It's been awhile since I ran there, but it's a weird surface, very dependent on moisture content and temperature. Worn m4 positrons were the thing but now told jc ellipse silver are the ones.

...that's a sealed clay track, not a dirt track. Apart from the ruts a surface like this will be more comparable to carpet than to dirt.
