I Survived 100 Days in Hardcore Minecraft and here is what happened. Not Modded Minecraft. No Mods. Not Speedrunner Vs Hunter, More like Survivalist Vs Hunter but to the extreme. Skyblock, One Block, UHC/Ultrahardcore none of these. Just Hardcore Minecraft. 1.21 Minecraft Survival island. 1.20 Minecraft Survival island.

1.21 is a fantastic update it’s just the fandom being stupid
Watching him complain that you couldn’t find the trial chambers made me cringe so bad
1.21’s final snapshot made 1.21 in my top 5

If he waited one more day before uploading he would’ve seen 1.21 get great new additions
Caves and cliffs is so overhated, yes there were some missteps and idk if the split was the best decision but after all is said and done it completely changed Minecraft for the better, pre and post 1.18 feel completely different
I genuinely love parrots and they are my favourite mob so yeah and I am an iron golem lover
Parrots can dance so they are my 4th favorite mob

I find 1.9 combat to be more satisfying to play with but I understand why people don’t like it. I’m not really sure why they even changed it.

You did 1.15 dirty. It made the game playable again on lower end devices. Frostburn update is way worse.
bees are a good mob anyway. they might be the most complex mob in terms of behavior and use, outside of villagers.
1) You could heal iron golems
2) You could /gamerule ban phantoms
I completely disagree with your opinions on 1.21. The update is awesome and adds original stuff to the game and cool features

The update that added superflat to Minecraft should definitely not be last. There are many worse updates.

Meanwhile 1.12: literally revamped the whole achievement system into the advancement system that we know today.
My god is this the most god AWFUL ranking vid I've ever seen like dorky really put 1.10 that added about 10 FEATURES!! above 1.15 which literally CHANGED redstone so much and made soo many things possible and he rly had the nerveeess to say that it ONLY added bee related things when that's just complete BS as not only did it add iron golem cracking the bugs that were FIXED also unintentionally added many features. Not only that the community literally were HAPPY about it especially becs it was needed after 1.13 upd (which was known to be a laggy upd) but that's not IT the vid that was shown when he said the community "HATED" 1.13 was literally a vid that was made to highlight specific things that a YTber called OMGcraft makes for EVERY single upd so it's not even fair to say 1.15 was "hated".
Honestly there are soo many things I could say why this just seems like a stupid attention seeking vid that he made in like 30 mins becs of how BAD the ranking are.
BUT the ONE thing I could agree with is that trial chambers are WAY too easy (even with the trial omen effect) they should make the mobs have better armour and weapon enchantments. Also can I just mention how a SINGLE snapshot this week made ALL the points he mentioned pointless like that's how much of a L vid this is
in my opinion 1.21 is fantastic update because mojang build an update with the community this is very good thing for the future of the game

It's worth noting that part of the reason 1.15 is so small might be because the Devs were already working on the Nether Update behind the scenes.
I love how the day this video was uploaded, most of the complaints about 1.21 were fixed (and even the totem of undying being "too easy")
I agree with pigstep being number 1 update 🤩
The only good thing about the parrot is the dancing next to juke boxes (also the crafting recipe for the god apple was removed in 1.9)
I personally think 1.9 was good cus combos got more satisfying added more mechanics adding variety to pvp idk why ppl hate it today but back then it was understandable but today idk why are they still arguying on this and most ppl are just sold to nostalgia and are too lazy to accept to the changes.
Definitely a pretty solid video, but wow do i disagree with some rankings. No hate though, we all have different opinions.
For one, I'd definitely put 1.17-18 higher up - i get that the split of caves and cliffs features between 1.17-1.20 is disliked (I didn't like it either), but a full on cave and mountain revamp are features I love in modern Minecraft. Maybe that's just me though, I really like mining for any resource as well as building with moss and deepslate.
1.15 is also worthwhile because of its bug and performance fixes, as well as getting honey to be a new component in redstone. I personally wouldn't rank it as lowly as you did.
Once again biased as a builder, but 1.12's additions were really cool, too. Outside of the really neat blocks, advancements were overhauled, too! Concrete also just really opens up cool color choices that the more muted terracotta couldn't achieve. All in all, one of my more liked updates.
Oh and I'd 100% put 1.21 higher, it's probably the ranking I disagree with the most.
I might have some pretty bad takes so clown on me if whoever's reading this wants to, but those are just my thoughts.

1.21 and 1.11 being so close to eachother on the list is perfect to me they both are smaller updates that added actually cool stuff

counter argument for 1.15, it allowed for so much more to be done with redstone (using honey blocks)
edit: also dogs and armadillos are 1.20.5, not 1.21

I really liked the video but my favorite part was hearing Pokemon Colosseum background music lol.
I know this was before 1.21 was completed but there is NO WAY even at this time, that bro was saying it was better than 1.20 or 1.19 (obviously not bad updates feature wise) but 1.19 had too little (besides a cool nuanced structure) and 1.20 felt lackluster, (except the best feature in the entire game camels!!)
Generally even then before mace enchantments, ominous updates, and a few other things, this update was still very good and added a lot of new things and added to old things so yeah
Finally something different, don't get me wrong i like the 100 days vids but the variety is very much welcome

Recipe book is great QoL: quick crafting + not having to search up crafting recipes on the internet
I know it's controversial, but the stuff about 1.9 is a load of rubbish, the combat before was so boring for survival worlds and that's what they make updates primarily for. If minigame servers didn't want to update then that's on them, they had the tools to change combat to their liking. Servers who didn't follow Hypixel and updated to 1.9 did pretty well at the time, like Cubecraft, or current PVP servers like Hoplite.
Also are you ranking these updates based on whether you'd go back to that specific update? What's the point if all the features are in the current version, besides just nostalgia?

I used to watch SethBling's UHC videos back in the day, and then they just faded away, this explains it. Also the totem of undying farms are needed for some of the more careless hardcore players (ACookieGod loves to use them up, I think for effect mainly, but all hardcore series turn into buildingloadsoffarms series in the end).
Hmm, today's snapshot update may possibly make 1.21 rise in your rankings ;)
There are maps to the Trial Chambers that you can get from cartographers.

Actually 1.15 also added the Iron golem repairing/healing mechanic so that is also defenitly something
Honestly you shouldn’t care about what others think, just do your own ranking without the community criteria
nah, I'd honestly say that, maybe, 1.5.2 is the best minecraft version
I do hope they do an End Update soon in similar style to the Nether Update. It has to happen.
