@@batekrown thank you so much! We are so happy you enjoyed it, and you will be teaching us some good spots soon since you are moving 😄. Best of luck with the move! SLC is a beautiful place and the people are so friendly, so we hope it’s everything you want! We really appreciate you watching! And, as a red head, I appreciate the support for red heads everywhere 😉
Oh donuts! And they’re also very unique, which is right up my alley. Haha dad jokes how cool is the great salt lake. Time never forgets a place like that. Love the murals and great breweries are my favorite! Peaches and cream ale!!!! What creative pizza. Amazing video guys! And you always find great places to get coffee. Love a good zoo as well. 🎉 how beautiful is utah!
You said it best-“How beautiful is Utah!” Completely agreed! SLC was our first view of the state and we were blown away. Seeing those snow-capped mountains and those crazy salt lakes feels like being on another planet. And we definitely think you would enjoy those donuts! We have never heard anyone talk about the SLC food scene but it was great. Thanks for watching!
We like going out to the Great Salt Lake. We were just out there about 3 weeks ago. We also like going to Antelope Island and seeing the Buffalo heard. Holgle is pronounced hole gull. It is a really nice zoo. Next time you come to SLC you need to go to This is Place Heritage Park. Your daughter would really enjoy it. In the summer so much to for kids. Ruth’s Diner is a landmark but we found it to be overrated and way overpriced. It’s one of those places that people really love or not. We were not impressed at all. The biscuits were so salty we couldn’t eat them. The food just wasn’t good. Maybe we caught them in a bad day because our server was so cranky and she just started her shift. The people who worked there at the time we went were not friendly at all. We went in the morning. The parking is so crazy. It really is not handicap friendly or accessible. Also an Utah original is the dirty Dr. Pepper. A must try when in the state. They have them at every soda shop. I’m going to watch the other videos. I like watching videos of the places in Utah by tourists. Interesting to get their take on the area.
Wow-we appreciate hearing your point of view as an SLC local! This being our first trip we were just blown away by how beautiful the area was and how friendly the people were. We will never forget watching our daughter run around at the Great Salt Lake. Someone else told us about Antelope Island but we didn’t get a chance to go. After reading your recommendation we really need to get there! Also, thank you for the recommendation on park. We will add that to our list for next time! That’s unfortunate you had a poor experience at Ruth’s when you tried it. The service makes all the difference. We lucked out and had an incredibly friendly server who made us feel welcome. Plus, we are huge biscuit people and enjoy trying different variations all over the US. And good to know about the Dirty Dr. Pepper! We really appreciate you watching and sharing your recommendations! We live in Orlando and, much like you, are always interested in the thing tourists do in the city we live in. Have a wonderful weekend!
Yes here in Florida they let you bring your kids in the bars, breweries, liquor stores. I never questioned if it was legal. Kind of silly law I get the idea behind it. I buy my salt from Utah actually.
We are so used to the Florida way where breweries are family friendly that it was a bit of a culture shock. That being said, everyone we encountered in Utah was super friendly about it and always had recommendations if we weren’t allowed in. And the salt was incredible here!
You guys are adorbS! So is kid! Love red hair! Will know tomrw whether I’m moving to SLC - wish me luck! 😂🙏🏼

The mountains are just stunning. The whole city is hugged by these snow capped mountains. Thanks for watching!
