WOOD-CARVED TORSO READY FOR PAINT | COLLABORATION

Inspired by Jesse Toso's torsos, which he does with a chainsaw, I thought I'd try a hand-carved version of a body torso in this old hunk of balsam poplar cottonwood. This isn't cottonwood bark, but actual wood from a tree trunk. My friend Janice, a talented artist in many mediums, is going to paint a tattoo on this, and I'll be sure to share the results! #woodcarving #artistcollaboration #inspired
