Make sure to inquire and purchase the HP burn-in related guarantee policy in your area. In my case, the guarantee for the burn-in was not clear within the 3-year warranty. The customer center responded that if a burn-in occurs, they will judge by looking at the situation at that time.
The cooling fan is a major flaw on this pricey monitor. It was louder than my HP notebook which have loud fans. It started blowing a substantial amount of heat out the top grill into my small office. Major deal breaker. Firmware update and lighting was an issue but i didnt pursue further as the loud fan and heat exhaust was shocking at this price point and i packed it up to go back to HP after a couple hours of light office work use. The fan was audible even after i powered down the unit. I wanted this to be my endgame monitor after all the reviews. I even got 40% discount during boxing week. So pricing was great. If you dont mind loud fan noise, substantial heat exhaust, and insanely large power brick, a weird slippery by design stand, temperamental firmware updates and led lighting, it is a gorgeous monitor.
Both the Alienware and HP monitors are on sale right now at Best Buy for the same price. Which one should I get? I want to get one before the sale ends.
@@TypeCTechReviews Ok makes sense, but the mode you used for HDR is just 1 called True Black or what was it named and money not an option. Which would you buy AW or this one
What's the issue with the samsung? I got it on sale with my military discount from Samsung for 799 and i returned my pg32ucdm because I couldn't spot a difference

Alienware
I got this one after returning awful color from woled panel.Red looked way dark red which just made me goto qd oled .
Had the AW for 2 months, swapped it out for the HP. Felt like I got an upgrade cuz I got more features.
This does not have a peak 1000 mode? So the brightness tops at 380? That is awful even for True Black which many go to about 450.
No, to clarify that 380 nits is full screen brightness. Highlights here get wayyyy brighter in HDR.

AW hands down
For the HP, yes there is one HDR mode, BUT you can choose when does the role off happen, at 250/450/1000 nits

Im waiting for the lg 32gs95ue review
Will kvm works with console?
This good for 80% work (windows) and 20% PS5?
Are the speakers better than on Samsung Odyssey OLED G8?
Yes coz hyper x is better sound system then generic monitor speaker.
I always wonder if I should buy a 4k monitor but I know my GPU isn't anywhere capable of it 😅
You can run E sports games at 4k 240fps even with a midrange GPU.
I'm looking at this monitor right now and I can't either but it's like one of the few things that you can buy but his future proof.
with all this diferent 32''4k qd-oled format i spect 2025 blackfriday alot of cheap oleds,, soo im gona whait
Im not much with glossy screens too much reflective 🎉
Why is this monitor so extremely overpriced? 1.5k Euro after taxes, while the 4k 240 W OLED (with 1080p 480Hz dual mode) are 1k.
