespectful

The Tabernacle is not the building you showed; the building you showed with the beautiful architecture is the Temple. The Tabernacle that houses the pipe organ is an oval building, which makes for the great acoustics.
"Great acoustics" they do a demonstration where they turn off the mic and drop a pin on the podium. You can hear it anywhere in the building like you were standing 2 feet away.

As I’m typing this I’m currently in a hotel in SLC and I gotta say it’s really beautiful especially the view of the mountains I got to walk around downtown and explore the area a little although it does suck that it’s a little expensive but definitely not as much as CA lol

It’s only expensive downtown, if you ever go back to SLC, first, go to the Bryce Canyon,(Utah has the most National parks in the us) then City Creek, it’s super fucking awesome, it has costa vida, it’s a local Mexican fast food restaurant(delicious((I recommend trying out stuff instead of getting one thing, not liking it and giving up)), it has art painted all over the place, a movie theatre, and more! Next i would try hatch chocolates, it’s wonderful, (local as well) after that you could go to Lagoon, they’re local, and it’s a cool amusement park.

Kilby Court to see a band.
The Alpine Loop in Utah County.
The DT Farmers Market.
KRCL radio.
Apollo Burger.
Sunset Peak for a hike.
9 and 9 neighborhood.
The Living Room hike.
City Creek hike.
Fischer Brewing.
Walk around the Avenue's.
Go to 25th St in Ogden.
Spring and fall are the best.
Too hot and dusty in the summer and the pollution and crowds during ski season are concerns.

I had a friend who is Asian and told me she would not like to go to Salt Lake City because it’s too whitewashed and everyone was blue eyed blonde. I am a white blue eyed blonde. I was taken aback about the comment and was like WTF. Just felt that was inappropriate and racist.
I've been traveling for 22 years. I've been to every state except Hawaii. Salt lake city is by far without a shadow of a doubt the worst city that I've been in. There are meth heads everywhere. SLC is one of the top cities to have the most Ashley Madison accounts. I don't see how that site can be even remotely legal. It just shows how dumbed down people are. It's really sad and pathetic.

I like to go downtown and watch the missionaries eat ice cream. REALLY EXCITING.
I visited temple square and the family history center last year when I visited Utah for the first time, and I'm headed back for round 2 in a couple days. I didn't know about a lot of these places, but I hope to make trips to some more of these places this time round to add to the memories

Amazing that you can get so many things wrong in so little time. For instance:
• The Great Salt Lake, at Great Salt Lake State Park, is so low that it's a half-mile walk through smelly mud to the water. Antelope Island State Park, further north, is still somewhat enjoyable.
• You mispronounced "Eccles." It rhymes with "sheckels."
• The Tabernacle Choir only performs two times a week, counting rehearsal. And you mispronounced "tabernacle." And Temple Square is currently a giant construction site, with much less to see than you portray.
It's pronounced Eccles theater not Eccles theater do your research before you post.
