I'm STRUGGLING with a painfully swollen abdomen from iver problems....i literally can't eat hardly anything. on day three of a fast and not by choice. so when i do eat, i try to get as much nutrition as humanly possible . so many are silently struggling from very real health problems and nutrition (and sleep/ exercise) is the key to health so I imagine this would for sure be a popular video, or even a series. thanks for showing us your examples

i LOVE the positivity in the comments guys😭 also, i only found this video now and u make me want to try the daily dozen sm!! i’ve been vegan (after 7y of vegetarian) for quite a time now (over a year) and i’ve always felt like i don’t really know what to eat kind of? our current food culture is just so incredibly unhealthy (and i don’t only mean sugar and junk food :’)) no one actually teaches us what to eat, like not even my parents do. greger’s how not to die and his talk/video “uprooting the leading cause of death” actually got me into nutritionscience. sorry for SUCH a long comment, thanks for this video and take care!! x

Best to eat organic steel cut oats soaked overnight with organic soy milk. The next day I add all organic:
    Ground flax seeds
    Frozen berries
    Hemp seeds
    Walnuts
    Chia seeds
While overnight oats are a nutritious, convenient, and substantial breakfast alternative, they can also aid in weight loss. When you eat oats, you won't overeat because they have beta-glucan, which makes you feel full.

Why would you encourage such a horrible diet? Plants are not only full of oxalates but youll slowly starve over time like all vegans do, as plants are devoid of a ton of nutrients. Including b12. Dr Greger looks horrible and acts like a crazy person. His advice is trash. Try following someone sane like Dr anthony chaffee or Dr Shawn Baker.

I do think this should come with a small warning, as green tea on an empty stomach first thing in the morning can make a lot of people nauseous, to the point of vomiting. I know this both anecdotally from friends and from reading it online. Not dangerous in itself, but it can put people off the idea off green tea permanently.

Tea is acidic and it disturbs the stomach acid, depending how strong the tea is and how healthy your stomach is, it might be advised not to drink it on an empty stomach, especially in the long run. I've had this issue sometimes, but the advice comes from Traditional Chinese doctors... If you have any digestion issues, consider not drinking tea or coffee on an empty stomach...

Everything looks delicious, but most of the ingredients in the video hurt my stomach or have so many carbs that I'll end up feeling excessively thirsty for hours. Sometimes I miss my old high fiber diet, but what I don't miss is all the pain that came with it
