absolutely!!! crazy how we've had 1080p+ phones, VR headsets with crazy high resolutions, glorious 8K TVs, but the 27" monitor segment is still stuck in the past.
Very repetitive video. You don't even say anything about monitors that makes them unique. Repeating "for creators, for creators" doesn't say me anything.
They're working with what they have. Dell only gave them a small list of features, nothing else is revealed. The extra info will come when they review them.
This isn't an upgrade year for me, but with these releases, I'll be happy with whatever I get next year (a 4k OLED between 27"-32"). It's gonna be expensive but within reach going forward.
The big question always is what is the full window brightness and how does it deal with burn-in? Even when customized for Oleds and it doesn’t do it on its own, Windows is very Oled-unfriendly.
That's exactly why I'm more excited with the U3225QE, it's a basic LCD but sustained and full window brightness is for sure better than this QD-OLED (not HDR wise)
Is anyone making a 42” 16:9 QDOLED monitor/ TV? I have been using a 42 inch Sony OLED for a while now and I’d had hoped that I could replace it with QD OLED by 2025.
The creator monitor is incredibly exciting. Now that screens such as OLEDS and mini-leds are so commonplace, it really doesn’t make sense for creators to be working in the old school 1000:1 contrast ratio anymore.
Yeah but a lot of them don’t do real HDR or lose brightness based on the size of the window so blue looks very different on a 10% window and a 100% window. So which blue is it?😊
A 30-inch / 32-inch with small bezel all-around, 6K LTPO 1Hz to 120Hz capacitive multi-touch OLED monitor, and a good quality 4K Under Display Camera (UDC) would be amazing… Still missing 6K, capacitive multi-Touch, and 1Hz capability to open so many new and innovative use cases, but definitely getting closer…
damn, I didn't even knew I wanted all of this. May I add the options for glossy display too! I know we are a minority but still, I like my monitor glossy (and with a lot of nits to counter-balance reflects).
I've wanted a 32" 4k oled creative monitors; or better yet, a 42" 8k oled creatives monitor for Autocad-Revit. I was going to get the LG 42" C5, but I realize now that the text detail would be unacceptable. Some aspects of the Dell monitor seem stupid; such as wasting money on inferior monitor speakers. Also, the cloth? texture and color on the bottom front of the monitor for a "cute" speaker cover is another money waster. There's apparently no display port, which is a terrible omission. I guess I can get a dongle adapter. If your review is good, I might get this monitor. Question: Is the black screen a true black screen, or is it grey? Why have oled if we can't have a true black screen? I've got two 27" Asus 1440p monitors that I'll put beside this.
I need a 6k, 42 inch, glossy, oled, low bezzle, 144Hz, very bright monitor I would pay up to $2000 for this. wtf is wrong with these companies. a lot of people will definetely buy this if they actually see it.
Are you tslking about monitors in laptops, I dont know of a single stand alone dell monitor that have oled except for that 30 inch prototype a few years back. So other than that these should be their first oled monitors. I work only with dell hardware in mtvit support job and is responsible for deciding what hardware to purcjade for the company but maybe you know more than me.
Both of these monitors look great although neither are of these are of any interest to me. I hope I can get that Alienware 1440p QD-OLED some time soon.
Anyone responsible for monitors having ANY speakers or cameras should be fired. We need to get back to “dumb” electronics so each component can focus on what it’s meant to focus on.
What’s wrong with monitors having speakers? I want the monitor to have speakers for basic sound and have a pair of headphones for music and gaming. What is wrong about it
@@veikokksame energy as saying you enjoy manufacturers no longer putting chargers in phone boxes. YOU might not need the stand but there's plenty of people who do
I feel that HDR is probably the biggest hoax of all time. It’s a spotlight filter and should have been called that instead of high dynamic range vs standard dynamic range.
@mavfan1 Yeah, the biggest, most popular, most money making entity in the entertainment industry begs to differ. Stick to picking up jacks or bird watching, gaming doesn't need you old timers.
Still waiting for 27" 5k OLED 120Hz+ monitors
and with dule mode.
absolutely!!! crazy how we've had 1080p+ phones, VR headsets with crazy high resolutions, glorious 8K TVs, but the 27" monitor segment is still stuck in the past.
Because the price would be crazy high, and would have low volume sales.
Also, too many ports, accessories, and GPUsare not ready for it.

Bro, they are just employees for them. It's all about Benjamin's $$$$$$$$
I hope that graphite sheet doesn't effect color accuracy and brightness.

Either of these monitors sound great!
Can't wait for dell to release these monitors in 24, 27 and 32 variants! My desk isnt too big to accomodate a 32incher so a 24 or 27 would be great!
We heard about inkjet back in the middle of December 2023 when Samsung Display announced the 4K 32” QD-OLED panel.

lg g5 is 48", c5 is 42
Waiting for something larger to edit and possibly throw the odd game on. Hoping for more curved monitor options!
That monitor will be a awesome budget gaming option, Dell monitors always go on sale and it will be a really good deal refurbished.

If the Dell 32 Plus with qd-oled is not the high-end then what else is?
Maybe something yet to be announced…..
27' one is too small for me. I would absolutely love that in 32'+.
freak.
3:46 Camera!!!👀
LG 6k monitor?
Will a macbook m1 pro 14'' work with the LG monitor?
it''d be nice if Dell could release a few more Thunderbolt monitors for creatives
I hope they dont scratch so easy like the old qd-oleds

Creator focused ones is a game changer. That's gonna be flying off the shelves if it truly is more precise than all the OLED gaming monitors.
The only thing that makes this not a gaming monitor is the lack of RGB.
Deja Vu, does any one else spot Brett Cooper replacement thing going on here
I need a
6k, 42 inch, glossy, oled, low bezzle, 144Hz, very bright monitor

When I hear "InkJet", does this "ink" run out?
Pair this with an M4 Mac Mini, still cheaper than Macbook Pro :)
I genuinely don’t care for HDR on TH-cam TBH.. I think it’s more a cinematic thing, not for a casual viewing experience.
What is your expected 5k display in CES for 2025?
Is dell planning on offering a 5k iteration of their OLED screens?
The Dell 32 Plus looks great but it appears it doesn’t have a built-in webcam. Is that correct?
I hope not. I hate built in webcams.
@mavfan1 To each their own. Just looking for clarification, not opinions.
They need to remove that built in speaker and huge chin and bring the price down to $700. Nobody needs built in 5w speakers lol

Noninfo on subpixel layout or text clarity on the productivity one…? (Also, that chin is way too much)
Talking like Caleb. Intentional? :D
I thought i was the only one that thought of that

I'll add stand to the list. I don't want to pay for a monitor stand I'm never going to use. It's just garbage taking space.

this guy has no clue about HDR content creation. Im using an odyssey g9 its perfect for HDR editing and its often on sale for under 1k
Curved monitor 🤮
Flat panel 👍
27inch 4k and with that resolution.. kinda small 😂
I only care about Ultrawide monitors. These are not interesting.

Ugliest looking 32" OLED monitor from DELL. Learn from LG how to design a 32" OLED monitor.
There is no need to move your hands while talking. The visual noise from hands is so disturbing that I couldn't watch the video
What if you just listen and do not watch the image?
These tvs are nothing special. Game monitors are what gets folks excited.
I care nothing about gaming, it’s boring and a waste of time.
