I was seriously considering this as an alternative to the Q revo earlier this year. I didn't even check closely that it had a self empty bin, thought that was a given.
I could not believe it when I realized! Such a silly omission. Between that and the higher price than the Q revo on prime day, the choice was obvious.

My thoughts exactly. Missing larger debris is bad but my guess is that it’ll eventually get everything if you’re running this multiple times a week which is good enough.
No auto-empty bin though? Complete deal breaker.
Such a shame especially considering that amazing obstacle avoidance.

I bought both a dreamtech l10s ultra and this eufy x9 pro for well under market value and within $10 of each other. After a couple of weeks of testing, I returned the dreamtech. While yes, it doesn't auto empty the bin, with these mops they aren't like the dedicated vacuum only machines that you could go a whole month without paying attention to. Either way, the water tanks must be changed pretty frequently, so I just empty the bin during that step.
The navigation is what won it for me. The dreametech always seemed to find something to run over and i'd get the "mop pad disconnected" message while I was away from home when I was hoping to come home to clean floors. I use these mops in a cell phone repair store, so I have lots of random cables and obstacles... But so do most people with kids, pets, etc.. The Eufy has not once gotten stuck except when i had it go into a room with a high threshold that it couldn't climb back over. It has yet to find a single cable or obstacle to stop it.

Thx for review. Just bought the x9. Brilliant. Hes just finished mapping. Thought my hard floors were clean... water was sludgy black, had to return to station 4 times for mop cleaning. I have 2 rooms with carpets and the dust bin was full. Im either a bad floor cleaner or what i been using is insufficent. I was using a dyson v6.
    Mapping great
    Collision avoidance great
Low noise... had to keep checking where he was at

I've had the X9 Pro since it was released in the states. The first unit was replaced hassle free by Eufy because it would periodically turn itself off and on. The replacement unit has been working flawlessly so far. It's just myself and my cat, so it not having an automatic dust bin emptier is fine with me. I have a Roomba J7+ and Bravva M6 upstairs and I hate hearing that thing auto empty. It's sooooo loud. More so than the model below it, which I also have. I've opened and used Roombas since they were first introduced and this X9 Pro navigates way better than the Roombas (even the J7+). It doesn't go around bumping my baseboards and marking them like the Roomba will. I'm thinking of getting another for the upstairs and for my mom (who is 73 now). She has my other J7+ that I replaced with the X9 Pro. Definitely recommend this one.

Dear vacuum wars. I would like to discuss the elephant in the room on robot mops. I have the Eufy 10s ultra and there is a flaw in the entire mopping robot concept. The all mops run a pad or pads over tile and then take it back to be cleaned. These robots "scrub" the top of the tile but leave a dirty water film in the grout which is lower than the tile just like a sponge mop. So, with your new robot mop, you mop daily, or every other day and so the grout gets much dirtier quickly that just vacuuming the dirt away and moping infrequently. I would like you develop a test with light colored tile and light grout for the robot mops to check this out. I will be happy to help if you wish.

That issue was fixed Dec 2022 and if you read how the video "was not encrypted" it's if the user chose to share videos thru an option debug mode which enabled that. Which I don't agree that should be an option at all, but to my point the videos were encrypted to begin with.

@@youdontneedmyrealnameIt can be. Mapping robot vacuums have been around for years, the only exception being maps can’t be saved, they keep it on their memory if they have charge and resume. I'm definitely going to research parts availability for any future robot purchases...and from what I'm encountering limited parts availability for many other robots and haven't seen very much information for longer term use or service/repair data. From my experience with the eufy x8 I'll pass on this brand for the next replacement.

I dont want to deal with disposable bags (if they had a reusable container instead of a bag, then Id be interested in that). And with my Roborock S5 Max, I like knowing what it picked up and didnt by manually emptying the bin. Granted from a dust perspective (dumping it in the garbage), not ideal. But I dont have pets or kids, and do have plenty of other life habits that will cause harm before dust from a robot vacuum will lol.
