Looks like another great rifle from Volquartsen. The FTF you mentioned is not the first time I've heard about this. Also, the magazine release problem. From what I hear, if you send the magazine back, they will polish it smooth and it will release more consistently. It might also help the FTF. Great rifle, great customer support company!

Frederick, I purchased the same rifle for my wife for head shooting hogs, I took possession. It's a real shame they discontinue the rifle, not sure for the reason, maybe because no match ammo, though the gun shoots on anything. I like you have had FF issues, I'll have to see if seating the mag is an issue. I also purchased their Evolution 223 and have yet to put a round through the gun. It's been in the safe for about four years, I think it was the last one built. I had conversation with Scott, they are brining the 223 back in the near future. I hope to hear from you. Eric

It's all a dream if you think the rifle is worth that kind of money. I bought one used with the carbon fiber barrel and is the most expensive rifle I own.
Had to go back for a new barrel and though not as accurate as my A17 in hmr

@@dansherwood9851dumb statement, I also own a Volquartson 17 WSM which is accurate and I love but it’s not as accurate as my Remington 40XB in 220 Swift. How about comparing same caliber , that would be a comparison.

@@nobodysbusiness4828 smart statement. 17wsm is not as accurate as a 17hmr. Can’t speak to ur sissy gun as I don’t own one🤣

@@dansherwood9851what do you call the sissy gun ? Your 17 hmr seems to be the smallest so you must be the sissy that shoots it, because you can’t handle anything bigger.
