This is what sets you apart from other homesteaders and farms, the level of care you give your animals is to another level. May God bless you and your family and heal you Brooke.
Well, what a blessing you could smell the odor in Capris breath and the outcome would have been devastating if you had not ~ The babies are so sweet just loving on you Brooke ......
Do you have any idea how many goat owners would ever know if their goat was sick if the only symptom was bad breath? That's right. 0! You're an exceptional mama.
I really admire you Brooke for how attentive you are to all of your goats and catching different things early etc. This is one of the MANY reasons why I absolutely love this channel and of course the main channel.
I'm so glad your smeller is working. Now you can smell poisonous snakes 🐍 and infection, lol. I'm glad the goats are doing so well with your great care. Way to go Brooke
Brooke you are a exceptional mama and you have a good sniffer you could smell the bad breath and you also can sniff out snakes. Them animals are so Blessed to have you and Jason as their parents and MaryCarl
Brooke, you are so blessed to have such a wonderful vet who is knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your animals are safe and healthy. Thank you for sharing your wonderful journey. Donna Coastal Georgia Zone 8B
Brooke, you are such a good mommy! You love all your babies and know them so well that you are able to know when something is wrong much quicker than most! 💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜
Thank goodness you ARE so attentive and "in tune" with all of your animals! Phe Phe and Capri were both spared much worse infections because of it! You and Jason are absolutely awesome, in the amount of love, acceptance, and compassion you have for all of your babies!
So good that you detected a strange odor in Capri's breath! Wow well done Brooke. Have a blessed day. The goats are lovely and blessed to have such an attentive caregiver. Love to all.
Well done, Brooke! You saved Capri by using your sense of smell. I am so glad that the vet helped you to find the problem. We love watching all your animals.
This was the sweetest video! These five babies are just precious! This is not the first time your Super Sniffer was shown to be true! That a great trait you have!❤❤❤
Why on earth do you have to explain yourself? You and Jason are the most caring and observant animal owners on a farm ive ever seen. Any issue is taken care of as soon as its noticed and that farm is very clean! Keep up the great work you do!
Most goat mommas wouldn’t have seen those subtle changes and the mommas would have been so sick before illness realized. They are lucky to have amazing caretaker parents to keep them healthy. The babies are adorable and you guys are doing an amazing job with them. Thanks for sharing! ❤
You're doing good! There's just more and more learning! There may have been issues, but there are blessings in them. You and those babies are so cute! 🩷
" Quite down cobwebs and dust go to sleep, I'm rocking my babies and babies don't keep". Truer words have never been spoken. OXOXO to you and all your family and animals ❣️
Hi Brooke. A mum always k knows when something’s not right glad Fefe was ok. Those gorgeous goats are growing up fast and the chaos they cause you handle it all soo well people Could learn thing or two from you both. Have a wonderful day. Take care and God bless 💕🙏
The goats are blessed to have you as their mamma. Your caring touches my heart. In fact you and Jason spread love to our fellow creatures in ways that remind us of God's love. Blessings.
It is truly amazing how well you know all your animals and pay such close attention to any change in them. Every pet on that farm is so very blessed that you and Jason are their parents.
Good morning Brooke, thank you for the Beautiful Smiles. With you being so Hands On and Attentive is a Wonderful addition that Reflects on the Love and Care you instilled into the Cog Hill Baby Collective, so that they will Live Long and Prosper. With all the Babies climbing on you it reminds me of Goat Yoga. Love this part of your morning routine. 😊👍👍👍
Smells from the breath is how humans/animals know something different about people/animals we spend time with 😊😊😊that’s awesome 😎 Brooke that you pay attention to your animals ❤
You have a momma sniffer. Just like on your kids. You can smell their breath and tell the have a throat infection. Glad you caught it Brooke. Love you all ❤
I'm sure glad you are so observant Brooke. You saved Capri from serious problems. The babies are so sweet that I could watch them all day. Thank you for beautiful video!💕🐐
Brooke, you are a Sensational Mama #2 for these Baby Goats. You and Jason are so in touch with all your animals, it is amazing to watch you both with your animals. I watch all your videos, shorts and reels, please keep filming, let’s be watching the fiascos, too. 💕🙏🏻
You look stunning Brooke. Could you please show more of the baby goats jumping and frolicking around? We haven't seen much of that at all. God bless you all and many prayers 🙏🏻 Nurse Judi in Scottsdale AZ and Eucharistic Minister 🙏🏻 ☦️
just goes to show that being in close contact with your animals and treating them like pets instead of live stock you get to know them so well that you know when something so small as breath is off and that's tremendous in their health care. You are a fabulous animal mommy Brooke they are so lucky to have you .
The babies appear to be doing so well between their goat Mom and human Mom - you. They are so cute and seem like they are so much fun! I'm sure there's a lot of work to keep up with them. I so enjoy your videos and thanks for sharing a snippet of your day on the farm.
You know your animals, Brooke! Thank goodness!! Glad you got her looked after, could've caused a fatal infection if you hadn't found! Love watching you & your babies!!! Hugs 💜🙏💜
Good for you Brooke for catching what could have been fatal for PhePhe if left unchecked. Strange smells from animals are a definite indication that something is brewing. She's a lucky momma to have such caring people to take good care of her.
Brooke, you're an amazing farm, momma. You're catching things quickly and getting the girls treated. Those babies are indeed growing quickly. Brooke,I think of you often, and praying you get answers regarding your health. I have more than my share of autoimmune issues and know how the daily struggle is. I just keep pushing through. Blessings to you and yours!❤
I must say you are the best with goat babies, I know I have said this before, but I just can’t find the right words to say what wonderful farmers you and Jason are. There is a very special place in heaven waiting for you. Those little babies just love you to death. God bless and get some rest.
Thank you for the excellent video. I’m an old retired nurse and I learned a lot from your video. Great job explaining the medical terms. My day starts with your beautiful videos. ❤️
Good catch Brooke, you are so attentive and are not afraid of speaking up when you think something is just not right. You and Jason are true and caring. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Those baby goats really think that you are their second MOM. It is hysterical. I know it is wonderful to have a great vet, but if it wasn't for you, the Vet wouldn't have gone any farther. Good EYE. Keep up the good work.
Now that's a prime example of knowing your animals so well that you picked up on that smell and it alerted you that something was wrong!! I'm so glad you caught that, Brooke because it could have taken her life. You and Jason are wonderful animal parents and you both pay so much attention to any type of change(s) and you take care of it! It's obvious that you both (and MaryCarl) truly love each and every animal you have!! God bless Cog Hill Farm!!!
Your a very observent pet parent. Thats a big indication at how well you care for your animals. You get to know them and there little personalitys. Thats such a good thing. Your pets must really love ya'll. If reincarnation happens i hope i can come back as one of ypur pets.
Well it just goes to show that Brooke is on top of her game!! Knows in her gut so to speak that she knows her goats and how they act! God bless her and the families of goats!!
Just like with our children, we Mama's just sometimes KNOW something isn't quite right with our kids..yep, pun intended!! Your goats..No, ALL your animals are very blessed to have your love and intuition!! You are a GREAT MAMA!!
I loved the cute little hoof print on your white pants, I would want to outline it with a marker and any other ones there might be and paint them blue, with fabric paint. I love little accident prints and save them if I can. I have a little ornamental well in the yard, it needs painted, but there is something special on it, My Grand daughter decided to paint our German Shepherd purple with her hands when she was 5 or 6. Then when she was done, she wiped the paint off her hands off on one of the side pieces of the roof of the well. She is 28 now and it is still there, to remind me of the day that I did a double take when I saw my dog was purple. And I knew who did it, she still had purple paint on her hands, clothes and shoes. I'm so glad you caught that smell and it lead to Capri getting some much needed medical attention. I would never have thought that it would show up on her breath, I would think it would be coming from the rear. But so, so, so glad she will be able to recover. Those babies are so cute and they just love you so much, they want to eat your hair. I wish goats didn't grow up so fast, they are a source of never ending entertainment and as I already mentioned, so, so, so cute, I could watch them all day!
What a great idea!!! You made precious memories for you & your grandchildren!! How sweet! Brooke noticed her off breath not bc there was any medical connection but Capri "cleans" (by eating) any internal "cleanings" that is afterbirth. While very gross, it is very nutritious for animals. Plus getting "rid of it" helps so it doesn't attract prey. But there is no medical connection, to my knowledge, between the two.
My wife is a PreK teacher with 17, 4 and 5 year olds! I took donut holes for the last day and to say goodbye! Watching your video reminded me of my little trip this morning!!! Now I know, not only will I never be a prek teacher, I probably will never be a goat-daddy either!!! 🤣🤣🤣
My hat is off to your wife!!🎩 It takes a saint of gold with endless patience to do that job! I don't have children but 3 dogs & 3 cats and I call my world a zoo!! Everywhere I go I have at least 3-4 shadows.😂 I can't imagine 17 4-5 year olds!! ❤
I worked in my school district cafeteria for 15 years and worked at a daycare also. Your wife is someone special to have the patience and love for all her students. ❤
Brooke, you are such a great mama, we can’t be surprised you smelled something in Capri’s breath, you can smell venomous snakes! 😉 Those babies are sooo cute 🥰 God definitely watches over Cog Hill Farm 🙌🏻🙏🏻
WELL DONE, Brooke. You are in tune with your animals. That makes you The GOAT. see what I did there? Capri was trying to keep herself clean, probably. Poor dear.
It doesn’t sound crazy at all. It’s not the first time that I heard of someone saying they could smell things like infection on someone. Always trust your instincts because they have been spot on with you Brooke. You saved Capri from a possible life threatening situation. ❤❤❤
Brooke, thank goodness you got a good nose and good instinct! And, thank goodness too that you got a vet that listens to your instinct even when it isnt obvious that something is not right. God bless you hun!
It's amazing how quickly the little goats are growing. They are the cutest and most inquisitive little goats. Brooke, thank you for the updates. You're a great Ma Ma
You and Jason take such wonderful care of your babies. Such well loved and cared for pets. 🙏🏽💓💐 Brooke you are looking wonderful these days. I pray whatever you’re doing keeps working in your favor. 🤗
I don't understand people. If they are watching how clean you guys keep EVERYTHING on the farm. Why in the world would you not wash and disinfectant the goats tips. Love all the shows on all.
Yes I am with You!!I am Mad at people and they are Cog Squad members?? Come On Jason & Brooke everything is Clean and they go the extra mile to find out what is this what could this mean. Of course She clean her bag just didn't waste our time or their filming every little detail. I am glad it is their channel and look to what trouble she goes to show step by step what is going on.. Oh My Oh Me :( Gee from one Mama Goat to the other poor Girls had it rough this go around.. But Thanks to Brooke they getting it all under control.. Glad You have Your enjoyment Ms Brooke..
