A new and original idea like HermitCraft featuring xisumavoid, Grian, and MumboJumbo. Similar to ParrotX2 and the LifeStealSMP where breaking bedrocking and blowing up 2000 TNT happens. Not related to TommyInnit, or Technoblade. Also not the Dream SMP including GeorgeNotFound, Sapnap, and Dream. 100 days in Hardcore is better than Peaceful because PvP is on.

This tier list is flawed and may be a bit biased. He puts desert in interesting for having exclusive things like cactus and dead bush which isn’t exclusive.
He puts Badlands in mediocre for a sub par explanation and dismisses the value of its badlands mineshafts and consistent gold ore and the exclusivity of various terracotta colors to mine.
Can someone explain his point?

Golds already easy to get and terracotta looks terrible
"If you take away all the terracotta and replace the red sand with grass then it's going to look like a normal plains biome" Yeah who would have guessed that taking the features out of a biome makes the it less interesting, if you removed the crimson trees and replaced the nylium with netherack the crimson forest would just be a nether wastes biome with fewer mobs, so by his logic it should have been put in dull tier, that's also completely ignoring the unique mountain generation that objectively sets it apart from the plains biome.
Another one I really don't agree with is the flower forest. Not only does the flower forest just look way better then the lain forest, but the flower forest is the only biome you can use to make flower farms, which not only makes it objectively a good biome, but it makes it infinitely better than the regular forest, which he put one tier above the floer forest
Why you didn't put cherry grove in the magnificent category :'( (try it with shaders you will love it ) well I may be biased but the cherry grove biome gives me a sense of peace and calm and that's the reason I like it so much. You got a new sub haha
When I made this video, shaders weren’t yet available for 1.20, I’ll have to go and take a look at them now to see how they look!
I agree with you it’s one of the best biomes as it represents Asian culture, the leaves fall of the Cherry Leave, Bee Hives are a bit more common their & The Cherry wood is underrated I built my own Japanese house with it.
shaders arent the base game every biome would be magnificent if shaders were there

Where's giant spruce taiga?? Its my favorite biome! (Probably because I'm a freak for medieval builds in forests)

I’ve got a pretty legit seed where you spawn in an old growth spruce forest and there’s a dark oak forest, jungle, and cherry forest nearby.

@@AppleInTheDesert fr I started a world a couple weeks ago and this badlands biome is crazy. If someone wants to rate it lower cuz it's not the most convenient then whatever but at least give it some style points.

Love the video but id also like to share some of my thoughts, so lets comment along, from the pov of someone whos mostly playing for exploration and challenge, first note id put basalt deltas in low interesting just for the parkour and danger but im fine w its position, id actually put the oak and birch forests in dull and put the flower forest in mediocre cuz it has everything that those two do (animals, wood, bees etc) plus flowers that they do not, agree with the frozen ocean placement, just wanna point out it also has shipwrecks and ocean ruins. I feel like im against the community on this but i dont really like the cherry grove biome all that much. It is very pretty but theres not much to do from my standpoint. Like 3 new blocks one of which is a lesser carpet, sorry, if the grass was pinker or sumn sure but its mediocre for me. Also end islands is interesting at best cuz ive spent literal hours just wandering, bridging, searching for end cities so the cities are cool and the biome is great with an elytra but on foot its kinda bland and i cant wait for an end overhaul. Those have been my thoughts, doubt anyones reading this but if you did, thanks, and i enjoyed the video ofc
so first off, thanks for the comment! and second, you've got some great points there. when i was making this and other tier list videos i ran into the issue of how to properly rate them, so i decided to simply just go off of one specific thing about the subject that way if other people are ranking against me it would be off of the same or very similar criteria.
The desert well now has archeology in it so it's no longer useless
