...in which case, they wouldn't qualify as "Earth-like." You're absolutely right about tidal lock. Even so, there's a chance that such a planet would have a "Goldilocks Ring from pole to pole. One can imagine the arctic-alien-analogs congregating closer to the dark hemisphere and the tropical-alien-analogs toward the red-dwarf-lit hemisphere.
And... to find planets in the Goldilocks Zone which are orbiting a G2V star, or a F8V or a K2V star, which can be considered Solar Analogs Stars too. The Goldilocks Zone around the Red Dwarf Stars, though the most abundant in the Milky Way, the 80 %, maybe is not suitable for sustain life, when these planets are orbiting around a Red Dwarf Star, just because of the «tidal effect», that is similar to the effect that affects our Moon too, showing always the same face to their parent star.
You are in error. NASA scientists do not know if aliens exist but some are seeking to answer this question. NASA has no program to communicate with extraterrestrials, intelligent or otherwise. You are engaging in fantasy.
Yea the thing is.....we need to build a "telescope"....that is 3x better than the James Webb to really see the Earth like planets... the sad part is , is that we could of had it done 5 years ago but, the people building them put billions upon billions of dollars price tags on the things and then ask for more and more,... NASA needs to find some people that want to do the job because they love it...cause we cant afford any more of the old style billing...NO WAY
When will we really explore space i wonder. With humans on board without any liquid as propellant. We know Alien's exists because there are billions and billions of stars out there so the question is what is their method of transportation and we already know that they are using some kind of anti gravity process so why are we still using liquid propellant? Have we not advanced one tiny bit in the past let's say 60 years? Of course we have but Oil is the culprit. Once out than the fun will begin!

it's annoying that they have to acronym ever single thing they send into space. xD really interesting video
the english pronunciacion is amazing.
