Thanks for your video. My situation with how things have improved is similar. I was having such a difficult time falling asleep, staying asleep and getting a good nights sleep. I've been using the same grounding sheet and mat that you have and it's a night and day difference. While I was open minded to the idea I was still a little skeptical. But now, my sleep has improved tremendously. That is the biggest difference I have noticed so far. That alone is worth it. I just also bought the Earthing Universal Mat Kit by Clint Ober (the pioneer of grounding). At first blush, nothing better but I've only had it 12 hours and I was asleep for most of those.
It didn’t work for me unfortunately…I kept feeling a shock (I bought a fitted sheet) when touching it and I don’t know if my older home had dirty electricity but I got an overwhelming detox reaction so sadly I had to return it.
If lightning hit your house directly and went through your ground to try and get back to ground technically this could get you if you’re touching the metal parts. And if you’re not touching any metal parts, then what’s the point of having it connected to the ground in the wall
Our bodies always run off of some sort of frequencies and voltage. Being outside on the ground brings our levels back to zero. Concrete doesn't do it which most houses are built on. Grounding ourselves is proven to reduce inflammation and other issues
You do need to have the switch on. Just the ground connector, With the UK I am not sure how that would differ. I might suggest reaching out to customer support.
It is on the website www.groundingwell.com/SIDNEY , but it is: 104.3" x 23.6" (265cm x 60cm) - Wide enough to fit across all mattress sizes While it shifts some for me, it is not much of an issue.
@@SidsTips I think he meant does the switch on the socket need to be switched on? On UK sockets, there are switches to turn the electrical outlet on or off

@@pudina4155 hello, any update ?

What do you think about sleeping on a mat as opposed to the ground sheets?
It can work as some people do use it that way.
@SidsTips thanks
Does it matter if you live in high rise appartment? Will it have the same benefit or do you need to live on ground floor?
It should not.
Every working electrical outlet in every building is connected to the ground, so it will work fine
It didn’t work for me unfortunately…I kept feeling a shock (I bought a fitted sheet) when touching it and I don’t know if my older home had dirty electricity but I got an overwhelming detox reaction so sadly I had to return it.
Oh darn. Sorry to hear it did not work out.
If lightning hit your house directly and went through your ground to try and get back to ground technically this could get you if you’re touching the metal parts. And if you’re not touching any metal parts, then what’s the point of having it connected to the ground in the wall
If you have a storm coming, it is best to unplug it
Have you ever tested it for EMF?
There is no electronics with this. Just plugging it into the grounding.
Does it still work if you put sheets over it? Like what if u sleep unit of your comforter?
You can have it under your comforter, but you want your body touching it.
Regarding the matt, do you stand on it barefoot, like at a standing desk 🤔
Yes. You can wear socks, but if you can be barefoot, even better.
do you lay it on the fitted sheet or is it ok to put it under the normal flat sheet? Thanks a lot.
It's ok to put on underneath and when you get in bed, lay on it.
to work properly, the grounding sheet needs to make skin contact.
Are these specific for houses since they are at ground level or does it also work for apartments?
Works in apartments which I am in.
It gets put into the earthing part of the outlet ,does the switch on the plugg need to be switched on ...in the uk we have switches ??? @SidsTips
Ahh. No it does not need to be on.
@@lismarie6372 The 'gound' is a hard wire connection to a ground rod, in the earth, so outlet need not be hot for it to be grounded.
I don't understand the science. Since wood needs don't conduct in the first place are we trying to get static electricity out?
Our bodies always run off of some sort of frequencies and voltage. Being outside on the ground brings our levels back to zero. Concrete doesn't do it which most houses are built on. Grounding ourselves is proven to reduce inflammation and other issues
Do they work well if you wear pj's, thinking of getting one.
it can work, but ideally you want to have some skin to touch the sheets.
You are definitely not in the South. 😊
Do you stick it directly into the ground plug hole and switch the plug socket on? I am apprehensive as this feels dangerous? This is a UK switch
You do need to have the switch on. Just the ground connector, With the UK I am not sure how that would differ. I might suggest reaching out to customer support.
@@SidsTips don’t think so. Ground line is always grounded, there is no switch control to the ground line
The 'gound' is a hard wire connection to a ground rod, in the earth, so outlet need not be hot for it to be grounded.
what size is this? how much excess is there to tuck under bed? and does it shift around during sleep? thanks!
It is on the website www.groundingwell.com/SIDNEY , but it is: 104.3" x 23.6" (265cm x 60cm) - Wide enough to fit across all mattress sizes
While it shifts some for me, it is not much of an issue.
To be 100% grounded, get those sweaty feet down on a grounding mat.
Why are you using a twin size instead of a full size, is the current stronger in the smaller size?
There is 1 size. They make it fit up to a king mattress.
No current, just grounding. Plugs into the ground plug, not power.
Must the skin have contact with the sheet?
Yes you want to.
So the mat is the strongest?
Yes, it appears that way.
If your skin needs to touch it does that mean you have to sleep with out clothes
I sleep with a shirt on, but my arms touch it.
Do you switch the electric on or not. Asking from the UK
There is no switch. You just connect the wire.
@@SidsTips cheers
@@SidsTips I think he meant does the switch on the socket need to be switched on? On UK sockets, there are switches to turn the electrical outlet on or off
Does it matter which side of the grounding sheet is UP?
It does not.
Can you wash these?
Yes. I put it in the machine on a gentle cycle with cold water and low heat
Can this be put underneath a fitted sheet
You just want to make sure it can touch your skin.
Wow
How do you clean it?
I put in it the wash on delicate and low heat in the dryer.
Im confused, on the website he is using a continuity meter, his reading was zero when on floor but alot higher when laying on the sheets so why do you have opposite readings is that a different kind of meter?
Good question. I am not sure. This meter was the one that was recommended to use.
